TRIAX is a thermal beam profile neutron triple-axis spectrometer. It is used extensively both for single crystal magnetic diffraction and inelastic neutron spectroscopy for the study of crystal field levels, magnetic excitations, and phonon dispersion.

GANS utilizes neutrons scattered at grazing angles to probe the nuclear and magnetic structures at surfaces and interfaces of thin films, spanning length scales from 1 nm to 150 nm.

The 2XC neutron diffractometer utilizes a comparatively long-wavelength (lambda = 4.35 AA) in order to access periodic spacings more on the order of 1 nm rather than a few AA. It has been used to study hydrogen storage materials and biological materials.
The PSD diffractometer is optimized with a double focusing single crystal Si monochromator and a combination of a set of 15 linear position sensitive detectors. At a wavelength of lambda = 1.482 AA, it is suitable for a wide range of systems of interest, including magnetic structure determination, materials for energy, and engineering materials to name a few.
