Interviews
ATHEN | JDM
What were your thoughts from yesterday’s race and the final lap?
ATHEN: I thought the race went pretty well, despite some hiccups with the car and some drivers. The racing was really good when we got a chance to spread out. I wanna give a shoutout to CK and AJ for that great battle throughout the race, and it was unfortunate I wasn’t able to properly have one for the win late. As for the last lap, not a lot of drivers actively look forward to winning under caution, but sometimes you just gotta take what you’re given. All in all, a good weekend, and looking forward to Sonoma.
JDM: The race was an uphill battle from the start. Within 5 laps got put 3 laps down, Had to battle the whole race just to be in contention. Multiple incidents on pit road, I’m just glad that I got the chance to actually show the field what I could do and work my way through it with 20tg, The final lap kinda sucked because I feel like I could have gotten athen, but I also could have wrecked myself in the process so I’m also glad it came out when it did.
Post Race Penalties:
Eurotixz will be suspended from next week's races at sonoma for off track language
JDM and Midnight Club will be given a $2,500 fine for scheme violations (section 4.2.2.2) the fine will double next week if the violation is not corrected
Penthos and Midnight Club will be given a $2,500 fine for scheme violations (section 4.2.2.2) the fine will double next week if the violation is not corrected
Gavin and TurnsLeft Enterprises will be given a $2,500 fine for scheme violations (section 4.2.2.2) the fine will double next week if the violation is not corrected
Remy and Off Rails Racing will be given a $10,000 fine for intentional wrecking on the final lap (according to section 2.1.1.2)
JDM and Midnight Club will be given an $8,000 fine for intentional wrecking post-race violation of section 2.1.1.2
AJ & Koimōshi Motorsports Will Be Given a $5,000 Dollar Fine For Wreckless Driving Under Pacing in the final laps.
Incident With 8 To Go
There was an incident that involved MRI’s Litman Nick As He Spun out in front of the 28 of Penthos and then lost control while trying to save it in the front-stretch. He attempted to rejoin the track until his car darted to the right and smashed hard into the 26 of AJ who was leading at this point and the 45 of Dino.
Nick Did Release His POV of what happened and told me that car wouldn’t turn before AJ smashed into him.
Notable People like Grifox, Spring and Myself defended Nick as it really wasn’t his fault.
But AJ and His Team Owner Crown Says Otherwise.
AJ: you ran 150 laps with the car, maybe if you had a brain you would know that theres wheelspin, you shouldve definitely atleast found out under caution.
Crown: you know the car slides at high rpm
Anyway that’s all for right now. We will see you at Sonoma Raceway For The Hatsune Miku Grand Prix At 1PM EST Only On Comet

Dynamo Racing, the Superteam of ISCR, has turned into the backmarkers of NOVA. 2 stinkers back to back are leaving this legendary organization looking as competitive as a super soaker in a warzone. 4 DNQs, 1 suspension, and 6 points is not good reading for the Houston-based team, but can they turn it around and bring glory back to the Lone Star state? We at The Mound™ reached out to team-owner Unexpected for comment:
Did you expect the season to start better for you?
"I was certainly hoping for a better start, but am hopeful we can put the last two races behind us and look ahead
especially with me and Crimson having been champions in previous seasons of ISCR"
Do you think if you put your head down and keep driving, things will improve?
"I certainly try to, but one thing I have struggled with recently is consistency, cause the last time I truly tried to put my head down and grind was s7 ISCR, almost a year ago when I was in the title fight. And then when s8 came around I stopped pushing quite as hard cause life started to get in the way in the form of college and I have been trying to get back to that but its been a slow process.
an example of that lack of consistency would be today when I was 6th fastest in practice and then struggled to set a good lap time in quali a full .7 seconds off pace"
If this season doesn't improve, will there be massive personnel changes before season 2?
"if there is no improvement and I still struggle to qualify for races I would probably move away from full time racing and either shift to being just a team owner fully or just race part time"

Prince Motorsports had a very terrible weekend as an organization. Even before the weekend started, Seb had to sit out because he ended up having a medical emergency and was hospitalized.
EDITORS NOTE: Seb, I Hope you get well soon!
As Lite Series qualifying rolled around, the 7 of Bassie did not attend. The 70 car of Train and the 78 of Will (who was buschwhacking) attempted to qualify for the Big Beer 350. Will qualified 13th while Train did not even make the race due to being eliminated from qualifying. Will would go on to have a terrible race, getting caught up in wrecks and ultimately finishing 9th. The next day during the Cup Series Qualifying, the 17 of Cxrti wasn't able to attend leaving just 40 of Will and 99 of Gus left to attempt qualifying. Will barely made it again qualifying 13th. Gus qualified 8th. The first half of the race was bad, Will and Gus kept getting into wrecks. Both cars at the end wrecked and would finish as 7th for Gus and 8th for Will. (The results are unofficial)
PrinceWill’s Thoughts: I don't even know what to think of anymore, I've got no words. No words at all. Everything that could've gone wrong this weekend went wrong, and the worst part is that none of our cars made it to the shootout. Super thanks to our sponsors Quaker State, Menards, Coors Light, Fastenal, and Furniture Row. I'm just looking forward to Rockingham at this point and hopefully we can get a good result.

The First Season of Nova Has Officially Begun with The First Race Ever for The Lite Series at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
There have been some wild moments from the lite series yesterday with 56 laps & 10 cautions and one new winner came from the shadows.
Off Rails Racing’s Djking and Verge Finished 1-2 with one of the most unexpected push to the finish. I was able to interview both of them after the race.
Verge: "Well, it was pretty challenging with the constant stop-and-go race, but once things settled down a bit, I was able to make smart decisions through the field in order to stay behind my pal. I'm glad we were able to pull off a 1-2 and put the team and ourselves on the map and I'm just very glad that Dj was able to pull away and I stuck behind him and secured 2nd. Overall, it's a wonderful feeling."
Djking (joint statement): it was a really up and down day, and I was determined to get to the front, and I got to the front pretty fast, but I kept getting minor setbacks. And I knew that for the first race of the season that this was a pretty big moment, and I just focused on getting up front and helping my teammate, and working together, and I really couldn't have won the race without Verge. I really owe him big time for this victory. But yeah, I wasn't expecting to be the most dominant car and I just kept my head down and I thank God.
The newly Trek Daytona 500 was set with 80 laps and 11 cautions. Dreggsome Won It After Litman Nick, who dominated the whole race and never won at Daytona, Lifted and gave It to Dreggsome. I caught up to both drivers on pit road
Dreggsome: "It's crazy, I haven't won a race since the D&W days and now I'm the first ever Nova D1 winner? Gotta thank Nick for his pre-race coaching (and letting me slide in at the end there), Pancake and Toxic for being incredible teammates and Viking for being the man himself. Think I got a little extra luck from using NTR's old number from his MRI days lmao. Never in a million years did I expect something like this to happen."
Litman_Nick: "After we saw pancake get dumped from p2, I knew I had a huge gap and wouldn’t lose without a major mistake. However going down the backstretch I hear “MRI 1-2-3” being yelled out. I knew pancake wasn’t in the mix so as I look back I see THE Dreggsome in p2 with a huge gap. Knowing this team has always been side by side with him I knew what I had to do. This teams success means way more then my own. Knowing that the longest tenured driver after the founder, I made the conscious decision to back off of the win and still lock up the 1-2-3. This victory is the largest in a long time and gives me similar joy to know that I once again helped the team win another Daytona opener race, dating back to S2 D2 Daytona."
Those are the interviews from the MRI’s Drivers.
We also got the release of the official race results. And then after that we will see some post race penalties from yesterday and possibly today.
#78 Princewill and Prince Motorsports will be given a $5,000 fine for wreckless driving on the cooldown lap in the Big Beer 350.
#40 Princewill Will be given a TTB penalty for failing to serve his Drive Through at Daytona before the end of the race

This is the final article for 2025 and wow it’s been an amazing ride. I only made my very first article in August 3rd 2025. And then more and more articles after that. And one of those articles made it to the vra website.
I want to thank you guys very much for reading these articles. Spring for giving me a lot of information and advice about both VRA and Nova despite me feeling like I kept bugging him all year round. Also to everyone I know from when I first met them in the vra server. They mean a lot to me and once again from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you ❤️

I got the chance to interview most of the Board Of Directors At Nova. The following people are Galexel, Crown, Spring, NTR, Sven and Elbud.
(It’s out of order)
The Newly Merged League is starting very soon next month, and it has no signs of slowing down. What are your thoughts about the very first season of Nova?
Crown: It's going to be really fun i hope. We put a lot of work into it, and it was in planning since August. I'm very happy with the way the development went and once again i hope this turns out really well.
Sven: The first season of Nova is an exciting start for the league. With D1 and D2 coming together, there’s a lot of momentum and ambition going into this season. I see it as a foundation-building year where the goal is to establish identity, consistency, and long-term direction rather than rushing results. For a first season, that focus makes a lot of sense.
Bud: Its definitely going to be rough around the edges. NOVA prides itself with a different than the rest chassis from most other leagues, so everything can still be somewhat blurry. It will be a season of learning for all of us, staff and drivers included.
Galaxel: I’m excited for our first season, we’ve been working on this behind the scenes for months now, it’s nice to see it all come together.
Spring: I'm very excited about the first season, I think it’s going to be competitive and very fun.
Trobe: When I first heard about the concept of NOVA during the early stages of its development, I was very hesitant since I was very happy with the current development and potential of VRA, but hearing about ISCR having the same amount of potential has made me come to ease, and I am confident that along with the other racing products we will provide, NOVA will thrive as a concept.
You are one of the 9 Board Of Directors In Nova. How does it feel to have that position.
Crown: I was actually the one who started this whole idea of a merger, having connections to both ISCR and VRA owners! Having this position to me was a given, as I was the glue that held both sides together.
Bud: With great power comes great responsibility - I am head of development for NOVA, and as such I need to be perfect week in and week out. Sure we have back up people incase something happens, but that should be the last resort.
Sven: Being one of the Board of Directors feels very special to me. I ran my own league, the Speed Prototype Challenge, which is a relatively small league, so being trusted with a leadership role within Nova especially as Head of the Endurance Series means a lot. That experience is a big reason why I’m part of the BOD, but at the same time, I also have strong knowledge on stock car racing and enjoy helping wherever I can within the league. Being able to contribute on a larger scale like this, beyond my own series, is something I truly value.
Galaxel: I like the board of directors system we’re using, it lets us each work on different aspects that we excel in, and I’m comfortable in my position.
Spring: The board of directors and constitution I tried to set up, feels right being a board, I don’t have absolute power like in VRA but I tried to create balance and a system where not one voice is all.
NTR: I believe it's very important for me to be on the BoD, since I often bring a different perspective into the equation, while remaining logical and humble. I'm bringing in both positive and negatives from my time as both admin and owner in VRA, and I will be using it to shape NOVA to be the best it can possibly be.
So many drivers have just got done with tryouts last weekend in brand new race cars. And former VRA/ISCR drivers (like myself) realize that these aren’t the cars that were used in both leagues respectively. Who had the idea of using Gen 4?
Crown: Spring was adamant about using Gen 4, there was a bit of a clash at the start between some people as we didn't have good enough of a mesh and Galaxel hated the twisted sisters [2006-2007] cars.
Bud: Spring initially proposed to use the Gen 4 cars for NOVA, I simply assured the meshes were up to standard from a game perspective. As long as were not running next gens, I don't really care.
Sven: The decision to run Gen 4 cars was made collectively by the Board of Directors. We all agreed that Gen 4 fits the direction Nova wants to take, but the original idea mainly came from Spring. That era of NASCAR is often seen as a peak period for the sport, with strong competition and cars that rewarded driver skill over anything else. Gen 4 reflects that philosophy well and makes a lot of sense for the league’s first season.
Gack: The idea to use Gen 4 cars came from spring who’s always loved them, but we didn’t decide to use them in d2 until pretty late in our development. Our d2 selection was between our current cars, 90s cup cars, or 05 trucks (which would’ve been pretty cool)
Spring: I think a couple of us wanted to use Gen 4, But I was the main leader of the idea.
Trobe: The decision to use Gen 4 cars stemmed from a discussion held during the very first stages of NOVA development built on a consensus from the BoD members.
Do you have extremely high hopes for this season? If so, what do you think will happen?
Crown: I have incredibly high hopes for this season, what will happen? Well, we'll find out soon after it all starts, i'm hoping for a close points battle though
Bud: I am confident that we will have a pretty good season. These cars have provided brilliant racing when people knew how to drive them. Season 1 will be competitive, seeing as we have some big names in roracing filling the D1 roster. I wouldn't leave anyone out, as with a full season points system anything can happen.
Sven: I do have high hopes for this season, but I’m also realistic. As with any first season, there will be things to learn and improve on. That said, I expect competitive racing, committed drivers, and a strong sense of community. If Nova comes out of this season with a clear identity and solid momentum, it will already be a success.
Spring: I don't know what will happen this season but I’m excited for it.
Galaxel It’s hard to tell how the first season will roll out, but based on tryouts, I think the broadcasting side will work out really nicely.
(EDIT AS OF 12/23/25): I asked crown a last minute question if he was going to bring back his VRA team (Kōimoishi Motorsports) and he confirmed that he was going to bring it back for NOVA.
Crown: bringing back
I asked Trobe More Questions So I can get more depth from him since he’s the former league owner of VRA.
5. Were you involved with the new nova league in anyway, like developing the cars?
Trobe: NOVA has adopted many development assets from ISCR, but also many from VRA, most of which I have been responsible for. So most of my fingerprints in NOVA will be from there, however I am still going to be helping out with certain projects within the league, and I have been present during the startup development of NOVA.
Do you plan to return to racing for nova?
Trobe: I do not have any current plans to return to full-time racing, as I am happily transitioned to the iRacing world, however I do have some plans for a part time return which will be unveiled once the time is right.
When the World Cup is over. What will happen to the old vra game and group?
Trobe: Following World Cup IV, the VRA assets on will primarily be moved to an archive, however there is still the possibility of it being used for other things.
We will also have nova rallycross. It’s a game that I am 100% unfamiliar with but what are your thoughts on that
Trobe: Nova Rallycross is built on the Verizon Rallycross concept which was cooked up during the final seasons of VRA. We already held an event during Easter earlier this year, and the product was positively received by the participants. It is actually the quickest series NOVA will have to offer, and races in short, action-filled heats, which means there are many chances to grab the glory during one of our events. The points accumulated during the first heats will decide who goes through to the main race, which is the feature of the event, and the winner of this race is crowned the event winner. Nova Rallycross is fast-paced and contact-based, and I hope people will be eager to participate in the series.
Old Drivers, New Drivers,
Possibly Retired Drivers Going Part Time Or Full Time.
Or saying that they’ll retire last season to going full time in this one.

