Work requirements:
2X A4 workbook pages of composition planning
Image collection
As a class talk about composition, symbolism and communication of yourself through your artwork.
Look at how the artist models have used composition and symbolism.
Look at pinterest – ANDREA FANSHAWE – YEAR 10 ART VASE
Plan what you will have in your composition:
-Brainstorm, what type of vase shape will I use?
-Brainstorm, the memory/person/image you will transfer into your vase.
-Brainstorm, what flowers will I use to represent my culture?(Choose between 1-3)
EXTENSION- Brainstorm symbolic objects for foreground/background/hanging(Look at Fiona Pardington for ideas)
Draw 6 composition plan sketches in your workbook.
Choose your favorite composition and collect and print your imagery for transfer.
