StockInvest is a secure, real-time financial web application designed to empower users with live market data and seamless cryptocurrency transactions. Developed using the Next.js App Router, the app leverages server-side rendering and dynamic routing for optimal performance and scalability. It integrates strong authentication protocols and third-party APIs to ensure both usability and security.
The platform allows verified users to access a personalized dashboard where they can monitor market caps, manage their crypto wallet, and perform transactions via Coinbase integration. With a focus on user safety, the app includes Google reCAPTCHA to prevent brute-force attacks and enforces strict access control for sensitive operations
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Developed a secure authentication system with Firebase Auth, including sign-in, account creation, and password reset flows. Implemented Google reCAPTCHA to safeguard against brute-force attacks and ensure bot protection.
Built a responsive user dashboard for verified users to access personalized financial tools and data.
Connected the application to Coinbase API, enabling users to send and receive Bitcoin, view wallet balances, and perform secure transactions.
Enforced access control by verifying users before granting access to sensitive features and financial operations.
Styled the entire application using Tailwind CSS, ensuring a clean, modern, and responsive user interface.
Applied security best practices such as input validation, token-based session management, and role-based access control