The Verizon Racing Association and international Stock Car Racing (ISCR) has officially merged starting today, November 14th 2025
"We have been working on what’s next for VRA in the next year and beyond for several months now, and are proud to announce we are merging!" - Galaxel
"VRA is merging with ISCR! ISCR is another nascar focused league with its own great community. They have hinge steer chassis and their own unique and long history. The two servers will merge into a new common server with equal distribution of power with two owners, Spring and Elbud. The merger will give us more development ability, more staff, and overall a more refined process of management."
VRA as a server will stay. Most of our operations will move to the new server but VRA will remain sort of like a live archive. VRA’s history will move over to the new server as well and some of our traditions will too, the World Cup being one of those.
New life, new traditions! We will adopt of some of ISCR’s traditions as well as keeping some of our own.
The World Cup will remain as an annual event in the new server, and the last one ran by and in VRA will still occur this December.
New cars! We will have drastically different cars, using hinge steering and Gen 4 models. However, we hope to give you guys lots of testing time to adapt to the new cars.
Tryouts: We are having everyone, even drivers with licenses, to tryout one more time to redistribute the driver roster to create more equal divisions.
Teams: We’re going to open up team applications to everyone, if you want your already existing team to continue you have to apply and pass
Brand new series! Our merger will allow for us to branch outside of our two stock car divisions, so stay in tune for that!
VRA’s high standards will stay, and we will try to make the transition process as smooth as possible. This has been months in the making so we hope you enjoy! The server will open tomorrow at 1pm EST! And again, thank you all for being an amazing community
I asked spring earlier about how him and elbud met and how the idea came to today.
"We saw that both leagues could benefit from the merge, Crown introduced us to another and we’ve been working with one another for the past 3 and a half months."

This weekend marks an exciting time as both Cup and Fios drivers take to the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. In this article, I will share my predictions for the winners of both the Fios and Cup races.
Fios Series: Forza
Forza came really close last season. He Started on pole but lost to pancake. (pancake has since moved up to the cup series at MRI)
Forza has 4 wins alone this season and I feel like he can earn his 5th win.
Cup Series: Pancake
Pancake did really well as he's 9th in standings. No Wins This Season (yet)
1 Top 3's, 1 Top 5's and Two Poles and led 40 laps total throughout the season.
He did really well in the fios series and I'm 100% sure he can earn one win at indy. I could be wrong but we'll see. Just Let everything unfold in front of the drivers, the fans and everyone else in the vra.
That's all i have for today. I'll see you all at Indianapolis Motor Speedway!

There have been two great matchups so far. Let's see how this week at Phoenix Shakes up!
First, the updated points from last week are as follows:
Cup panel:
Will +5
Tawa +3
Spring 0
Verge 0
Fios panel:
Galaxel +5
Tawa +5
Spring +3
Will +2
Now Let's get straight into this week's matchups! For the Fios Series, we have Jinty vs Musashi. Jinty ended up in victory lane in the final race of season 6 and has picked up a top 5 finish this season. On the other hand, Musashi was more consistent throughout the season, but both drivers look to face off in this upcoming race as 1 point separates the two in the standings.
For the Cup Series, Viking and Crown would be the ones to watch as they battle it out around the track. Viking, most known for his popularity off track, aims to have a strong performance on Sunday's race. Crown aims to have a better performance compared to his previous races, and winning this matchup might be the first step for him. Either way, in both the Fios and the Cup Series, we should have a great battle between the respectable drivers going head-to-head!

A new set of Featured matchups are here for the Las Vegas weekend and new additions to the panelists too!
Before we get to the matchups the matchups will get an addition. The panelists will receive points for their matchup pick and win pick. For a correct matchup pick they will receive +3 points, and for a correct win pick they'll receive an additional +2 points.
After last week the points are as follows:
Cup panel:
Tawa +3
Spring 0
Will 0
Verge 0
Fios panel:
Galaxel +5
Tawa +3
Will +2
Spring 0
Onto the matchups! In the Fios Series we have Voidyy vs Vortex. The two rookies haven't shown up too much this season so far, outside of what was almost a top 5 run by Voidyy last week. They've trash talked off the track so we'll see what they can do on the track. For the panelists it's a bit of a wildcard choice for them here.
In the cup Series we have Litman_Nick vs Dino. The two drivers have won the past four Las Vegas races dating back to Las Vegas 2 in Season 4. Litman_Nick has won the past three races here, leading a total of 116 laps across his seven Las Vegas starts. Despite this Dino holds up his own records quite well. He has two podiums in 3 starts and has led 54 laps here. What was looking to be a podium in his first start here turned into a 10th place finish after a wreck within the final laps of his first Vegas start.
Both drivers are very strong here at Las Vegas so we should see a good matchup between the two. We'll see you at Las Vegas!

After a long-awaited return, Featured Matchups return for both series in VRA. Here's how they work, and what we're featuring for the Daytona Road Course weekend.
Each division will feature two drivers to compete against one another for the weekend. For this weekend, the Cup Series features Galaxel and Nint, while the Fios Series features Trini and rookie driver Affisiq.
Each Division will have a panel of four panelists. The panelists decide who they believe will finish higher above the other. For example, Tawa chose Galaxel to finish above Nint in the upcoming Gackyo Fitment 320. The panelists will also get to choose who they believe will win the race, in this scenario, Tawa chose Pancake to win the race at Daytona this weekend for the cup series. So his featured matchup pick is Galaxel, and his pick to win is Pancake.
Now onto the matchups themselves. In the Fios Series, we have Trini vs. Affisiq. Affisiq is a rookie but has already shown speed in tryouts on road courses, and has said that road courses are their expertise. Trini, now in his sophomore season has more to look at. Trini had finished on the podium 2/3 of the road courses he attended and finished 2nd in this race last season to Pancake.
In the Cup Series, we have Galaxel vs. Nint. The defending champion and Race winner, Nint is the favorite, with 3/4 of the panelists choosing him as their pick this weekend. Nint won 2/4 road courses last season in his championship run and led 34/35 of the laps in last season's race here at Daytona RC. Galaxel has a rough Daytona RC record but has shown speed at every other road course track. Galaxel has the most road course wins at 4, tied with Tawa, and Won Toronto and was in contention to win Sonoma last season.
All of these drivers are looking for their first win of the new season.

There was some buzz heading into season 6 with Cup Series champion, Litman_Nick, supposedly running a new team that was previously Neucom called "Hot_Rat Racing". But, with some controversy over the ownership of the team, the ownership was given to Toddy and Litman was prevented from having any power to the team. There was also the shutdown of BGX Racing at the end of season 6. BGX Racing was a Fios Series team that was being owned and led by former ASCA driver, Bandit, and seemed pretty consistent every race weekend. The team consisted of Bandit in the #1, Ventage in the #9, and temporarily had the rookie of Boseman in the #25. BGX Racing did win a race at Las Vegas with Bandit in dramatic fashion, but after a string of 0 point results, Bandit left VRA and the ownership was given to Ventage. After the end of season 6, BGX Racing officially closed it's doors and has now allowed an open team to make their VRA debut. Following the end of a successful season 6 for Hot_Rat Racing, Toddy has made the decision to rebrand the team and aims to continue it's run of success with the new name being "TurnsLeft Enterprises". The team owner, Toddy, has made it in known during an interview that he strives to bring the team to a Fios Series championship and bring in some new talent that could bring success in the Cup Series side of things. We are excited to see what Toddy and TurnsLeft Enterprises can do heading into season 7.

As we head into the 7th VRA season. We have some big names retiring from full-time racing. Season 7 is believed to be another great season and a fresh start for a lot of young drivers coming up, multi-year drivers in the Fios, or some drivers that are looking to improve themselves throughout their VRA career. But some drivers have announced that they will be hanging up the helmets for good and calling it a career. Some big names like Pyos, Raptorz, Antolol, and Tawa being the certain drivers that will not be returning to Cup racing in season 7. All of these names have a special place in the heart of VRA and will forever be remembered for the work they have done on and off the track.

The rule initially passed earlier in the year has been amended by a proposal from Spring Motorsports and MRI Racing Team.
The rule will lift restrictions on cars not being allowed to fight to stay on the lead lap. Blue flags will only be waved in the case that a driver is impeding the lead lap car or is slow enough to risk impeding. Failure to adhere to the blue flags will result in warnings and eventually a drive through penalty.
The rule will be imposed next week at the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The championship battle for the Fios Series has already been locked up by Pancake, but that doesn't mean we still can't have a brand-new winner!
We head over to Martinsville, which would be the only short track of this season, for the Hot Wheels 300. Trini collected his first ever VRA pole position for the start of the race. Once the green flag dropped, it seemed like the #29 was going to pull away and get his first win in VRA, but after an early caution, Pancake managed to find away around Trini after battling him for a few laps and took control of the race.
The #54 of Krabats was lingering throughout the whole race, but never actually took the lead during the race. In the last remaining pit cycles, Pancake was dominating but found himself getting 2 warnings for pit stall violations, which is driving through 3 or more pit stalls. Pancake was declared the unofficial winner for the race, with Krabats coming in 2nd, but after further review, a big discovery was made. Pancake was caught driving through more than 3 pit stalls during pit cycles more than the officials originally thought.
Pancake was given the penalty after the race, which resulted in Krabats collecting the win after leading a total of 0 laps throughout the whole race and being the first Colors Racing driver since Tawa's win subbing for Trobe at Dover last season.

Litman_Nick won his first crown jewel race, and 2nd race of the season at Charlotte after a late race strategy came into play.
Qualifying saw rookie driver, cklxzd capture his first pole over Galaxel with a 29.683, a new track record. Many drivers came into this race with meaning. Nint looked to tie the record for most wins with 4, and Pyos looked to finally conquer her home track after the 600 had slipped away from her so many times. Galaxel looked to end a 55-race winless streak and AJ looked to claim his first win at a track he'd been strong at. Finally, Litman_Nick looked for his first crown jewel win in the 600, where he's finished 3rd three times.
As the race started Ck was able to pull a gap ahead of the pack before his teammate, AJ, caught up to him and pulled a gap of his own. Ck was swallowed up by the pack as Pyos managed a comfortable gap in 2nd. Behind the both of them, however, Nint was making his way through the field after qualifying in 7th place. On lap 11 Nint caught pyos and now had to catch AJ 3 laps ahead for the lead. Within 10 laps Nint had caught up to AJ. For the next 10 laps, the two would battle for the lead, reminiscent of their early battle for the lead at Pocono.
The first wave of pits began when Nint pitted on lap 32. Both the #48 and #26 were speeding into the pits, having to serve time penalties on pit road. Both of their mistakes allowed Galaxel to catch up to the battle for the lead where he led for a few laps. By lap 50 Nint had caught back up to the leaders and easily passed for the lead where he proceeded to pull away. The 2nd pit cycle went underway with little issues, with some differing strategies showing with Pyos staying out around 3 laps longer than the others. AJ during this stint also faced engine issues and had to park it for the rest of the race. The Race saw two more pit cycles, and as the race continued green the drivers focused more on strategy to catch up or win rather than pure pace.
With 38 laps to go what was presumed to be the final pit cycle went underway, Nint pitted from the lead as Nebulon pitted from 6th. Litman_Nick would pit the next lap, with Ck staying out 5 more laps with Pyos. Nint cycle out back to the lead with Litman 10 seconds behind with 30 to go. A change of pace occurred as Nint, who had consistently held a gap of 10-12 seconds over 2nd had shrank to just five seconds in five laps. And within the next two laps, the gap had shrunk to 3.5 seconds. With 17 laps to go Litman_Nick had cut down the gap to 2.4 seconds. Questions were then raised as to whether Nint could make it to the end of the race as some pointed out that he was saving everywhere on track where he could. With 9 laps to go Litman had cut down the lead to 1.4 seconds, and with 8 down to under a second. On that same lap, Nint made significant contact with the wall off of turn 4, enough for Litman to capitalize off of and swipe the lead away with 7 to go. From there Nint pulled into the pits again where he faced yet another speeding penalty.
With Ck 7 seconds behind, Litman Nick just had to save enough tire to make it to the end of the race, which he did, blowing his tire on the cooldown lap after winning the race.
"So quickly has his day just collapsed," Musashi said in the booth after Nint's last speeding penalty. The #48 would finish p4 after leading a record 98 laps. AJ would be another driver who lost a significant chance at the win after leading 35 of 71 laps before his race ended.
Litman_Nick's win is the first crown jewel of his career and a nice one after his win was revoked in a controversial finish to the Verizon 500.

