Teaching
Since middle school, I have been teaching math in one form or another (and probably for longer informally). I believe that everyone can do math and benefit from it and am passionate about making this happen. Math is best learned while doing it in my opinion, so I am a big fan of active learning. In the summers, I can be found teaching at MathILy, an inquiry-based learning summer program for high school students. I have also served as the Graduate Research Mentor at the MathILy-EST REU.
