Call for Papers

In keeping with the previous editions, the conference seeks papers on the broad theme of social and economic networks.

The deadline for all submissions is January 30, 2026. Papers should be submitted HERE via Oxford Abstracts (you'll need to sign up for a free Oxford Abstracts account if you don’t have one). 

Decisions will be communicated in mid-February, 2026.

While extended abstracts are acceptable, full papers are encouraged. Young scholars are especially encouraged to submit papers. We are still unsure of support for any travel expenses and will send an update before the conference (with younger scholars having priority).  Please note that no conference proceedings will be published. 

Given the continuously growing demand for the NSE conference series, beginning in 2026 we will have two iterations of the NSE series each year - one in North America and one on another continent. The University of Luxembourg will host our inaugural fall edition on October 24-26, 2026. A call for papers will be issued in the spring. People are welcome to participate in either or both iterations.