Following mulitple weeks of lapped car issues, team owners Will and Toddy proposed new lapped car rules to the two series of VRA.
The lapped car issues began at Darlington in the Fios Series when Fanatec-Vodafone drivers Wicked and Jilkopi wrecking the race leader Forza on the final lap, nearly costing him the race win. The two drivers were disqualified from the race with points voided, and it was announced further actions like the incident at Darlington would result in a suspension.
The following week at Pocono Raceway, lapped car issues were seen again with AJCAdr in the Cup Series. Nearly everyone participating in the Cup race at Pocono were calling for a penalty on AJ, Antolol was even calling for a suspension. The #26 would not be penalized however, the driver did not cause any incidents or wreck lead lap cars and simply was a nuisance to the lead lap drivers.
Fast forward yet another week to Chicagoland, and the Fios Series saw a multi-car pileup late race allegedly caused by a rookie Koimoshi Motorsports driver 8 laps down. Multiple drivers called for harsher penalties for the driver than a simple "to-the-back" penalty, arguing it wasn't anything considering he was already 8 laps down. After this incident Will and Toddy decided it was enough and called for a team owner vote to change the lapped car rules arguing that drivers were abusing their ability to race for their lap and the lead lap cars.
Reports stated that the team owners were split on the decision. Team owners like Crown for Koimoshi Motorsports argued that the new rules would hinder pit cycles. Other owners like Galaxel and Spring argued that the new rule should give an exception to drivers fighting to stay on the lead lap. The vote was 50/50 going into the Cup race at Chicagoland, but after further incidents regarding lapped cars at the end of the race, the vote turned 5-4. The new system won majority of the team votes as per the rules and is now implemented for both series.
The vote changes how section 2.1.2 in the rulebook is worded regarding lapped cars. The new rules create an expectation for lapped cars and cars not fighting for position to give way for other drivers, and if the drivers do not give way, they'll be given the blue flag. The blue flag also changes from a "suggestion" to a requirement for drivers on track.

Nint secured his 3rd career win, and 3rd of the season after surviving a 3-way battle at the end of the Smithcom 400 at Chicagoland, while controversy and fights hit the track.
Nint's dominant rookie season continues as he wins his 3rd race of the season. Nint was the only of three cars in the fight for the win, the two others being AJCAdr and Litman_Nick, who faced their own issues in this race.
Nint won his 2nd consecutive pole this season with a 29.483. Behind him was AJCAdr and Pyos, last week's winner. Nint would lead the beginning couple of laps before an early caution would bring him and most of the field into the pits. AJ would stay out to take the lead and Nint would start 3rd behind Viking. AJ would lead several laps before Nint would pass him for the race lead again. A caution would bunch the field back together again.
Pyos would find herself in the battle for the lead with AJ and Nint before falling back to 5th after several laps of racing. Up front AJ and Nint raced for the lead. The two drivers have a complicated history, as they were fierce rivals in the Fios Series. Now, they battle for a Cup Series win. For the next 20 laps, the two would fight for the lead before pit cycles began. After their pits, and a couple of other cars staying out trying to capitalize on a caution or get lap-led bonus points, the #26 and #48 would return to battling for the lead. Around lap 75, 20 laps since their pit stop, their battling would draw in Litman_Nick. The battle for the win would turn into a 3-horse race. Around the same time, however, reports from Litman_Nick's radio raised concerns about battery or power in the car. This wouldn't stop him as the laps winded down and another cycle of pits began. With 20 laps to go, and after the pit cycle, AJ would work a decent lead over Nint, as Litman_Nick fell behind with car troubles.
Antolol, who just last week was calling for the suspension of AJCAdr, found himself in the lead after being the last car to not pit. Once Antolol found AJ behind him, Antolol did what he could to prevent the #26 from passing him. Antolol would block the him to the apron and AJ would spin out in the process handing the lead over to Nint. Five laps later, Litman's car would give in forcing him to retire from the race, and Nint would win at Chicagoland uncontested.
"Karma" was what Antolol said about the incident with 20 to go with AJ, prompting the stewards to park him for the rest of the race. AJ and Antolol fought for much of the race at Pocono last week, especially as AJ was a lapped car. AJ did not receive any penalty for "impeding" drivers at Pocono to the dismay of many. Antolol decided to take justice into his own hands, causing that incident with the #26.
Antolol's incident was not the only controversy of the race, as post-race we saw a heated altercation between Dino and Crown, who himself was racing his first cup race of the season. "Crown, what the f*** was that!?! What was that Crown, that was f***ing bullshit, what are you f***ing doing!?!" The two made contact out of turn 2 with 3 laps to go, as the lapped car Crown squeezed Dino into the wall. Dino said the incident was just enough to slow him down, as AJ caught up to him coming to the white to take 2nd place. Crown apologized, but Dino continued to call for official action against the team owner.
The drama continues as rivalries continue to heat up. Nint comes out of Chicagoland with a 47-point lead after a max points day. Nint's closest competitor, Litman_Nick had a DNF for the first time since season 4 really boosted Nint's point lead. Next week onto Charlotte for the 5th Running of the 600.

Forza extends his winning streak at Chicagoland Speedway to three wins in succession, the first time since Dino in season 3! Forza looked like the fastest on track for most of the race, before late cautions restarted his progress, but Forza still managed to clinch victory.
Forza will also jump several positions in the championship with his win, as several championship rivals ahead of him failed to show up for the race.
It was Musashi who looked confident on pole position with a 29.650 and in second place Jinty, who’s return to the Fios series has seen good fortune for the struggling SmithSport Fios team. Behind them was Trini, who looked to place highly once more after being runner up from last week.
On the start, the top three would remain level, with the number 1 car Bandit making his way into third position. A caution on lap 3 however would shake up the pack after the restart on lap 8 as Musashi fell back to third position and later on lap 11, he would fall to eighth. A caution once again on lap 12 was called after Jilkopi in the 26 could not avoid the spinning Forza in the 5 car.
This time, most of the field went to pit road, to which Bandit came out first. It was the 51 of Verge and the 54 of Krabats who stayed out, the former leading the race until a technical issue parked him for most of the race on lap 27. This put Forza into the lead, one he would hold for the majority of the race, seeing little competition from drivers behind like Musashi who had reclimbed from the earlier spin. By lap 50 the pit window had opened, and most drivers went to change tyres and refuel, but not seeing many position changes.
With 22 laps to go, the 24 of Wicked would collide with Toddy in the 94. This incident brought out the caution, undoing all of Forza’s work. The leading pack would stay out and on the restart, Forza would pull away from a pack ensuing going three wide multiple times. But with 12 laps to go, another caution was called.
his time, newcomer in the 11, Freespyder had caused a multi-car wreck whilst being several laps down, much to the dismay of many like Bandit who openly called for the 11’s disqualification. When pits opened only Jinty came in who later drove his way back to fourth place, like his teammate Verge, who rejoined the previous caution and was now up to third place on the restart with 8 laps left. Toddy would defend against Verge and Jinty, the latter being walled into 6th, letting Forza pull away once more and take victory. Verge finished second place, the highest of this season and for his team after getting by Toddy.

After going 32 races without a win, Pyos snaps the streak at Pocono Raceway, conserving enough fuel and tires to make it to the finish! As the laps winded down, drivers were forced their hand to pit low on fuel and tires. Pyos was not one of them, staying out and saving enough to secure victory.
Pyos's win ends a streak of 32 races going back to the Season 4 Cook Out 400 at Martinsville. The race also ended SmithSport's streak of 6 podiums going back to Homestead Season 5.
Nint qualified on the pole with a 47.383, another track record for the Cup Series. Behind him was his teammate Dino. The two qualifying up front caused many to believe we'd see another SmithSport blowout victory.
On lap one Nint would quickly lose the lead out of turn 1, allowing Antolol to lead his first laps of the season. A caution on lap 3 would end his small stint in the lead, and after pitting and going green for a few laps Nint cycled back to the lead. Nint would hold the lead strong for the next 20 laps.
A caution on lap 39 would change everything. Litman_Nick and Dino would crash on the front stretch, resulting in a TTB penalty for the #29. The drivers all pit for fresh tires and fuel for the last 23 laps of the race. Nint would line up in first with Dino in tow. The two SmithSport drivers would get tangled in one another causing them both to go wide and allow Pyos to go to the lead. Nint wouldn't let another dominant race win go so easily as the driver battled back up to the lead with Pyos. The two would battle for the lead for the next 10 laps before drivers behind began to pit, not expected to make it to the end of the race with their fuel and tires they put on on the last caution. With 5 laps to go Nint brought it into pit road. The booth and other drivers expected Pyos to have to come in to pit as well, but she never did. After an excellent show of strategy, Pyos snapped her winless streak with a 15-second victory at Pocono.
Litman_Nick and Jellyfan were the other two drivers who decided to save till the end of the race, both of them finished 2-3 respectively. Both drivers stated both races that since they were so far back, they'd gamble on the strategy to try and salvage position. As shown by their results it worked out well for them.
Commentators and drivers alike called for a harsher penalty on Litman_Nick for the crash with Dino on lap 39. We asked him about the incident post-race, and he had this to say:
"Dino just seems that he can't drive the car ... He doesn't take accountability when it comes to that; he's driving the car [sliding up the track] and he's blaming someone else on it ... He doesn't expect retaliation. If you do anything back to him, he will scream and cry and throw a tantrum." Off the track, Dino requested the disqualification of the #29 post-race.
Another Driver that had competitors requesting for a disqualification was the #26 of AJCAdr. After a failed pit entry on lap 19, AJ would fall 32 seconds back of the leader. Once he did pit he was a lap down ahead of 2nd place. During his time there he would have multiple incidents with the drivers on the lead lap as explained by Litman_Nick here: "He tried pitting from the outside, no announcement or nothing ... I think the 26 should be given some sort of race ban or penalty, as every single person has a problem with him today."
"Very, very relieved" were Pyos's first words in the C-sports post-race interview with her. Pyos also said it had made up for her heartbreaking loss at Sonoma Raceway earlier this season. We also asked Pyos about racing with Nint in the final few laps, considering the banter and the conflict the two have had throughout the season. "We both race each other with respect, and there was no frustration between us. I'm not trying to be friends with anyone in this league, I'm simply here because I love racing. At the same time, I don't want to be on bad terms with anybody and I think we've buried the hatchet on that."
Nint's 4th place finish ends his 4-race streak of podium finishes. Nint won the pole and led 44 laps on the day only to come up short, "I Could've won." a short statement by Nint that definitely got the message across. A dominant day and chance at a win "all went away because of that caution [Lap 39]."
Nint continues to hold the points lead, now only 18 points over Litman_Nick, as Pyos jumps into 4th, peeking at that top 3 hoping to join the battle for the points lead for a chance at her first title.

Forza goes back-to-back winning at Pocono after passing Toxic and holding off Trini and Pancake. What seemed to be an easy victory for Toxic turned into a 4-car dogfight for the win in the closing laps.
Forza's win is the second of this season, as he joins Pancake as the two drivers with multiple wins. He is the first driver to go back-to-back in the Fios Series since Crown in season 4. He is also the first rookie to win at Pocono.
Toxic qualified on pole with a 48.592, a new Fios Series track record. On lap 1, the lead was already being contested as Jinty led the first lap. The top three, Forza, Toxic, and Jinty, had all pulled a gap on the field. On lap 2, however, Toxic managed to pull away from the two to a 1.2-second lead.
With 25 laps completed, Toxic still ran out front holding a steady 2-second gap ahead. This same lap, the pit cycle went underway, and after its completion, Toxic had pulled a 2.5-second lead. The drivers behind him however pit later and had fresher tires. The next lap Forza cut down his lead to 1.5 seconds, then just half a second the next lap. Forza was reeling him in, and Toxic was feeling the pressure. A mistake by Toxic on lap 32 allowed Forza to take the lead, but Toxic wouldn't let the lead go so easily. The two battled hard the following two laps, allowing the #29 of Trini to get into view. The three of them fighting for the lead let Pancake catch up too, making it a 4-way fight. Pancake had worked his way into 2nd behind Forza. The battle for the 2nd position between Pancake and Toxic would allow Forza to pull a gap from them, and eventually win the race weaving his way through lapped cars.
"Right now, my main focus is to gain on Pancake for that points lead" Forza stated post-race. Forza has accumulated 66 points in the past 2 races, cutting his gap down to Pancake from 84 to 61, gaining 14 positions in the standings. Still, has a way to go, but we're only halfway through the season.
Toxic dominated most of the day winning pole, leading 31 laps, and yet came out 3rd. "Mad at myself, could have done better." Toxic also spoke on how as Pancake passed him, he ended up slowing him up feeling like the faster car. Toxic felt the pressure the last few laps. "Best race of his career I'd argue, we've got more opportunities down the line.", said Toxic's team owner, Spring, post-race as well.
Toxic now moves up to 2nd, 29 points behind Pancake. Trini also gets another podium, his 3rd of the season. Krabats, and Toddy both DNF this race. Krabats continues to battle car issues as he just hopes to finish a race this season, and Toddy running out of fuel with two laps to go. Ventage also faced car troubles this race, finishing 15 laps down after a fuel cell leak relegated him to the garage.

