As part of our 3rd year module, Applied data management, Allan, Anthony & I (Chris) will be running an event which will take place on Tuesday 27th February, 2018. The event will last the whole day and will involve lecturers living a day in the life of a wheelchair user here on campus at IADT. In the process, raising vital funds which will all go to the NRH.
A small bit about the NRH;
The National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) provides a comprehensive range of specialist rehabilitation services to patients from throughout Ireland who, as a result of an accident, illness or injury have acquired a physical or cognitive disability and require specialist rehabilitation
NRH Mission;
The NRH Foundation was established in 1983. The Foundation’s role is to develop and manage the NRH Hospital’s fundraising activities and to encourage further philanthropic support towards its key aims.
Our mission in conjunction with the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) is to:
Generate financial support for investment in enhancing services for patients, vital medical research and innovative approaches to medical care.
Manage, invest and disburse all funds raised for the benefit of ‘good causes’ in the NRH efficiently and with regard for donor’s wishes.
