About us

Founded in 2008, the North Saskatchewan River Basin Council (NSRBC) is a non-profit organization focusing on creating opportunities for the development of voices that influence decision-making in the protection of source water and implementation of watershed protection plans in the North Saskatchewan River basin. Our boundaries extend from Lloydminster to the Saskatchewan River Forks and from Langham to Prince Albert National Park.

Our primary program is Notice Nature a Saskatchewan community program created to encourage outdoor play through fun, nature-loving learning activities. We believe the first step to land and water stewardship is simply noticing nature. Healthy land and water mean healthy wildlife, people, ecosystems, communities, and all the places we love. Visit the Notice Nature website for more information!
