The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) Student Chapter of NSPE at the College of Engineering was chartered in the year of 2013 and restarted on March 25th of 2025.
NSPE UTA is affiliated with the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) at the state level and TSPE-TX DFW Mid-Cities Chapter at the local level.
NSPE Student Membership is where the momentum begins, and a great way to get a head start on your professional journey. Make lifelong connections, pursue unique opportunities, and help shape the future of the profession — and national student membership is free while you’re in school.
If you are a current student enrolled in an engineering program at UTA's College of Engineering, you are eligible to join the student chapter (NSPE UTA) for academic advancement, professional advancement, and network building. NSPE UTA charges $15 for an academic year ($10 if you join in the Spring or Summer semester) as a Student Chapter fee to support students' activities of the chapter.
Follow the steps below to join NSPE UTA:
Start with an NSPE Student Membership Application (Link) by using your student email for free;