Nint wins at Sonoma and becomes the first multi-time winner this season after beating Pyos and Galaxel. Sonoma saw compelling pit strategy, skillful on-track battles, and many mishaps and misfortune.
In qualifying the series saw the first edition of group qualifying since Talladega Season 3. AJCAdr came out with pole setting a new track record, a 1:19.546 lap time. Nint qualified 4th and Pyos 6th.
Quickly as the race started, everyone ran for positions, taking every spot they could take. Nint would find his way to 1st with last week's winner Litman_Nick behind. For the first 10 laps of the race, Nick and Nint swapped the lead 4 times before Litman_Nick came to pit. Nint was then chased down by Galaxel before he also pit.
By lap 20 of 44, two strategies emerged, Nint, Pyos, and Dino leading a one-stop strategy, followed by Ck and AJ, and then a two-stop strategy led by Galaxel, and followed by the rest of the field. Pyos and Nint fought for the lead, Pyos hoping that today be the day she would end her 30-race winless streak. The two pit and Galaxel came out to the lead, "I needed to start pushing, to trying to pull a huge gap on them." Galaxel said post-race discussing the strategy. However when it came his time to pit the driver of the #8 was caught speeding, ending any good chance he had to fight for his 9th win. From there it was a dogfight to the finish, Pyos vs. Nint the final 14 laps. The two traded the lead many times, Hard to tell who was truly the fastest car, as it was more of a battle for consistency. With 6 to go Pyos began to face mechanical issues with her car, dropping 10 seconds back from Nint in the FedEx Camry. As Pyos struggled behind Nint cruised the final laps to victory to capture his second win.
"I don't know how I pulled these wins off at these road courses," Nint said after being asked about his second win of the season. Impressed by his own ability to beat all-time great drivers at the track. Nint now takes the lead in the standings, as SmithSport continues its hot streak of podium finishes.
Pyos finishes runner-up, her first podium of the season and her best finish since Homestead season 4. "This one hurt, this one hurt a lot," Pyos said regarding her runner-up finish. Pyos continues to show speed this season and now has some results to back that speed up. "A lot of coulda, woulda, shoulda."
Galaxel would round out your podium managing a 3rd place finish, despite the issues on pit road, beating drivers like AJ and Ck for that last podium spot in the final few laps. "It's my highest finish of the season and I'm still not happy with it." Arguably the fastest car on track all race, Galaxel had marked Sonoma as the race to break his streak, upset to not see it come to fruition.
Nint pulls off his second win of the season to be the first multi-win driver of the season beating out Pyos and Galaxel, as the two veterans continue to search for a win this season.

The Fios Series took on the challenging Sonoma Raceway, and it was a race to remember—especially for Pancake. The #69 driver put on a clinic, setting a new track record in qualifying before leading every single lap en route to a commanding 36-second victory.
Pancake’s dominance began before the green flag even waved, as he stormed to pole position with a blistering lap that set a new division record. At the start, he quickly established himself at the front, while the rest of the field jostled for position on the technical course. Bandit and Griff emerged as the closest challengers, holding steady in second and third place, but neither had the pace to match Pancake’s relentless speed.
While Pancake checked out up front, the mid-pack battles provided plenty of excitement. Toxic, Bwoah, and Jil found themselves in a tight fight for fourth, while Revel and Bozeman traded places in the midfield. Unfortunately, the tricky nature of Sonoma claimed multiple victims. Krabats, Musashi, Verge, and Jaybar all failed to finish, adding a layer of unpredictability to the race.
As the checkered flag waved, Pancake crossed the line with a 36-second gap to Bandit in second, with Griff rounding out the podium. Toxic and Bwoah completed the top five.
With this dominant performance, Pancake extends his championship lead, now sitting at 67 points, 25 points ahead of Bandit in second. Meanwhile, Trini and Toxic remain in the mix as the season progresses. Next up, the Fios Series heads to Darlington, where drivers will have another shot at closing the gap on Pancake’s incredible form.

After taking control of second half of the race, Bandit managed to hold off Pancake to secure his first VRA victory at Las Vegas
Bandit qualified for the race in 11th behind Tony and ahead of last week's winner, Pancake. following an early wreck and caution, Bandit got up to the lead by lap 15. Before Bandit had found his way to the lead Jaybar and Griffin held control of the race. during pit cycles Bandit was flawless, and had been able to hold the lead consistenly ahead of Griffin and Pancake. Late race, Griffin would have his podium hopes ended with a track bump. In the final cycle of pits, Trini took fuel only taking the lead from Bandit. Trini's time in the lead would be cut short after he also hit a track bump. Bandit's worries were not over yet, as Pancake had closed the gap to him, managing to get beside him, but not complete the pass. With two laps left in the race, Pancake would be held up by a lapped car, letting Bandit pull away just enough to win.
"If you knew what you were supposed to do you were very fast, but not a lot of people did" was Bandit's statement post-race. Like other winners before him, Bandit believes his win will help build a possible run for the championship.
we saw 3 DNFs and 3 DNQs this race, Ventage, Bwoah, and Revel all failed to qualify. Ventage's ride may be in jeopardy as his team owner went onto win the race and talk of replacing the driver of the #9. Verge, Krabats, and Dreggsome all did not finish the race, as Verge and Krabats again victims to Technical and Mechanical difficulties, as Verge's transition to SmithSport continues to be rocky. Forza finished 15 laps down after facing multiple issues of his own, making two garage visits mid race.
Next week we go to northern California on the windy roads of Sonoma.

Nint scored his first VRA Cup Series at Daytona Road Course, leading 34 of 35 laps and winning by 8.132 seconds over his teammate, Dino.
Nint qualified 7th behind cklxzd while his teammate Dino started on pole. Within the first lap, Nint worked himself through the field up to 3rd. The next lap Nint made his way past Pyos to Dino. Dino heading into the bus stop made a mistake, and Nint was there to capitalize. There Nint passed Dino and never looked back. Nint had some close calls in the later part of the race, as Dino and Litman made a good charge to try and catch the #48, but it wasn't enough as Nint won over Dino by 8.132 seconds.
Nint won in only his 10th start, the least amount of starts before a driver's first win since Trainwreck won in his 3rd start in season 2. Now after winning his first race, Nint aims for a championship.
In the final 10 laps, Dino had been able to close to a gap of about 2 seconds before falling back once again. The Verizon 500 winner had this to say about it; "I knew I could have been up there, I guess it wasn't meant to be". Mistakes in the final few laps and getting caught up with lapped cars ended his race for the win. The fastest car on track was just not as consistent as his teammate in the #48. Dino looks forward to Las Vegas as a chance for his second win of the season.
The Daytona RC was the first race since the Season 5 Verizon 500 to not see Litman_Nick or Tawa sit on the podium. And it also saw the end of Litman_Nick's podium streak at eight. AJCAdr got his first podium of the season, and cklxzd got a career-high finish of 5th.
Pyos qualified 2nd for the Race but finished 9th following an alternative strategy call. Despite the not-great finishes to start the season, Pyos has shown good speed. "The same kind of case of where I clearly have speed, but I just fail to put it together for one reason or another". We highly recommend watching the full interview on C-Sports' broadcast of the race.
After Nint's win, he jumped to 2nd place behind his teammate Dino, who now has a 12-point lead over him. Nick sits 14 points behind Dino in 3rd. Championship favorites are already beginning to show early in the season, as we'll see who else can put themselves under that label in Las Vegas next weekend.

Pancake won the DSpark 252 at Daytona Road Course after leading the majority of the race, overcoming mishap and driving a flawless final few laps.
On the closing laps, Pancake was able to pull away from Trini in the #29 Koimoshi Ford for his first VRA win. His win marks the first for Team Blitzed in either VRA Division, and the first for a Mexican driver in Fios since Spring's Season 1 Big Beer 350 win.
With a 4-to-go restart, Pancake was lined up in 7th after a mishap on pit road. As soon as the race went green Pancake immediately started to make ground on the leaders. Heading into turn 2, Pancake was already up to 4th, And into turn 6 Pancake capitalized on the top three battling by passing them all in one corner. In the next three laps, Pancake held the lead, but Trini gave him a run for his money, being able to hold a steady gap behind ready to capitalize on any mistake by Pancake. However, there was nothing he could do, as Pancake drove a flawless final few laps to seal his first win.
Despite the runner-up finish, Trini was very happy with how his race went. "Exceeded my expectations, I was aiming for a top 5 at most, so a podium is tremendous", Trini said when asked about his thoughts on his performance. Trini's runner-up finish is the best of his young career.
Toxic was arguably the second-best car all day, managing to hold second place behind Pancake all race. Unfortunately for the 2-time Big Beer 350 runner-upper, he ran out of fuel with 8 laps to go, ending his race early.
Following the race at Daytona, Pancake was able to jump all of his competitors to take the points lead off a tiebreaker with Jaybar. Jaybar has finished 4th & 3rd in both races, a strong start to his season. Koimoshi also takes the teams point lead by 15 points.

This season's Big Beer 350 saw 16 drivers attempt to qualify for the race. Trustful would win the pole for MRI and we would go green for 56 laps of racing at Daytona! The race would see numerous incidents, with a crash bringing out the caution already on lap 1. After 6 cautions within the first half of the race, Forza and Bandit pulled through as favorites to win the race. Despite being shuffled out of the lead during pit stops and race, the two drivers constantly found each other up front, leading a combined 22 laps.
With 10 to go, the top three wrecked from the lead, bringing out the caution for the 8th time. After the pit cycle and re-order, Bandit and Forza found themselves back into the lead, one behind the other with a comfortable gap as the race went green. Another caution period soon emerged, and the field was back on their bumpers. With a restart at 4 laps to go, Forza and Bandit would make contact into the wall, sending them both spinning out from the lead, and ending both of their hopes of a win.
The race was to restart with 2 to go after the restart. Musashi would lead the Koimoshi teammates, Trini and Crown, who had Toddy, Jaybar, and Wicked behind them. In turn 4, coming to the white, the Koimoshi teammates attempted a move to the outside, while Jaybar and Wicked tried a move to the inside. Musashi would lead them to the white, as they went 3-wide over the trioval. Unfortunately for them, this would not work out, as Musashi wrecked heading into turn 1 as Wicked came out with the lead, Jaybar and Toddy side by side down the back. It seemed as if all was done, with Wicked going to the lead, while the rest would battle for 2nd. However, Toxic would at the last second give Toddy just the push he needed in Turn 4 to squeeze down to the inside of Wicked, and win his first VRA Fios Series race. Toxic would finish 2nd after a 2-season hiatus.
"The middle line was open so I was able to book in through there", was Toddy's statement on the final lap move where he went from 6th to 2nd. The win would be Toddy's first and the team's 3rd in the past 4 races, further hardening themselves as serious race-to-race contenders.

We've been through a roller coaster of drama with the silly season, off-season changes to the league, and much more! Season 6 has been shaping up to be one of the most entertaining seasons with some new brake n' turn car setups, but VRA has been struck down with another hiccup, causing the delay. Instead of wasting this day of opportunity, Spring has declared a testing period while all the problems get fixed up and ready for the start of season 6 next weekend. We luckily got some live reaction from Spring and got to hear what his opinion on the situation is, and he told us "Although its unfortunate, we want to give our drivers and fans the best racing product without issues. Harassing our development is not the solution, and even though we do have issues, it is not right for the members to put all of the blame on him, we are resolving and will be testing this weekend for the start of the season next week". He also added that this delay would provide more opportunity for the teams and drivers to get ready for the season ahead of them. This concludes our live coverage of the situation VRA is currently going through and let the developers do their work as we wait for the upcoming season!

We have already received some massive news regarding the silly season, like Litman going back to MRI, but the silly season has not ended yet as driver signings still happen. First up on the list, we have Un-Famous updating their Cup roster by getting Trainwreck, who is making his return to VRA. Koimoshi Motorsports enters this season with an entire field of rookies for the Cup Series with AJ coming from the Fios Series, CK and Robloxian from this season's tryouts. We also have Hot Rat Racing picking up Forzablade, who looked like one of the best drivers during each tryout session and a strong rookie of the year candidate. Jelly, who was also a strong driver during tryouts, is starting his career off at Spring Motorsports in the Cup Series in the #57. Colors Racing lands with CanooTR after seeing his impressive tryout performances and signs him to the #7 in the Fios Series for the start of his career. MRI sets up some of their D2 team with Olafs in the #88 and Trustfulnoob to the #15. This has been the update on the VRA season 6 silly season and we'll see the outcomes of each of these drivers' move in only 12 days time.

Now into the final day of tryouts for VRA season 6, let's go over who ended out on top. We have the final day of tryouts at Darlington where we saw absolute domination by Forzablade, even with extremely late cautions and an overtime, Forza still managed to come out with the victory at Darlington. With that, tryouts have been officially concluded and VRA season 6 will finally kick-off with the Big Beer 350 at Daytona on c-sports 13 days from now!

We kick off tonight's silly season chaos with Antolol announcing the team will he drive for in his final full-time Cup Series season. The team that has signed him for season 6 will be the brand-new Hot Rat Racing, formerly Neucom, owned by Toddy. Antolol stated that he would use his new junior program, Antolol's Driver Academy, to support other teams such as Amica Racing and possibly more in the future. He also made it clear that his famous sponsor-driver duo with Red Bull, would make the move to HRR as well. This switch already makes HRR look like title contenders in only their debut season... Could they possibly have Antolol get the championship in his final season? We'll find out only with time.

We kick off the second round of tryouts at Indianapolis where we saw Trainwreck7 dominate the race and getting a 10 second gap between him and 2nd place for a moment. A competition caution was thrown to trigger overtime, but that did not scare Trainwreck at all, since he still managed to win with a near 2 second gap. That concludes our VRA Season 6 Tryouts Day 2, and we'll see you next weekend!

tIf the VRA silly season was already wild, consider this the moment it officially spiraled into absolute chaos! We are having an extremely late Christmas here with these massive silly season announcements for VRA season 6! First, we had Raptorz going to SMS, then Antolol leaving SMS and his full-time retirement at the end of the season, and now we have MRI saying, "Hold my beer" with possibly the biggest announcement yet. The owner of MRI, Viking, has revealed in his video, 'MRI Cup lineup next season', that the defending champion, Litman_Nick, will be returning to the team that first signed him into the Cup Series, reuniting with Viking for VRA season 6 and that Nebulon would also be racing under the MRI banner for season 6. When asked about these moves, Viking told the media, "I was told by a member of staff, that I will not name, that MRI could be on the chopping block if we dont improve. I dont know how real the threat was but you can thank that guy for me pushing for two big signings in the off-season and we got the two guys we wanted. I've raced with both of these guys in the past, Neb a long time ago in ESCL season 1 and Litman_Nick more recently. It's like I've brought together the 3 best MRI drivers of all time for an MRI dream team and I think if it goes well we might just make a run at the championship". This team could go from being a joke to many, to becoming championship contenders this upcoming season. We are all on the edge of our seats for this upcoming season as it is shaking up to be the most twisted one yet!

