The arc of the story begins with a spark of inspiration! As young married Devorah embroiled her friend Dalia in her plans to create a Rosh Chodesh Adar program in 10 days, we meet the Feldman sisters-in-law (Sarah, Shoshana, and Tzippi), each of whom demonstrates a different strength that helps the program come to fruition. At the same time, Esther Feldman, the matriarch of the family, arrives for her semi-annual visit and is the unknowing catalyst for each of these ladies to search within themselves for their own truth. The journey is carried along by a host of community personalities: the rebbetzin, the yentas, the mothers of large families, the sheitel macher, and more.

Miriam Leah Gamliel dropped out of the performing arts life to learn Torah and become observant. She is thrilled to finally come full circle and have the opportunity to perform in a completely original Jewish musical. Miriam Leah brought with her not only a wealth of stage experience in other cities, but also her knowledge and resources as founder and director of ATARA (The Arts and Torah Association, artsandtorah.org), an organization supporting religious women in the performing arts.
Rachel Gray has been writing songs, plays, and poems since she was five years old. She has studied music, voice, and composition and has previous experience with script writing, choir direction, and play production. Her fun and funny songs, capturing the special nuances of the busy lives of most of the women of the community, are also her original compositions. Rachel also carries the musical direction for the show.
Sarah Rochel grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where she was an active member in theatrical productions. She has a BA in Creative Writing and a BA in Judaic Studies from the University of Maryland, as well as a Masters in Secondary English Education.
