After a longer break than desired, we are happy to finally be able to invite you all back to the 21st Norwegian Statisticians Meeting in 2024! We look forward to gathering the Norwegian statistics community again to share knowledge and strengthen the community. Your contribution and participation will be crucial to making this year's conference a success.
Traditionally, about half of the talks at this meeting are given in Norwegian. However, speakers are encouraged to have at least the slides in English.
The course language for this year's short course will also be English.
The deadline for for a talk during the conference is March 15th.
The deadline for to both the pre-course and the actual conference is April 15th.

Conference fee: NOK 5,700 with a short course and NOK 4,300 without. The fee includes coffee breaks, lunch and conference dinner, but not accommodation. More about preliminary courses here.
We have reserved 50 rooms at the conference hotel at a price of NOK 1,390 per night for single rooms and NOK 1,590 for double rooms. You can book these rooms at these prices through us, and specify them in the registration form. Conference hotel: Quality Hotell Tønsberg. There are other options around too.

Submission of abstract
Everyone is invited to submit an abstract for lectures. The deadline for submission is Friday 15 March 2024.
We want everyone to use the following template for the abstracts:
We therefore want everyone to use the abstract template and only replace what is in the template with their own information.
Note in particular that we want you to indicate the language in which you want to give your lecture. It is optional whether you want to speak in Norwegian or English, but useful to know for other participants and therefore something we would like you to indicate when submitting your abstract so that we can inform about it in the programme. We encourage everyone to have the light sheets in English, regardless of the language in which the lecture is given.
