November and December 2022
2022 Wabash County Annual Meeting
New project site for Wabash County Master Gardeners
Greetings everyone,
I hope you all are getting some well-deserved rest after harvest season. This time of year in the office I start focusing on 2023 programs. There are a number of programs coming down the pipeline for next year. I'm currently working on the 2023 Adult Farmer Schedule . Two classes will be held in Huntington County and the other 2 will take place in Wabash. Dates and topics are below. There will be a PARP and Ag Outlook (with a meal) in Wabash.
I was able to speak with a handful of landowners this fall and it looks like there was a large range of harvest numbers throughout the county, but the majority of folks were happy with outcomes despite a very dry August.
In 2023 I will be sending out a paper newsletter with reminders of the upcoming programs. If you'd like to receive that in the mail, just contact our office (office phone: 260-563-0661 ext. 1408) and give us your name and address and we'll get you on the list.
I would like to give a special thank you to those who came to our 2022 Purdue Extension Annual Meeting! We had a great turnout and appreciate all your support. If anyone is interested in being a member on the Wabash County Extension Board, feel free to reach out to me.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year this Holiday Season!
