Here are some frequently asked questions you may have:

Where should I park?

• Hokie Ambassadors should try to park anywhere besides Perry St. Parking garage, 24-hour faculty spots, service, or metered spots. 

• Some of the best parking lots would be Hanh Hall N, along Drillfield, Davidson, Saunders, West End, or Duck Pond. 

When and Where should I check in? 

• You should check in AT the time your shift OR before at the location stated on the website (ex. parking and balloons in Burruss 116 and tours at the tent). It is crucial for the success of open house to be on time so please be ON TIME! 

A guest needs special ADA accommodations and has just arrived to open house, who should I connect them with? 

• Contact Ella if it is during check in! And Sydney for tour accommodations. 

How do I give an open house tour?

• Keep in mind it should only be about 30-40 minutes long and focus on talking a lot about your personal experience on campus

• If the guest have a LOT of questions, guide them back to the HA tent (Burruss) so we can keep tours moving smoothly 

Why is open house so fun? 

• Because there is so much HA Love, free food and phenomenal memories :)
