Protection of the Public
The citizens of Los Santos have the right to receive fair, efficient, and impartial police services. Any misconduct by department employees must first be detected, then investigated, and finally properly adjudicated.
Protection of the Department
Most law enforcement agencies are often judged by the character and conduct of the individual employees. Its the job of the Internal Affairs Division to protect the image of the department. Citizens should have the confidence that the Los Santos Police Department honestly and fairly investigates complaints of allegations and misconduct against officers.
Protection of Employees
Employees of the Los Santos Police Department must be protected against false and misinformed allegations. This can only be possible by a thorough invsetigative process.