Tonight has been seeming to be the biggest night for the drivers to announce their shocking moves heading into VRA season 6 as the big news keeps on rolling in. Not long after we had Raptorz announcing that he will be driving for Spring Motorsports for VRA season 6, we might have possibly gotten the question of why Spring accepted Raptorz, as Antolol, who has been driving for SMS for four seasons, has just announced that he is leaving Spring Motorsports in season 6. He also made a remark that season 6 will be his final season of full-time racing in the Cup Series for VRA. Even though Antolol never came home with a cup championship, he still had a pretty good career overall and will leave behind lots of memories in VRA. Antolol had an amazing time throughout his career at SMS, he said. He also stated that some teams are on his radar, such as Colors Racing, who won the Fios Series Driver's Championship with NTR, Amica, who Antolol won the Season 1 Fios Championship with, and one other team. At the same time, Antolol confirmed that his old team, known as Marlboro Academy, will be returning under the name of Antolol's Driver Academy for season 6. Will Spring Motorsports ever be the same? Could Antolol possibly take him the title in his final season? We aren't sure, but we will keep a close eye out as season 6 goes on.

Just as we thought the silly season couldn't get any better, we get this bombshell of an announcement as Raptorz has officially announced that he won't be returning to Un-Famous Racing for VRA season 6 but will instead be racing under the Spring Motorsports Ford banner. On the very same day, reigning VRA Season 5 Division 1 Champion Litman_Nick decided to put his money where his championship trophy is. In a bold move, he’s buying out Neucom Racing and transforming it into the cheekily named Hot Rat Racing for Season 6. Two massive announcements in one day? Someone pass the popcorn, because this is turning into reality TV gold... Is this the beginning of the end for Un-Famous? Does the SMS D1 lineup have other plans, which caused Spring to make this move? We'll soon have all our questions answered, but one thing’s for sure: Season 6 is going to be an absolute banger. Buckle up, folks—this ride’s about to get even crazier!

The long-awaited VRA world cup kicked off today with two regional heats, and here's the highlights...
Heat 1
The "European" heat, this race started off as anyone's game. With only one caution, one would think this to be an incredibly clean race, but you'd be dead wrong. Cars flipped, the people begged for cautions, but the stewards refused on the basis of having not seen it in a display of myopia not seen since the days of ESCL. After 30 laps of pure travesty, Viking was thrashed by lapped driver Pancake at the very last second, leading Antolol to seemingly take home the victory for Spain - or at least, that's how it seemed. Following the race, Antolol would receive a 1 position penalty, giving the victory to Dark.
Heat 2
Supposedly the "North American" heat (despite containing various non-American teams), this hyped-up heat drew far more attention from drivers and spectators alike. With too many cautions to count, the New Jersey driver leaving mid-way through the race, and a P1 position that couldn't stay in any one driver's hands for more than a few laps, this chaotic heat created the perfect environment for Nebraska driver Litman_Nick to pull through and take the win.

After 3 months of absence, the website news page returns, with much to cover. Following a historically dominant season by Litman_Nick in the cup series, and a nail-biting finale for the Fios series, the 5th season of VRA has come to a close. During the off-season, the league ownership was transferred to spring, who has made major changes. The First of the changes is the championship format. The Chase for the Cup has been the format since season 2, where at the end of the regular season, the top 8 in points would have their points reset to battle it out in the final 7 races. Season 6 would be the first since season 1 to be without the system. Instead, the championship will be decided by a season-long points battle till the end.
Speaking of points, a new point has been created, changing how drivers approach each race with strategy and finishing position. The old system featured stage racing, where at the 25% and 50% marks of the race, bonus points were awarded to high-positioned drivers. The new system will not reward finishing position much over race-long points scored, putting that importance on being there in the end.
The end of season 5 also saw the ending of three VRA teams. These teams are Eclipse Motorsports, Epsilon Motorsport, and Manta Motorsports.
The 3rd Annual World Cup, the 2024 World Cup is here. So far the Groups, and format for this year's World Cup are still yet to be released, but here is what we do know. 19 teams are confirmed to participate in this year's World Cup, the most ever, and the beginning of the World Cup racing will be on December 26.
More World Cup news will be released as more info is released, that should be all for today's league update

One week remains until the chase following our race at Talladega & Rockingham, here are the winners & losers from week 7 of season 5
Winner: Dino
After a DNQ & p6 finish last week, Dino has recovered nicely with a double podium. At Talladega Substitue Fox managed a 2nd place finish behind Tawa, and Dino took advantage of overtime to salvage what would have been a p6-p8 day at Rockingham.
Loser: Viking
Going into Week 7, Viking had been sitting in position to qualify for the chase, but after Talladega Galaxel shuffled him out. In response Viking got a substitue for Rockingham. It proved to be a disastrous, getting disqualified and falling to p12 in the standings.
Winner: Spring Motorsports
back-to-back on the winners board. Not a weekend sweep but a solid performance, Litman_Nick sits comfortably in p1, as does Antolol in p3. After a top 5 from Murilo at Rockingham he moves up p10, tied for the final chase spot.
Loser: Neucom inc.
At Talladega Pyos only managed a p8, as Nebulon fell to p9. Rockingham had looked promising for the driver of the 41 as she was looking for her possible first win of the season, Unfortunately for her a late-race caution would end her race early.
Winner: Nint
Driving in the part-time 97 car for Koimoshi Motorsports, Nint proved himself as an up and coming driver for the Cup Series, sweeping both stages at rockingham and leading most laps, like Pyos the late-race caution would ruin his chances at a win.
Despite not winning, Nint came away from Rockingham earning 15 points for Koimoshi Motorsports with a p6 finish.
Loser: Crown
Crown has seem to lost that edge he had mid-season. After a mediocre week at Pocono and New Hampshire Crown looked to do better at Talladega and Rockingham, unfortunately crown wouldn't be a threat to win either race, and finished p7 both races.
Within the past two weeks crown has dropped from p3 to p5

After a season without the Winners & Losers articles, they will return after a visit to Pocono & New Hampshire up north.
Winner: Tawa
A bitter-sweet weekend for Tawa, getting p2 at pocono, and New Hampshire, along with a p2 in the Fios New Hampshire race. Despite no wins, Tawa earned a total of 38 points this weekend, tying with the most of any driver
Loser: Park3r
After qualifying p4 for pocono, things were looking good for the sophomore driver. Park3r ran top 5 all day until a late race caution, and in overtime the 81 machine would crash out finishing p12. New Hampshire saw no better, with par3kr running near last all-day with another p12 finish.
Winner: Spring Motorsports
With a victory from both Litman_Nick, and Antolol, Spring Motorsports brought out the brooms at Pocono and New Hampshire, gaining 76 points for the team.
Spring Motorsports captured their third New Hampshire win and leads over the 4-time team champions UN-Famous Racing.
Loser: Manta Motorsports
An abysmal season for the team, despite hype surrounding the 3-time winner Monko, the team has been incredibly lacking, a highest finishing position of p8 by Furt.
With an inactive team owner, the team is in the direction of being history in VRA. sitting last in the team championship with a total of 26 points.
Winner: Antolol
At Pocono Antolol benefitted in overtime after many of his competitors took themselves out, getting him p3. At New Hampshire Antolol looked out of the picture until a late race caution, where he managed his way up and seemed to have drove away until another caution came out. On the final lap Antolol pulled a dramatic 5-car switchback, winning in a photo finish.
The win had broken Antolol's 44-race winless streak. Antolol now sits p3 in points, with a not-too comfortable 7-point gap over Crown.
Loser: Raptorz
Just last race weekend Raptorz ended his own winless streak winning at Martinsville in dominating fashion. This weekend however wouldnt be great for the driver of the 31, wrecking on the final lap at Pocono finishing p10. He looked to turn it around at New Hampshire where he was running top 5 in the final few laps until wrecking with the 11 car, starting the overtime in p8 raptorz would quickly lose the pack finishing p10
Despite the bad finishes, Raptorz has been able to keep Dino in reach, as he continues to look for that 5th position in the standings

Following a poor-performing weekend from Jaybar, the driver decided it would be beneficial to move away from MRI Racing. This move from the rookie driver began a wave of mid-season driver shuffles that will be explained here. Only two hours after the Pennzoil 400, Jaybar requested to be released from MRI, stating, "I feel I could perform better in another team. Pyos has offered me a D2 full-time spot at Epsilon. I feel this is a good opportunity for me to do better." This news came as a surprise to many, as Jaybar was hyped up as "MRI's next great driver."
Pyos would have Jaybar as a replacement for King, whom she had recently traded to Manta Motorsports, who signed the Season 1 Fios veteran as a part-time Cup driver alongside Fox. With the new spot open in MRI, Viking brought in a former MRI Racing driver, Dreggsome. This will be Dreggsome's return to VRA after a season hiatus. Other signings during this time include Kris signing with Colors Racing to go full-time Cup Racing and Spring Motorsports releasing Atsz from the 67 in Fios, which has yet to be filled since.

Next up on the schedule we head to a track that is known to have exciting things happen in every series, Las Vegas. We kicked off the Manta Uniforms 300 with AJ leading the first lap of the race while battling with the pole sitter NTR with Raptorz in the mix as well, but the 26 would build up a gap while the pack behind him would continue to battle as they went 3-wide multiple times behind him. On lap 11 of the race we saw our previous race winner, Nint, build up a 1.2 second lead, looking to continue where he left off at Phoenix, over the #71 car of Grey who was sitting in P2 which is his highest on-track position this season. When the white flag of the stage waved, the 99 of Bwoah and the 95 of GRIFOX -who recently made a move to Manta Motorsports- battled it out for the final position that would give them stage points. It would be Bwoah coming in 3rd with Nint winning the stage and Grey claiming 2nd. Fox would eventually get past the #99 on lap 17. Lap 27 of the race with 2 laps to go in the stage would be a turning point with Nint getting a speeding penalty of 12 seconds causing him to lose the lead to the #21 car of NTR who pitted a couple laps before the incident and went on to win the stage as Fox would finish stage 2 in 2nd place and Verge in the #55 car would round out the drivers who would be given stage points by finishing in 3rd place. During the very late time of the race, coming to 5 laps to go, the #44 lapped car of Toddy blew a tire which then resulted in him spinning into lead lap cars and tagging the #91 of Nint to bring out a very late race caution. The caution would change the whole race. When the race got back green again, multiple aggressive moves were being made to try and gain position but noticeably the #26 car was back in contention looking for his first win of the season after being behind most of the race due to an incident. After a quick review of the race restart, the #95 was caught just barely going before the restart zone and was told to lift which would give the 91 a big help as he got to the inside of the 95 to take the lead of the race with 2 laps to go. Right after the white flag waved the #95 dove down the inside of Nint but Fox was too focused on defending against Nint that during the battle between the two, Raptorz drove by both of the drivers to take the lead of the race heading out of turn 2. Heading into turns 3 and 4, the 91 car would give the bumper to the 8 car but Fox would use that as a massive advantage and take the time to give the bumper to Nint as well as a last ditch effort to win the race. Coming to the checkered flag, both AJC and Nint tried to make the pass below the apron to try and win the race but it wasn't enough as Fox would win the Manta Uniforms 300 and prove himself still as a contender.

As we head into round 2 of the VRA regular season at Phoenix Raceway we have seen some good and exciting races so far. Phoenix qualified pole right after she claimed pole position at Daytona to make it back-to-back pole positions. When the race dropped the green flag, it was the #43 getting the good launch and holding off her position but the #91 of Nint quickly got to the inside of her on the 4th lap of the race and then went on to overtake the 43 the lap after. The first caution was brought out on lap 6 due to the #71 losing control of the car heading out of the dogleg which then collected some other drivers. On the restart, the #91 almost instantly pulled away from the field but it would only be a few laps after until the yellow flag waved again because not 1, but 2 cars lost control of their cars coming out of the dog leg. The first spin of that incident was NTR in the #21 car while at the same time near the back half of the pack, the #16 car of Jaybar also spun out of the dog leg. Both spins collected other drivers which brought out the caution but NTR's spin just barely clipped Phoenix which caused most, if not all, of her positions to be lost. During the restart of the race we witnessed Nint and Fox battling it out for the lead which resulted in Fox taking the lead of the HHM Law Office 300. Meanwhile, Phoenix already made her way up to the front and tried to battle the leader but an aggressive move with a combination of late blocking sent her down the track and caused the 43 to hit the inside wall and make her car drift out of the dogleg. As there was a 3-way battle for 2nd between Phoenix, NTR, and Fox, Nint was still pulling away lap by lap. From there on out it looked like the #91 of Nint would continue to dominate the race and would result in getting the victory at Phoenix as NTR would cross the line in P2 due to a great strategy call and Phoenix would end up finished in the bronze medal posit

Recently in VRA, Fox has been getting himself into some controversy and his team has officially had enough of it. The current defending D2 champion, GRIFOX, has gotten into controversy during this off-season right before the Big Beer 350, after reportedly harrassing a steward, fox has paid the price. Fox has now been given a race weekend ban which prevents him from racing the Big Beer 350, the Verizon 500, and the Kiwi Mini Pris 200 at Daytona Road Course. Neucom Inc in response to Fox's suspension has released the defending D2 champion from the team. One team nobody expected to pick him up capitalized heavily on his free agency. Manta Motorsports has been a team everyone has expected to underperform this season, but the team owner, Manta, seized his opportunity to add more talent to his team by signing GRIFOX even though Fox is currently under a massive fire right now. Will this big transfer help Manta Motorsports shape them into a contending team once again and prove all the doubters wrong? Now that Neucom has a new team spot, rumours are spreading about who will fill it, as most say Toddy is the likely canidate.

