About

Regional collaboration requires shared and common science drivers where the collection, study, and underlying research requirements cross state and international boundaries. Arizona State University and the Utah Education and Telehealth Network are holding a regional planning workshop to examine science and cyberinfrastructure the requires inter-state collaboration. Led by Lev Gonick and ASU, this workshop will focus discussion on the planning and support of science research in precision agriculture, advanced wireless, urban broadband, and rural data management (fire and water) in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This two-day workshop will bring together researchers and cyberinfrastructure experts to understand, plan, and pilot shared infrastructure to forward and develop inter-institutional strategies and solutions to advance science in Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, and along the U.S./Mexico border.
