Privacy Policy for Nova Survival
Last Updated: September 10, 2026
Nova Survival ("the Game", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Nova Survival on Android or iOS.
Nova Survival does not require a Nova Survival account and does not operate its own server-side user-profile database. The Game does, however, use platform and advertising services that may process data to provide ads, purchases, consent management, security, diagnostics, and related functionality.
1. Data processed by the Game and its service providers
Depending on your platform, region, device settings, app version, consent choices, and the features you use, the following data may be collected and shared with service providers:
• IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location.
• Device, app, and advertising identifiers where available and permitted.
• App and advertising interactions, such as app launches, taps, ad impressions, and video views.
• Diagnostic and performance information, such as launch time, hangs, energy use, crashes, and SDK performance.
• Consent and privacy-choice signals.
• Purchase and transaction information needed to complete, verify, acknowledge, restore, and prevent abuse of in-app purchases. We do not receive complete payment-card details.
Google states that data automatically collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit and is used for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention, security, and compliance.
2. Advertising, AdMob, and consent
Nova Survival uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may process the data described above to deliver, measure, secure, and limit advertising.
Where required, Nova Survival uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and store advertising consent or privacy choices. The Game updates the applicable UMP consent information before initializing or requesting ads. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized, non-personalized, contextual, limited, or unavailable.
For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the consent message may provide options to consent, refuse, or manage purposes and advertising partners. You can withdraw or change an available choice later through "Privacy and Cookie Settings" in the Game's Settings screen.
For users in US states with applicable privacy laws, UMP may present state privacy choices and process Global Privacy Platform signals. Where available, "Privacy and Cookie Settings" lets you reopen those choices. You may also use the privacy and advertising controls provided by Android, iOS, Google, or Apple.
Device advertising identifiers are used only when available under platform rules, device settings, and applicable consent. Declining an available consent or tracking choice does not prevent you from playing the Game, although it may change or limit the ads you receive.
3. In-app purchases
Optional digital purchases are processed by Google Play Billing on Android and StoreKit/App Store on iOS. Google or Apple processes payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. Nova Survival does not collect or store full credit-card, debit-card, or bank-account information.
The Game receives only the product and transaction status needed to unlock content, acknowledge or restore eligible purchases, and reduce purchase fraud. Purchase entitlements may be stored locally on the device.
4. Local game data and platform backups
Nova Survival stores game progress and preferences locally, including settings, scores, unlocked content, purchase entitlements, and privacy-related state.
On Android, selected progress information may be included in Android or Google device backup and restore services when those services are enabled. Clearing app data or uninstalling the Game removes local app data, but a platform backup may later restore eligible data according to your Google backup settings.
On iOS, progress and settings may be stored in UserDefaults, and a compact recovery copy may be stored in the iOS Keychain. Keychain information can survive a reinstall on the same device and may be included in an encrypted device migration or backup, depending on Apple's platform behavior and your settings.
The developer does not receive this local progress in an independent Nova Survival cloud account.
5. Third-party services
Nova Survival uses or may rely on:
• Google AdMob and Google Mobile Ads SDK.
• Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).
• Google Play services and Google Play Billing on Android.
• Apple StoreKit, App Store, Keychain, and platform services on iOS.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies, terms, security practices, and legal obligations. Google privacy information is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Apple privacy information is available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
Nova Survival does not include Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics in the audited app version and does not independently sell personal information. Advertising disclosures under some US laws may use broader terms such as "sale", "sharing", or "targeted advertising"; applicable opt-out choices are provided through UMP and platform controls where required.
6. Legal bases and regional rights
Where applicable, advertising processing is based on consent, legitimate interests, contractual necessity, or compliance with law, depending on the purpose, region, and service-provider role.
Users in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or request portability of personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Residents of applicable US states may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal data and to opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. Nova Survival will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Most advertising data is controlled directly by Google rather than stored in a Nova Survival account. Use the in-game privacy entry point and your Google, Android, Apple, or iOS controls first. You may also contact us at the address below; we will respond to verifiable requests within the period required by applicable law and explain when a request must be directed to a service provider.
7. Retention and deletion
Local game data remains until it is cleared, overwritten, or removed, subject to Android backup or iOS Keychain and encrypted-backup behavior described above. You can clear local Android app data or uninstall the Game. On iOS, uninstalling may not remove Keychain recovery data; resetting the device Keychain or contacting us for guidance may be necessary.
Google and Apple retain information according to their own policies, user controls, and legal obligations. Advertising identifiers can be reset or deleted through supported device or account controls. Consent choices can be changed through the in-game "Privacy and Cookie Settings" entry point when UMP requires it.
8. Children and teens
Nova Survival is not intended for children under 13. The Game does not knowingly create accounts for or directly collect personal information from children through a Nova Survival server. Store target-audience and age-rating declarations may include teen users. Age-related advertising and consent treatment must follow the user's applicable age status, region, platform rules, and Google Play Families requirements.
If you believe a child provided personal information directly to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
9. Security
Google states that Google Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Purchases are handled through Google Play or Apple's App Store. We use reasonable safeguards within the Game, but no transmission, device, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Game, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. The updated policy will be published at the same public URL with a revised "Last Updated" date.