We already have had some signing drama but this may have just taken the cake. Recently, Eclipse Motorsport has released Levi from all driving positions due to his actions off the racetrack. There have been reports of toxicity towards the team, causing incidents and yet not taking the full blame, being a softie at certain points, and to top it all off, he has called his team owner derogatory names multiple times.
When questioned about the actions taken by the driver and the actions taken by the team, Eclipse Motorsport founder and owner, Mr.Kittee, stated, "Eclipse Motorsport does not condone or tolerate this behavior at the team. We apologize to anybody who may have been affected by the actions of our now released driver. This is not how we want to be displayed on the public level and are actively working to make sure our image is hopefully cleaner than our race cars.", with that statement we can have a clear understanding and view of the decisions made by the team.
As a replacement for Levi and to take up the final D2 spot, Eclipse has signed JJspeed to the #81 car and signed Nint to the #91 both for D2 which has now made every D2 spot taken. How could we see the two new drivers compete in their unexpected signing drama? We'll soon find out.

Those teams are Colors Racing, Fanatec-Vodafone Racing, and Eclipse Motorsport. 2 out of the 3 teams believe they could be contenders right out of the gate so we will be keeping an eye out for them heading into this brand-new season. In this season of the Verizon Racing Association, we have seen so many new faces heading into the league to try out and get signed. Most of these new drivers have gotten a license and a ride while some others are still waiting for a seat. In these tryouts we have seen some potential race winners straight off the bat in which it has caught the attention of some of the D2 teams. We have names like Tekocal who has been listed as a big upcoming driver in VRA, along with Phoenix who has been dominant in her tryout races. Since season 2 the team point system was added up only counting the points of the highest finishing driver, following a majority decision by team owners & staff a new team points system has been approved that will have all points from all drivers counted into team points.
The original system was created to balance larger and smaller teams but with the influx of new drivers, the system was deemed outdated.

Entering the final race of the Regular Season, 8 drivers will make the Chase, while all else will fail to do so. Entering the season every signed driver wanted to push for a championship, but only so many drivers will have the opportunity from after Indy.
D1 is being shown by a gap of 6 points from 10th to 7th. 4 drivers, 2 open spots (Raptorz p10, Ant p9, Manta p8, Nebulon p7). The fight for Regular Season Championship is also only a gap of 3 points between Tawa(p2) and Nick(p1). Every other position is almost solidified where they are.
In D2 the battle for the final SPOT of the Chase should be heating up. Beast currently holds it by 3 points of AJ, who is hard charging for that spot. Levi(p10) is only 2 points behind AJ. Ges is 4 points behind Levi but has not shown as much as he has needed to be able to make the Chase. He could if he shows. Ogie is only 3 points behind him, but he has not scored many points at any race this season besides 1. There is a world where he makes it in, but probably not in ours. He is the last one I am going to talk about because everyone behind him either doesn't show or has not scored enough points in one race to make a run for the spot with everyone else ahead of them.
You cannot guess who can win the championship in either series without some thoughts of being wrong. In D1 the top 4 drivers have had some of the best runs. They have proven that they should be the favorites to win everything. D2 has a clear best driver in Crown. That being said, the drivers of Murilo and Fake have shown speed. If they can be consistent then they could make a hard charge for it all.
Keep in mind, there are reasons why drivers make the Chase. You have to have some speed to be there. But only one person can win in each division. Who do you think it will be?

The Red Bull 299 started with polesitter vTawa creating a gap to the cars behind him as they fell victim to the usual turn 1 shenanigans seen at this track. The infamous driver, who has 5 wins under his belt so far this season, was looking for his 6th as he set off towards the stages.
In the mid-field, Neucom team captain Nebulon started his race in P7. As the first stage white dropped, he was now up to P4, missing out on a stage point by 3.7 seconds. Epsilon team leader Pyos would snatch the first stage away from Tawa, who got second ahead of litman_Nick in third. Pit cycles would then start, with the top 4 coming in a few laps after.
The latter would climb up to P1 for the second stage, taking it only three tenths ahead of vTawa. Pyos would take third in the stage, reversing the results of the first stage. The pit window would open once again, seemingly making the race a two-stopper strategy wise.
As the race reached it's closing laps, Tawa would lead ahead of Pyos. Nebulon would find himself in third ahead of Nick. However, as the leaders rounded the track, they would come to question if their fuels strategy would stretch out till the very end. As the white flag was about to drop, Tawa and Pyos would make a last-minute decision to box, receding their position and winning chances.
A confident Nebulon would go on to inherit the lead, edging out the fuel in his tank to grab his first win of the season. Nick would follow behind him in Second, with Tawa filling out the final podium place.
The finishing order behind is as follows:
Pyos, Dark, Bwoah, Antolol, King, Manta, Viking, Parker, Sfire, Fakeboi and reigning race winner Galaxel, who did not make the start of the race.

Entering the final four races of the season many drivers are getting ready to make their final effort to make it into the Chase. We're going to look at every driver's chances to make the Chase in the final two weeks.
Cup Series
The top 3 are almost guaranteed in if they don't receive any penalties in the coming races. These drivers include Litman_Nick, vTawa, and Pyos. These three will also be our contenders for regular season champion, with a combined total of 8 wins between the three of them.
4th-5th we have Dino and Dark. Both of these drivers are competing for the Rookie of the Season award. The Fios series champ has a four-point lead above Dark, while Dark has 2 wins compared to Dino's 1. Both of these drivers will likely make the Chase as long as they show up and keep down the off-track shenanigans.
6th position 12 points behind Dark we have Galaxel, the defending Cup Champion. Entering Talladega he is the highest-ranked driver without a win. Galaxel has some favorable tracks coming up for him that give him a solid chance to make it into the Chase.
7th on down is where it gets close, As of right now Raptorz holds the 7th position, 24 points behind Galaxel and 5 points above the cutoff. Like Galaxel he is currently winless, with an average 7.5 place finish. He has some momentum on his side after an above-par day at Darlington, he has a 50/50 chance of getting in depending on his next race's performance.
The 8th, and final spot in the chase is currently held by Manta. Manta is 2 points above Nebulon and the cutoff. Like Raptorz he has momentum on his side after another great day for the 27 at Darlington, as long as he performs better than Raptorz and Nebulon in the next 4 races he should be in easily, he has some decent tracks coming up, so he'll be favored.
Below the cutoff we have Nebulon. Nebulon is 2 points out of the Chase but has been making up the points deficit rapidly. Nebulon is looking to make it into the Chase off of his speed and has the best chance of the drivers outside the cutoff. Behind Nebulon is Antolol, he is 11 points out and has an incredibly unlucky season thus far. The 13-driver has had solid speed but is usually taken out by an uncontrolled factor. If he can make something work in the next four races he could make a push for the Chase. Park3r on back has had mediocre seasons and would be lucky to make it into the chase. Most of these drivers would have to have an incredible 4-race run to make it in, Concluding the Cup Series.
Fios Series
The Top 3 Include Crown, Murilo, and Fox. Crown has had an excellent season as a rookie, and team owner. He is 86 points above the cutoff and is practically locked in. In 2nd we have Murilo, who also had an exceptional rookie season. Murilo is 45 points above the cutoff, and as long as he shows up he should be in. Fox is in third behind both of them. At the moment Fox's future is uncertain, as he has had another suspension from racing, and his Chase eligibility revoked. If Fox is reinstated and eligible he should be able to make it into the Chase, but if not that leaves an extra Chase spot open for the drivers below to fill.
4th position is Takeshi, Takeshi is 30 points above the cutoff and 6 points behind Fox. He has 2 wins so far and is having a solid season. Takeshi is the last driver in the Fios Series who is mostly safe from the cutoff, as every driver below him from 5th-11th is at most 8 points away from the cutoff.
5th & 6th are Held by Fakeboi(+8) and Gesior (+5). Fakeboi has been able to hold his own, being able to stay afloat and above the cutoff for most of the season, as long as he shows up to the next four races he should be in. Gesior on the other hand has been below the cutline before last weekend. He completely flew under everyone's radar but earned 2 straight podium finishes last weekend shooting him up from 15th to 6th. If he can keep this momentum on his side he can make a deep run in the Chase.
7th & 8th, The Final few spots in the Chase are being held by Krohnoxx (+5), and LeTreaux (+1). Both of these drivers are not incredibly fast by any means but consistently show up. If these two drivers continue to show up and don't face any competition from the drivers below the cutoff they should be able to make it in.
Below the cutoff, we have a good chunk of drivers that have a chance. First, we have Beast (-1). Beast has been the complete opposite of the drivers ahead of him. not showing to 2/3 of the races but makes it count when he does show. If he shows up to at least 2 of the next 4 and has a good run he should make it in. Behind Beast is Zia (-2). Zia has been mostly carried by substitute drivers during the season, so if they get another sub who gets them a good run they could snatch a chase spot. Levi (-4) is next up. Levi has had good speed but always suffers from an engine or mechanical issue, leaving him with a blistering 6 DNFs on the season. If he and his team can get that under control they could make a good run for the chase. One other driver I'll mention is Revel. Revel has been sneaking up on the cutoff slowly but steadily, picking up speed as he goes. He's 22 points behind though so he'll have to pick up the pace if he wants a chance. And that will conclude the final push for the Chase.

- Litman_Nick & Spring
The 6th Race Weekend saw some exciting races in both divisions, new race winners and implications of the potential end of UN-FAMOUS dominance in VRA. This news article will experiment with a new format inspired from the Formula 1 website. For those mentioned in the article, please do not take anything personally.
Winner: litman_Nick
Spring Motorsports driver litman_Nick carried the team to a double podium at New Hampshire and Darlington. At New Hampshire, Nick managed to turn pole position into his first ever Cup Series race victory, also winning Stage 1 and getting third in Stage 2.
Nick would again set the fastest qualifying lap at Darlington, and brought home a P3 to make the highest points-scoring Cup Series weekend of his career.
Loser: Fakeboi
Down in the Fios Series, Fakeboi could not manage to best the Cup Series successor, only gaining 13 points after the Bristol and Darlington races. At Darlington, the #18 Dr. Pepper car would start from 3rd, going on to take an early lead. However, Gesior would unsettle his car on Turn 3 of Lap 5, resulting in other cars eating him up. While managing to stay in the top 5 for the majority of the race, a game crash would ruin the day for him, as he had to rejoin a lap behind last place.
Winner: Spring Motorsports
The victories of Spring Motorsports driver litman_Nick would see the team rise to the top of the standings, a single point ahead of UN-FAMOUS Racing. The latter team, which has won all three previous Cup championships so far, has been infamous for their repeated dominance in the series.
The Team Captain of Spring Motorsports, Spring himself, retired from his VRA racing career to assist in hosting races, after finding himself unsuccessful in repeating the championship success he had in the first season of VRA. However, his teammate has been finding great pace in the past races, having a 50% podium rate so far this season. Will he be able to carry this momentum to snatch UN-FAMOUS' fourth team championship out of their grasp?
Winner: Crown and ESW Racing
While the D2 field has indeed been closer than ever this season with the introduction of a bunch of new drivers, there is one team which has been a big favorite to win the teams championship. ESW joined VRA as a brand new team for Season 4. In a statement from his teams Discord server, team owner crown. said:
"In my managerial career, I am yet to lose a team championship,
and I ain't planning to lose one any time soon"
The stories of ESWs success are indeed true, as they won the 8th ESCL Amateur Series team championship in a dominant fashion under the Pepsi name, a whopping 198 points ahead of their competitors. And this weekend, Crown scored another 43 points for his team, winning both races at Bristol and Darlington. His team currently holds a 29-point lead ahead of his closest rivals, Spring Motorsports.
Loser: Raptorz
UN-FAMOUS Racing driver Raptorz, who returned from Therago Racing Inc. after the team failed to meet his expectations, did not have a very lucky weekend indeed. At New Hampshire, he fell victim to a wreck on lap 14, killing his top 5 chances. He decided to retire from the race afterwards, ending up 11th.
Raptorz managed to somewhat compensate for his previous race at Darlington, coming home in 5th after a somewhat eventless race. However, he still was the second least points-scoring driver to race both races, behind Antolol.
Loser: Antolol_13
Spring Motorsports driver Antolol, who was the Season 1 Fios Series champion, has been noticably unlucky when it has come to scoring points this season. One could argue that he has been very unlucky, being involved in multiple wrecks and events that have been out of his control.
At New Hampshire, Antolol would start and finish the race in P9. During the race, he was looking good to score some more points after climbing some positions, but would be caught in a wreck with Pyos, ultimately sending him back to where he started.
At Darlington, Antolol would be caught out at the race start, losing 3 positions and eventually finishing the race in P8. Antolol would score the least points out of all the other drivers in the Cup Series who had raced both races that weekend.

