Gain research experience at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), an Institute of Eminence (IoE), which is ranked #1 among the engineering institutions in India for the fourth consecutive year according to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) emerging prescriptive analytics techniques.
Program consists of three stages:
Stage 1 - Weeks 1&2: Pre-departure (training phase) in the US
Stage 2 - Weeks 3 - 8: IITM Visit in India
Stage 3: Week 9: Post-IITM visit (completion phase) in the US
Student stipend of $500 per week for 9 weeks during Summer 2023
Meal allowance and housing will be provided during their travel and stay in India for 6 weeks
Round trip travel expense will be covered
Training will be provided to effectively write journal papers and conference proceedings
Other professional developmental activities, such as opportunity to present research work at various events, technical knowledge training by MU faculty mentors, and prospect to discuss future career related choices with faculty and graduate student mentor
Sustained mentorship beyond the project scope
