When is drop-off and pick up?
Drop-off is between 9 and 9:15 at Benevento LL complex. Pick up is at 2pm.
What should my child bring with them?
Snack and Lunch
In addition, the snack shack will be open and players may purchase lunch (chicken fingers, pizza, hot dogs) or snacks (candy, chips, fried dough)
Water bottle
We will have unlimited Gatorade and water for all participants
Sunscreen (please send your player with sunscreen already on but we will have PLENTY of extra sunscreen and will constantly be reminding/helping kids to re-apply)
Baseball glove, bat and helmet (We will have extra bats and helmets for those who do not have them)
Great attitude!
What should my child wear?
Players have their choice of wearing baseball pants or shorts. We are expecting some warm weather so whatever your child is most comfortable in is fine. It is recommended (but not necessary) that they also wear cleats.
What do we do if it rains?
We make every possible attempt to hold the clinic as we know cancellation is very inconvenient for families. Even when raining, we will try to play baseball related games such as trivia, baseball charades, and watch a baseball movie under the pavilion on a projector screen. In the event the entire day is a washout and there’s no chance we can play, we will notify you ASAP via email and post an announcement on our Facebook page NR Baseball Clinic. All final decisions will be made before 7am that morning. Additionally, we will try to hold a rain make-up day on Friday of that week.
Will we be getting a clinic T-Shirt?
Yes, every player will get a clinic t-shirt on the first day. In addition, we have a few other “give-aways” that we are excited for!
What if I need to communicate with staff during the day?
If you need to communicate with us during clinic hours, feel free to email us at nrhornetsbaseball@gmail.com. For urgent matters, feel free to call/text Gabby Archambault at 978.273.6211.
Anything else we should know?
We can’t wait for a great week. Safety is our #1 priority. We will have plenty of extra water, unlimited Gatorade, first-aid kits and ice packs available. If there are any individual needs, please email Coach Archambault ahead of time or see him at drop-off on the first day.