Round 11 of the fourth VRA Cup Series season saw litman_Nick finally get his first ever Cup Series Win. The driver, who was given the title "Rookie of the Season", would start the race on pole position and immediately create a gap as the result of a battle between Epsilon team captain Pyos and S2 Cup Champion, vTawa.
In the battle for P10, Raptorz and Antolol would find the pit entry wall on Lap 14, immediately bringing out the first caution of the day. By the time Nick took the raceback, he had a two-second gap to Pyos behind. During the pit cycles, Nick would overshoot his stall, allowing Tawa to get a better pit stop, and moving Nick down to third with Galaxel staying out as they lined up behind the pace car again.
At the restart, Nick was seemingly making up for his pit mistake, picking off Galaxel for second place. However, a mistake would get him loose, eventually shuffling him down to P7 as he was involved in a wreck with Pyos and Antolol on lap 24.
At this point, Nick was not ready to give up yet. Determined to finally get a win, he would pass car after car, eventually repassing Galaxel for P2 on lap 40. On lap 42, the battle for P5 would find the pit entry wall, once again. The racing incident, involving cars 20, 15, 99 and 19, would bring out the second caution of the day.
As the green flag waved once again, a horrid restart would see Nick falling all the way down to last. Fortunately for him, it didn't take long before the caution would come out once again, moving him up to P4 as the race restarted.
The dream getaway would have Nick go down the inside of restart leader Nebulon for P1, the pair battling until the latter spun around as the result of contact between the two. Beyond this point, Nick would pull a massive lead to the cars behind, crossing the line 1.5 seconds ahead of the wrecking Bwoah and Dark.
The finishing order behind Nick is as follows:
Bwoah, Pyos, Nebulon, Galaxel, Dark, Parker, Tawa, Antolol, Levi, Raptorz.
Stage 1: Nick, Tawa, Pyos
Stage 2: Tawa, Galaxel, Nick

Dino has been shown as one of the most dominant drivers in VRA history, But why is this?
why? Because of simple lack of competition. He had 8 wins, 1 Super Speedway, 4 intermediates, 1 Road Course, and 2 short-medium sized tracks (Rockingham and Darlington). Not including Super Speedways, this is his average finish: 2.66 repeating. This is one of the best ever. But why does he have it? Has he been racing great drivers and showing why he deserves to be champion or was he going against some of the weakest competition in D2 ever. It proved to be the latter. When you look at his bad losses of p4 and back, the people who beat him seemed to look much better the entire race. Charlotte, p6 had: Tawa, Ant, Parker, and Fox. Homestead RC, P4: Tawa, Beast, Fox. Toronto, p8: Galaxal, Pyos, Ant, Manta, King, Parker, Toxic. Kansas, p4: Galaxal, Kris, Parker. MRI, p5: Viking, Kris, Toxic, Gack. This shows that when he lost from p4 or behind, he was beat by D1 drivers either full time or part time (besides toxic, who still has a D1 license)
But what about when he won? In his 7 non-Super Speedway wins, he had to beat some good drivers as well, right? Kind of. His first win was at Daytona, so we will not count that. His second was at Las Vegas. He beat: Raptors, Fox, Pyos, Krohnox, Viking. In this are 3 cup series drivers. A good start. His next was at Homestead. He won against: Shadowy, Toxic, Krohnox, King, JJSpeed. Solid but not the best drivers. He won back-to-back at Watkins. The finishers behind him were: Bwoah, Manta, Toxic, Ant, Viking, Krohnox, JJSpeed. In this were some more cup drivers, who all have not had the best runs in Cup or haven't at all. Still a very solid win for him. He then won the very next race at Darlington. He beat: Fox, Manta, Toxic, King, Ant, and Shadowy. He beat some solid guys here again. His next win was at Rockingham. He won against: Fox, Parker, JJSpeed, Krohnox, Viking. Not the most solid group of drivers, without any full time D1 Drivers at the time. He won the final race of the regular season at Indy. He won in front of: Levi, Zen, Viking, Dreggsome. This is not the most impressive set of drivers to race against. But every so often there are going to be races like this. He did not win again until the final race of the season. But the Chase competition was not great in the slightest. This led to him winning the championship before even showing up to Homestead 2. He beat: Parker, Jacki, Toxic, Viking, Dreggsome, Levi. This field is not the worst but not the best. Now, is he completely Micky? No. You have to have talent to win this much at this level. I am very confident in saying that if he raced in the previous 2 seasons of D2, he would not be as highly regarded as he is now. He was also able to find a way to not race Tawa at any point when he did race.
The quality of drivers he beat were a solid 5 out of 10. But when he had a bad loss, his competition was easily an 8 out of 10. Dino is still always going to be D2 champion for the rest of time. He is very highly rated by the people who race around him. He has very high expectations going into his Rookie season. Good luck Dino.

On December 11th, after most signings finished, Sfire would announce Realm Inc.'s disbandment in VRA. A move criticized by many Sfire stated the reason was the lack of competent drivers for the team. Founded by Shadowy and making its debut in Season 2 Realm Inc would get 3 wins across all 2 divisions including a win at Indianapolis. Poor management had plagued the team since Shadowy's departure from VRA. Sfire is now racing under the newly formed Epsilon Motorsport under Pyos management.

Lots to cover in this one, so first let's start with new teams. Four new teams have joined VRA, two coming in from other leagues and two just being created. Epsilon Motorsport, owned by 6-time D1 winner Pyos, ESS Racing, owned by Crown, a rookie in Fios, and for the two teams coming in from outside leagues, we first have Nuecom Inc. owned by the season 1 Spring Liveries 400 winner, Nebulon, and Therago Racing Inc. owned by Therago, a high-status team owner from a multitude of other leagues. All four teams will be making their first season starts in VRA.
With tryouts just being completed nine new drivers would enter VRA, with four drivers returning from seasons before season 3.
With new drivers come new signings, and the signings this season many would say are unexpected, as the four new teams mixed the melting pot of drivers. notable moves are Beast moving to Fios with Spring Motorsports, JJSpeed moving to Neucom, King moving to Epsilon, Park3r signing with Manta Motorsports in Cup, Litman_Nick moving to Spring Motorsports, and Sfire signing with Pyos at Epsilon. All of these we could say were unexpected moves but not overly surprising. What happened with Tawa a day after signings opened shocked many though, as news came out of Tawa's signing with Smithsport 4 days prior everyone expected the Season 2 Champion to race alongside The Season 3 Fios Champion Dino. Rumors had also surfaced that Smith had managed a deal with Antolol to come to the team as well, leading many to believe Smithsport would drive into the fourth season with 2 Fios Series Champions and a Cup Champion. Once signings had opened the full story was unveiled, As Antolol signed back with Spring Motorsports and discussions between Galaxel and Tawa resumed. Only a day after Tawa had signed with Smithsport Tawa terminated the deal and went back to UN-Famous racing with Galaxel and Chevy.

"My stay at UN-Famous has been nothing short of rewarding and satisfying, this is why the move to Smithsport will be temporary". Most of Tawa's success has been with Chevy, so let's see how he does back on a Toyota team.

Ace Racing has had a bumpy first season in VRA; a 100% DNF Record within their first 6 races in Cup, and 2/3 Fios Drivers never showing up the team was struggling. Dark, the owner and driver never recovered from his constant mechanical issues on the track, and off the track his team leadership skills were lacking. His Fios Series driver, Fox, would face a 3-week suspension, putting him out of contention for the S3 Fios Championship. Overall the team has suffered many losses, and with a lack of leadership the team has been shut down from participation within the Fios & Cup Series VRA divisions.

The first weekend of the Season 3 chase has been completed, here are some highlights from this weekend of racing. At Kansas Tawa would capture his second win at the track, being the first Cup Driver to win the same race twice, Tawa would also capture his second win in a row at the track. While raptorz would have an Illegal substitution and have his points voided. In Fios Galaxel would win for Viking, improving the 14's position in the Fios standings, and was the first Ford to win since the Miami RC.
At Dover Raptorz managed to overcome the previous race's penalty with a win. Tawa would take first in the standings, and Park3r made a career best cup finish of 2nd. In Fios things continued to do well for the Fords as Par3kr won his first race of the season, while Dino continued to lead the standings.

Entering Dover, the points lead was very close. Spring led the points with Tawa and Pyos close behind. After a great day of racing at Dover, the points lead changes in the favor of Tawa. Everyone had a shot to make the cutoff line for the Chase/Playoff. The race started off with Litman_Nick on the pole gaining himself 1 extra point towards the championship lead and the cutoff line. The stages went by fairly quick with Litman winning Stage 1 as it led into a C by a Jackknife by Raptorz and Parker who was subbing for Pyos. The next stage came and went with a few run-ins with people sending each other. The #8 car of Galaxel and the #13 of Antolol were seen many times sending it onto the apron to make positions. As the race progressed green flag pit stops started to commence. Tawa was one of the first pitters as he took fuel on the last caution and almost blew a tire. This may have caused some people to think the window was open for them when they could have possibly gone longer. Gesier was another to dive into the pits and took fuel only to try to make it to the end with better track position, but he shortly blew a tire. Antolol went into the pits but got fuel only, when he meant to also get tires, so he had to go in a second time to make sure he got tires. When stops had finished up Litman_Nick and Tawa were almost two seconds ahead of third place of Galaxel, with Ant who came out of the pits about to go 3 laps down. As soon as Galaxel was catching up, there was a caution. It was for the #42 car of Parker fully stopped on the apron of Turn 1/2. Nobody knows what caused it but he seemed to be by himself.
During pitstops, Litman faked out of the pits as Tawa went in, giving him the lead with Galaxel right behind him. As the race continued with around 10 laps to go, Litman and Tawa were fighting for the lead. As the final 3 laps started Nick got moved out of line and fell back but was able to regain his positions entering the final lap. Antolol, who was sitting in the pits decided to pull out to try to alter the finish after saying, "I hope litman loses". As litman was entering turn 1, the #88 of Raptorz fully send him without trying to make the corner nearly 200 mph into the wall, causing slowdown for Nick and ruining his chances. Ant on the backstretch tried to block the track but couldn't hold it and moved down on the banking of the backstretch. Raptorz would end up winning because of his move to ruin the race of the #29 driver, who finished p5 at the end of it all. After the move, Raptorz is only 2 points above the cutoff line with Manta behind him. Do not be surprised if there will be some retaliation next weekend. Nobody is truly locked into the next round with Tawa being 22 points to the good when the most one person can get is 24. The only chance he can be eliminated is if he does not show up. Pyos and Galaxel are both in a similar spot being 21 points above the line. Spring is 19 points above the cutoff. If he shows up, he will advance. Litman is 17 above the line and as long as he gets a top 10 and Manta does not get a max points day, he will be fine. Raptorz is 2 points above and in no way is safe. A 2-point gap could be taken away by just finishing one spot higher. Manta is the first car out by 2 points. He needs a solid day to make the next round or have Raptorz struggle. Antolol would be only 4 points out, but he has a race ban. He is officially eliminated from playoff contention. Next week starts off on Saturday with Charlotte. Good luck to all as the final race of the round of 8 is up next.

#8. Antolol - points before reset: 76
With one win, 1 podium, and 2 top fives, Antolol is coming into the chase at the bottom of the standings. The driver is in a bit of a sophomore slump, compared to his 5 podiums last season. Despite this slump, Antolol has excellent momentum coming into the Chase with an average of 12 points in the past four races. Now Antolol has 1 win at 2 of the 7 tracks coming up, One at Talladega earlier this season, and one at Las Vegas the previous season. Antolol will definitely give a valiant effort in his second Chase appearance.
#7. Manta - points before reset: 107
With 2 podiums and 4 top fives Manta has made his second Chase appearance coming in 7th. Manta is on a current 23-race winless streak with his last win back in Season 2 at Toronto. The Driver was unable to win the race this season but still made it safely into the Chase. Manta has one win at Las Vegas back in Season 1 and is looking to make a good out of his Chase appearance.
#6. Raptorz - points before reset: 136
With 2 wins, 5 podiums, and 7 top fives Raptorz is relatively on par with his performance last season. Now with UN-Famous Racing in the 88 Chevrolet, Raptorz has solidified himself as a driver who can win races and run up front. Raptorz has no wins at the next 7 tracks but he's looking to change that. Charlotte is probably his best bet, where Un-Famous has dominated before and his best finish of 3rd there just earlier this season.
#5. Galaxel - points before reset: 154
With 3 wins, 6 podiums, and 7 top fives, Galaxel will no doubt be a contender for the championship. Galaxel has a Fios Series win at Watkins Glen and that is definitely where the Owner-Driver will shine. Galaxel also had a 2nd place finish at Las Vegas earlier this season. Expect Galaxel to be up front racing his heart out.
#4. Litman_Nick - points before reset: 158
With 4 podiums and 10 top fives, Litman_Nick is no doubt consistent. The Rookie driver has come close to victory many times, I wouldn't leave him out of the equation for the championship and a possible first-career win. MRI has done well with the 29 Ford making it the team's first Chase appearance.
#3. Pyos - points before reset: 175
With 2 wins, 6 podiums, and 12 top fives, Pyos has no doubt made the absolute best out of her Manta Motorsports equipment. The Driver has been at the top of the standings nearly all season and is eager to lead once again. The Season 2 rookie of the season is looking to get that championship trophy this season, only being 8 points away last time. Expect her to be upfront at most of the upcoming races
#2. Tawa - points before reset: 182
With 3 wins, 4 podiums, and 5 top fives, Tawa is on a roll compared to his zero wins last regular season. Tawa also leads the series in stage wins with nine. The Next few races line up well for the driver of the 42, with a win at Kansas last season, a career-best finish of 2nd at Dover, and a win at Charlotte just earlier this season. Tawa is looking to go back-to-back with championship trophies for UN-Famous.
#1. Spring - points before reset: 182
With 3 wins, 10 podiums, and 11 top fives, Spring barely beats Tawa out with a tiebreaker. on par with his past performances, the driver of the 26 is looking to get his second championship as well. He has wins at both Las Vegas and Miami.
These are your 8 Chase drivers, stay tuned to see who'll win the Championship. Next Race October 14th at Kansas Speedway [1pm EST]

