Phytochemical investigation: Isolation and characterization of minor, rare, and bio-active natural products towards the phytopharmaceutical drug development.

Phytochemical analysis: Development of novel analytical methodologies for the purification, qualitative and quantitative estimations towards the holistic standardization of extracts and formulations. These include LC/LC-MS/GC/GC-MS/MS-MS/NMR etc.

Phytopharmaceutical drug development: This is a new drug category that requires standardization with respect to a minimum of four bio-active markers along with stability, formulation, analytical methodologies, pharmacological investigations etc.

Green-sustainable extraction technologies: These involve solvent-free extraction of bio-active natural products and standardized extracts.

Preformulation studies: Studies on the formulation development of bioactive natural products and phytopharmaceutical drugs for enhancing their stability, bio-accessibility, water solubility, and efficacies.
