# Privacy Policy — NRStrength

This Privacy Policy applies to the **NRStrength** app (the "Application") for mobile devices, created by **Vanca Rafael Marian** (the "Service Provider"). The Application is offered as a free, ad-supported service with optional in-app subscriptions.

## 1. Overview: Where Your Data Lives
- **Fitness and health data** (workouts, nutrition logs, measurements, goals, step count, etc.) is stored **locally on your device** using local storage (e.g. Hive). It is **not** sent to the Service Provider’s servers unless you use features that explicitly sync (see Section 2).
- **Account and profile data** (e.g. email, display name, weight, height) used for sign-in and optional cloud sync are processed by **Firebase** (Google). Payment for subscriptions is handled entirely by **Google Play** or **Apple App Store**; we do not collect or store your payment card details.

## 2. Information We Collect and How We Use It
### a) Information You Provide (Local Only)
For core app features, you may provide:
- Name, age, gender, height, weight
- Fitness goals and workout data
- Nutrition and meal data
This information is used to provide features such as BMI/TDEE calculations, progress tracking, and personalized plans. **When you do not use an account or cloud features, this data remains only on your device.**
### b) Account and Cloud Data (Firebase)
If you create an account (e.g. sign in with email):
- We store **account and profile information** (e.g. email, name, weight, height, onboarding data) on **Google Firebase** (Authentication and Firestore) so you can sign in and, where applicable, restore your profile after reinstalling the app or using another device.
- If you use **coach or social features** (e.g. Friends, completion updates, groups), the data needed for those features (e.g. client lists, completion status, group membership) may be stored and processed on Firebase and visible to other users or coaches as described in the app.
We use this data to provide account, sync, and social/coach functionality and to improve our services.
### c) Automatically Collected Information (Ads and Analytics)
The Application uses **third-party services** (such as **Google AdMob**) that may automatically collect **non–personally identifiable** information to serve ads and help us improve the app, including:
- Device IP address
- Advertising ID
- Device make, model, and OS version
- Aggregated, anonymized usage data (e.g. screens or features used, time spent)
If you have an **active paid subscription**, ads may be reduced or disabled in line with the app’s behavior. Payment for subscriptions is processed by Google Play or the App Store; we do not receive your card or banking details.
### d) Device Permissions
- **Pedometer / physical activity:** The app may use your device’s motion sensors for the step counter. This data is used only to show your step count in the app and is not sent off your device unless you use features that explicitly sync data.
- **Theme and language:** The app may read your device’s language and theme settings to tailor the experience. These are not stored as personal data.
We do **not** collect precise geolocation (e.g. GPS) for the purposes described in this policy.

## 3. Third-Party Services
The Application uses services that have their own privacy and terms:
- **Google Play Services** (including Firebase: Auth, Firestore)
- **Google AdMob**
- **Google Play Billing / Apple In-App Purchase** (for subscriptions)
We recommend reading their policies. We may disclose **aggregated, anonymized** information where required by law or to protect against fraud. We do **not** sell your personal fitness or health data.

## 4. Data Retention and Your Choices
- **Local data:** You control data stored only on your device. You can remove it by:
- Using any in-app “Delete all data” (or similar) option, which clears local storage, and/or
- Uninstalling the Application.
- **Account and cloud data:** You can delete your account or request deletion of data held in Firebase by contacting us (see Section 9). Account and subscription status may be retained as required for legal or billing purposes (e.g. refunds, disputes).

## 5. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 13. The Application is not intended for users under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us; we will take steps to delete it where applicable.

## 6. Security
We take the security of your information seriously. Data on your device is protected by your device’s own security (e.g. lock screen, biometrics). Data sent to our providers (e.g. Firebase) is protected by their security measures and standard industry practice. We do not store your payment details; payments are handled by Google or Apple.

## 7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when we do. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
