Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics

A method developed by Gingold and Monaghan (1977); Lucy (1977) with original applications mostly in astrophysics. It is a Lagrangian, meshfree method which has drawn more attentions for its engineering applications recently. However,  it still faces challenges from a numerical perspective such as convergence, boundary treatments… etc.
