Nova Scotia Envirothon
Envirothon is North America's largest and fastest growing environmental education program.
The program is meant to challenge high school students and educators to look at the natural resources our great province has to offer, in a combined classroom and hands-on atmosphere.
Due to concerns around COVID-19 the 2020 Nova Scotia Envirothon has been cancelled. For any questions or concerns, please email brenna.reynolds@forestns.ca
THE PROGRAM
• Educates future resource stewards
• Promotes E-STEM (environment, science, technology, engineering and math) education
• Creates community awareness
• Fosters appreciation and respect for the natural world and fellow citizens
• Expands students’ knowledge and comprehension skills
