Here is a detailed list of my relevant experience with dropdowns on each.
The Theia Method was founded to solve problems plaguing the graduate application process. I founded this initiative with Drishti Hoskote, and we've worked with almost seven applicants so far. We work on a strict cohort basis and aim to tailor each student's application to their story, and their dream. We founded The Theia Method in January 2022, and are a women-owned startup. What I love the most about The Theia Method are the different stories I hear. We aim to build a community of graduate students.
During the last year of my undergraduate study at PES University, I was given an option to intern for credit. I worked as a research intern in the Department of Electrical and Electronics, PES University, under the guidance of Prof. Sangeeta Modi from August 2021 to May 2022.
My main work was on the protection of power systems.
August 2021 - October 2021: Literature Review of Modern Power Systems, Challenges and Issues faced by Power Systems, Distributed Generation, Microgrids, Renewable Energy Sources, Fault Analysis, Fault Characteristics in Distributed DC Systems, and Challenges and Efforts Related to the Protection of Power Systems
November 2021 - December 2021: Implementation of an Energy Change Algorithm on a Solar-Based DC System
January 2021 - February 2022: Formulation of Current Change Algorithm and the Application of Fourier Series in the Protection of DC Protection Systems
March 2022 - May 2022: Application of Machine Learning in the Protection of Power Systems.
The outcome of this internship was one poster and five research papers accepted into various international journals and conferences. You can find them here.
After my sixth semester, I interned at WS Atkins, a subsidiary of SNC Lavalin. I joined the Networks Team at Atkins, which was involved in the Planning of Power and Energy Systems, Electrical Distribution Networks, HVDC, and HVAC operations.
As an intern, I underwent training on the Networks Team. My main activities included Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit Analysis, Transformer Design, Cable Sizing, Simulation on ETAP, Basics of Substation Design, Basics of MV Networks, and Analysis of IEEE Standard Systems. I also made reports of Cable Sizing and Transformer Design.
Apart from this, I was given the opportunity to present my Capstone work to the team as a part of the monthly knowledge-sharing session. Here, I spoke about Improving Solar Efficiency with Maximum Power Point Tracking Algorithms.
Tutoring at Athena was personally and professionally, one of the biggest breakthroughs for me. I got an opportunity to tutor a 10th Standard IGCSE Student for Chemistry. Tutoring has been something I wanted to pursue for a long time. I've tutored almost 10 students in Science, Math, and Computer Science with Athena from 2020 to 2022. The opportunity made me realize how much I love teaching science and math.

I interned in the Operations team at Unacademy in 2020. My work at Unacademy included optimizing the reporting of the PSC teams and the Category Scheduling of Classes. I scaled the previously built weekly review email system, which now handles review emails of more than 500-600 educators. I also aided the team by building a YouTube Analytics Tracker Using Google Script, which provided analytics based on a YouTube video's link.
During the summer of 2019 (June - August), I interned at Unacademy. As a part of the PSC Team, I was responsible for generating, contacting, and onboarding educator leads for the TNPSC and KPSC Category. Furthermore, I worked on the automation of the educator weekly review emails using Google Script and worked on the Ed-Tech Market Analysis of around 20 Indian Ed-Tech companies.
After the completion of Grade 12 in 2018, I chose to pursue a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at People's Education Society (PES) University, Bangalore. At PESU, I was part of the Music Club, Quotient Quiz Club, and volunteered in organizing the inter-collegiate fest. Aatmatrisha.
I received a Distinction Award Certificate for my academic performance 5 times and scored a perfect 10.0 GPA in my final semester. I graduated with a 7.81/10.0 and a First Class with Distinction.
During my time at PES University, I opted to specialize in Smart Power Control (Power Systems and Energy).
