Activity Based Learning for Business Management, on How to set an effective goal by proper planning, the students should plan towards a desired goal or mission. It was done through a Group Discussion. Students were grouped in to three with three different events to organize. By the end of the session, the students will be able to know how to plan effectively an event.
Activity Based Learning for Professional Business Skills, on different types of data collection.
The aim is to enable the students to know how to collect data from different data sources.
An activity on the topic 'Management by Exception' was done by the first semester B.Com Finance students. They were divided into three groups. Each groups were given an issue relating to their areas in the organization (Finance, Marketing and HR). Groups discussed on how to identify the problems in the organization and how to resolve the issues.
An activity on 'Planning' was done for first semester B.Com Finance students. Students were grouped in three and were asked to effectively plan an event going to happen in near future.
An activity was given to the fourth semester B.Com Finance students on the topic 'Functions of Entrepreneurs'. Students were grouped in four, to know what are the functions of an Entrepreneur and they were asked to prepare an prospective action plan for their newly developed enterprise.
