In lectures and seminars, I encourage students to connect finance and economics with real-world social and market developments. Using data, concrete examples, and research findings, students learn to formulate their own questions, reason from evidence, and make informed judgments.
Alongside university teaching, I offer seminars and financial education for the wider public and working adults. I draw on insights from financial practice and research to support learning for students, individual investors, and financial professionals.
Regular courses and teaching approach
My regular teaching includes Basic Statistics, Introduction to Economics, Financial Theory, and Financial Literacy. Topics range from the foundations of finance and economics to statistics and data analysis, financial markets, life planning, and asset formation.
I combine theoretical study with interpreting data and applying concepts to familiar situations and social issues. The aim is to help students use what they learn to understand their own lives and future choices, as well as society and markets.
Education in partnership with companies and professional organizations
Sustained collaboration with companies and professional organizations is an important part of my teaching. Through curriculum planning and coordination with practitioners, I create opportunities for students to connect finance, insurance, and asset formation with professional practice and social issues.

This work ranges from finance, economics, and asset formation to specialist education on financial markets and derivatives. I adapt the approach to participants’ interests and experience.
Drawing on financial practice and research, I aim to help participants understand how finance works and think for themselves about risk and decision-making.
