Our colleagues work in a variety of different positions, roles, and functions in the ready-mix industry, and all are equally eligible to apply for, and participate, in the DIL program. Ideally, a candidate will have 3 years of experience in the ready-mix industry.
As colleagues arrive in the ready-mix industry from multiple paths (which may or may not include college), there is no education requirement to apply for, and participate, in the DIL program.
Please note, research, writing, and presenting are all component parts of the learning experience and participants should be able to use personal computers, desktop technology, and MS Office suite.
Participating in the DIL program requires stamina and perseverance. Great DIL colleagues are cooperative in nature, collaborative in work style, and courageous in a crowd. Companies are encouraged to nominate candidates who are willing and able to fully engage across all program components.
