K.K Bhanuprakash is the son of late K.M Krishnaswamy who is an well known Mridangam artist in Karnataka. He born in Kolar on 30th May 1988. He has completed his master degree MSW in the year 2010. At present he is working as a Mridangam Faculty in Rashtrottana CBSE school, Ramamurthy Nagar, B’lore.
Bhanuprakash started learning Mridangam with his father at the age of eight. Later he continued to learn Mridangam and other percussion with the eminent artist Vidwan S.V Giridhar since 2005. He has been playing Mridangam and other percussion instruments from the year 2000.
He has completed his Vidwath examination (first rank) in the year 2016. Blessings from his parents and Guru Vidwan S.V Giridhar, he started accompanying Mrudangam, Kanjira and Morsing instruments in many parts of Karnataka and other states. He is also ‘B’ high graded artist from All India Radio and Doordarshan, Bangalore.

Kanyakumari, Vidwan Naiveli Santhana Gopalan, A.K.C Natarajan, Ragam sisters, Chinmaya sisters, Vidwan R.K Srikantan, Vidushi M.S Vidya, Vidwan Vidyabhushana, vidwan Srikantham Nagendrashastri, vidushi Mahathi, Dr.Sumaa Sudheendra, Kaasaravalli Sisters, Vidushi Neela Ramgopal, Mandolin U Rajesh, Vidwan Mandolin U.P Raju, Vidwan S. Sheshagiri Rao, TNS Krishna, Vidwan R.S Ramaakanth, Pallavi C Varadaraj, Bangalore Brothers and upcoming artist many more.
He has accompaning in the well known Nandi Taalavadya Academy since 2006 and Layaranjani Percussion ensembles and fusion bands.
He has participated in many music festivals like Ramotsava festival, Hampi festival, Kaiwara Guru poornima music festival, Nandi festival and many more. He has participated in many music sabhas and for other organizations name a few

He has been playing Mridangam and other percussion instruments from the year 2000.