#8. Toxic - points before reset: 86
With 2 podiums and 5 top fives Toxic is coming into the Chase in 8th. Toxic has had winning speed all season but has not had luck on his side. The driver of the 43 is hoping that the final 7 races will be kind. His best chances are at Talladega and Miami where he races best.
#7. JJSpeed - points before reset: 102
With 1 win, 3 podiums, 5 top fives, JJSpeed is the only Chevy car in the field, but this won't discourage the driver from doing his best. His best chance will be Talladega where he won earlier this season.
#6. Park3r - points before reset: 105
With 5 podiums, and 6 top fives Park3r is in the Chase in 6th. Park3r has finished 2nd three times so far this season park3r will be running up front this Chase. He has 1 win at Talladega and a second-place finish at Las Vegas last season. Don't count him out.
#5. Viking - points before reset: 129
With 2 wins, 3 podiums, and 6 top fives Viking has done extremely well compared to his previous season whom which he didn't even make the Chase. Viking will do well at his home track of MRI no doubt. Fans at the beginning of the season chose Viking as a championship favorite, let's see if they're right.
#4. Fox - points before reset: 139
With 1 win, 7 podiums, and 9 top fives Fox is on a roll in his rookie season, and his amount of wins only had been stunted by Cup subs and Dino. He'll be strong this Chase.
#3. King - points before reset: 146
With 2 wins, 3 podiums, and 10 top fives King has been solid this season. Small disclaimer though; both his wins were by subs. The driver of the 96 is still on a 37-race winless streak (last win S1 Talladega). Despite this, King has been consistent this season and will be competing for his 3rd attempt at the championship trophy. His strong suits will for sure be at Talladega and MRI.
#2. Krohnoxx - points before reset: 150
With 6 podiums and 10 top fives, Krohnoxx is starting second in the Chase. With no wins Krohnoxx's performance is purely on consistency, expect him to be a threat to Dino's dominance
#1. Dino - points before reset: 221
With a record of 7 wins, 9 podiums, and 11 top fives, Dino has no doubt in the world that he is dominating the series. Dino is the championship favorite going into the final 7 races. He's going to be upfront at every track, it's up to the rest of the drivers to overthrow this juggernaut.
These are your 8 Chase drivers, stay tuned to see who'll win the Championship. Next Race October 14th at Kansas Speedway [12pm EST]

Coming out of Toronto everything was up to Indianapolis, the final chase spot was separated by 2 points, Sfire +1, Beast -1, and Antolol -2. The Regular season championship was no different. Spring with 168 points, Pyos 165 points, and Tawa 164 points. every point would be crucial and Toxic, subbing for Antolol would capture pole, tying Antolol's points with Beast. Toxic would dominate the first third of the race leading every lap till the stage with Tawa in second and Galaxel third. the points now were Sfire -2, Beast -3, and Antolol +2. With Tawa finishing second in the stage he would cut down his gap on spring from 4 points to two with Tawa -2 and Pyos -3. Every stage would be crucial so when none of the contenders got stage points in stage 2 we knew it would be down to where the drivers finished, Spring was far out and Toxic had a tire issue, it was almost certain Beast would make the chase and the Regular season between Pyos and Tawa. but only 2 laps before white a caution came out involving the 41 and 42 car. The Race would go green with Galaxel leading after a short stop and Tawa in second, with the caution extension Galaxel wouldn't make it to the end and right before white the caution was called after Galaxel ran out on the track. Now another overtime attempt, Tawa out front of Spring and Pyos behind Tawa raced with all his power, Spring managed to get to second with Pyos following behind but not enough to catch the 42 car. Tawa would win at Indianapolis capturing his 3rd win of the season. the gap would be cut from 2 points to none. A tie, Unfortunately for Tawa Spring would get the tiebreaker with 10 podiums to 4.

Going into Indianapolis there wasn't much at stake; Dino locked the regular season championship 3 races prior, and every chase driver locked in at Toronto, this race was for stats and wins. Wins is what they came for and what'd they get. After a tie for Pole Dino and Viking fought side by side the first half of the race, but in Dino fashion, he managed to pull away and in the final half the race would have an easy win at Indianapolis.

As the caution flag waved the cars were stacked back up for the restart. Toxic in the 29 would lead us to green, Spring in third would stall causing the pack to spread out to get around him, and Tawa would take the lead from second place getting around the 29 car. Galaxel was not far behind the 42 though, as the field began to spread it was obvious the race would be between these two Un-Famous teammates. Tawa had led most of the race and swept the stages but Galaxel had consistently been behind, waiting for his moment to pounce, and with 6 to go Tawa made a mistake and the 8 car slipped by. Tawa would try and try to catch the 8 car in the final laps but couldn't do it, and with an excellent fuel saving strategy Galaxel crossed the line just barely winning his third-ever VRA Toronto race. After the race we asked Galaxel how he managed to win both Cup & Fios; this is what he had to say:
"I spent a decent amount of time before learning the cars, enough practice to know what speeds to enter and exit each corner, when to brake and left off"

Galaxel started on pole having high hopes, with the 37 of Antolol and the 96 of King starting behind him. As the race went under green the first corner turned to mayhem as Galaxel fell from first to near last, the 37 had pulled away and it would stay that way for 10+ laps. The 37 won stage one but only by an inch as Galaxel had made his way up the field to Antolol's bumper. Toxic had also managed himself into the top spots fighting his teammate for 2nd. The two Fords would fall behind as Galaxel captured stage 2. As Galaxel cruised the final laps the battle would be in second place; everyone would be fuel-saving, but only some would manage it well, the 43 of Toxic and the Regular season champ, Dino in the 45, would both run out of fuel on the final lap, a painful end to their race. Galaxel would win once again capturing his second Bombardier 180 trophy from his home track.

MRI Raceway would host the inaugural Verizon All-Star Race this season. Drivers who've won a cup race from the current season and previous season were all eligible to race All-Star to see who comes out on top. in the 75-lap race, 74 laps would be pure madness and the final lap would be no different. Of all 11 drivers, three would appear as our major contenders; Tawa, Galaxel, and NTR. These three drivers would be the final three competing at the end, Galaxel would miss the first corner would let Tawa catch and pass for 2nd, and NTR was far into the lead, but he was not out of the woods yet. The S2 Verizon 500 winner would get caught up with lapped cars, precisely what Tawa and Galaxel needed. And Tawa had caught. Tawa and NTR would be side by side, wheel to wheel into the final corner, Tawa on the outside NTR on the inside, Galaxel following behind. and in the final turn, NTR would turn down the inside while Tawa and Galaxel made contact on the outside letting NTR capture the win at VRA's inaugural All-Star Race.

Earlier today it was determined that Bwoah was subbing for King and Amica in the 96-car for both Daytona and Phoenix. As a steward for the Fios Series Bwoah is forbidden to race/sub in the series. This case of illegal subbing resulted in a 28 point penalty, dropping King from 2nd to 6th in the Driver standings and Amica Racing 1st to 4th in the Team Standings. King will not lose any sub points for the illegal subbing and drivers whom had finished behind the 96 car during this will be awarded points based on new finishing orders.

During qualifying, the track appeared to be difficult to hold a line on, with most drivers tapping or scraping the outside wall. With these walltaps many of the drivers would get time penalties. Litman_Nick on the other hand set the fastest lap without walltapping, and without other penalties. The pole was just the start for Litman_Nick though, as he went on to lead the first 22 laps of the race before Tawa caught up. the race lead would vary with Tawa & Litman_Nick both taking the stage wins. With the laps winding down Manta managed to get the lead with a good pit stop, with Litman_Nick and Spring following right behind. With only five laps to go Manta would spin out from the lead and a caution would be called. Overtime once again would occur this weekend, and quickly Litman_Nick and Spring pulled away. Spring made a move to the inside of Nick which was especially risky; but he made it stick. Spring would now defend Litman_Nick and win his second race this weekend.

Toxic vs. JJSpeed, while Toxic has been in the racing game for a while JJSpeed is a relatively knew rookie, but we're here at bristol dirt; a knew track to both series. despite this the panel seems to favour the 43 car, while most predict Viking as our race winner.

before the Red Baron 300 today at Atlanta Dino was discovered using an ethnic slur. The driver was given a 2-race suspension and a ban warning. allegedly he wasn't the only one, but other penalties have yet to be given out.
At Atlanta today a few post-race penalties were given out. the 11 of Sfire and 21 of Takeshi were both penalized 4-5 positions on track after both attempted illegal last lap moves.
The Cup series had their own fair share of post-race penalties at Las Vegas. Kris was discovered with an illegal pit stop and commitment cone violation, causing most of his laps to be invalidated. the driver would still not end up finishing the race on his own either way. Foxy, subbing in for the 4 car of Gesior was Disqualified post-race after wrecking the field on the penultimate lap. and Raptorz was docked positions after wallriding and helping initiate the wreck with Foxy.

Racing managed to take the lead. Post-race stewards discovered that the Ace Racing driver had taken an illegal pit stop, missing the commitment cone and driver way over the pit speed limit. This would put Beast into the lead; Beast hadn't won a race since season 1 at Dover Motorspeedway. but as the laps winded down it was looking to be all his. His lead would run out though as Manta Motorsports teammates were caught in a wreck together, bringing out a late-race caution. With a 6-lap shootout, Galaxel would snatch the lead and keep it before yet another wreck occurred. Now it was down to two laps to go. Galaxel, Spring, and Beast were in the top 3. The green flag was out and Galaxel and Spring shot out. the rest of the pack and clogged up. The two drivers raced side-by-side to the finish line, with Spring just Galaxel edging out to capture his team their second Pennzoil 400 victory.

Raptorz would qualify mid-pack for this race (around p4) but that would not discourage him. Raptorz had won this race in Cup before and was determined to do it again. within the first four laps, Raptorz took the lead from Fox and never turned back. Raptorz went off into the sunset setting blistering lap times. Raptorz would win both stages and then cruised to the finish line to get the 99 and himself back to victory lane at Atlanta. some other notes from this race were the suspension of Dino, which we will cover later, and Krohnoxx's first career pole.

Coming into the third week of the Verizon Racing season, we have a new set of matchups.
For the Cup series we have Tawa vs. Beast, Tawa just came out of a win at Phoenix and is looking to get two in a row at Las Vegas. Beast on the other hand hasn't won since season 1, and is looking to end his winless streak.
In The Fios Series we have two drivers who've been doing really well, with Viking being the favourite with two wins already on the season and being second in points, King has shown lots of speed on the intermediates but just cant find victory lane.

After the Duels & The Fios series completed at Daytona, many cup drivers knew that coming into this Verizon 500 would be different. With tires at play and new packages, the drivers would have to try everything they could to gain an advantage over their competitors. On lap one, the field had a crash, and the race was looking to be another superspeedway caution-fest. little did they know that caution would be the last. drivers came to pit and the green flag was back out. lots of shuffling would ensue causing the main pack to split up, with drivers like Beast, Pyos, and Bwoah in the lead pack. and drivers like Manta, Sfire, and Spring in the back pack. The racing would be mostly clean, with Beast taking the first stage with the help of his teammate, Antolol. The first pit cycle started and nearly every driver went in. Pyos had stayed out and won the stage with Spring behind. Both drivers pitted and everyone was on the lead lap once again. Dark would experience a Mechanical failure while his teammate DNF'd due to a flat tire. Ace Racing was not off to a good start this season. the main pack of drivers returned and the commentators started to notice Pyos's strategy. The other drivers knew she would try to take it all the way to the end so they stayed with her, but one by one the drivers had to come to pit. Beast and Antolol stayed out the longest, eventually coming to the pits themselves. The only other driver who made the strategy work was Spring, who after getting separated in the main pack early was too far behind to put up a fight. Pyos would then cross the S/F for one last time to win the Verizon 500 with a 12-second lead.

With an excellent qualifying lap, Dino captured the pole and the race was on. As the first few laps went by many noticed the lack of cautions a superspeedway would usually bring. most of the pack still stuck together single file. Dino, who had been leading all race so far, had the first stage swiped from him, but this would not discourage him as he took back the lead. After pit cycles were completed four cars remained in battle. Toxic, Bwoah, Krohnoxx, and Dino. during the first pit cycle our defending Big Beer 350 winner, Viking, and rookie Fox, both had speeding penalties. JJspeed would also DNF during this time due to a mechanical failure. As the four cars finished the second stage a second wave of pit stops came. Krohnoxx struggled to keep up to speed and feel behind the three cars. and coming to the white flag Toxic led, Bwoah was eager to push through and Dino waited behind. Bwoah and Toxic fought aggressively for the lead, beating and banging along the straights and turns. During their skirmish a gap opened, and Dino took his shot for the lead! Dino would hold off the two charging Fords to capture his first career win!

Coming out of an exhilarating race at the Homestead Miami Road Course, Galaxel was a two-time Coke Clash winner. His first win came at Road Atlanta with his UN-Famous Toyota Camry. Now every Toyota driver in the field had DNF'd. Toyota made up seven out of the seventeen drivers, so what happened.
Let's go back to Season two, Manta Motorsports had just come off of a 3-4-5 Finish in the standings with nine wins during the season, and Realm Inc. 3. Since then, Raptorz moved from Manta Motorsports to UN-Famous, and all 3 Realm Inc. Drivers either retired or moved to the Fios Series. Despite all of that two new teams arrived for Toyota, Ace Racing and Red Bull Smithsport. Ace Racing had managed to obtain drivers in the Cup Series, with rookies Kris and Dark joining. Ace Racing also managed to get D1rge involved. And Realm Inc., and Manta Motorsports both signed one new rookie respectively.
Now at the Clash four out of the seven Toyota drivers had shown. Dark, Kris, D1rge, and Pyos. Pyos had shown speed early qualifying on pole and leading the first handful of laps, but after a mistake on lap five she was unable to retake the lead all race. Mid-way through the race all three Ace Racing drivers had DNF'd. leaving Pyos as the only Toyota representative. and later in the race Pyos ran into her own issues and had to park the car, leaving Toyota without a single car to finish the race.
All Toyota teams are looking to bounce back even after that. looking for another twelve-win season and their first championship.

The Race Predictions are back, and this weekend we're going to the Homestead Miami Road Course for this season Coke Clash. Here are the predictions:
Pole: Galaxel
in other leagues like RERN and ESCL, Galaxel has shown outstanding pace in his laps, haven taking pole on tracks like Watkins Glen with a huge margin from the other drivers.
Winner and podium sitters: 1st Tawa, 2nd Dark, 3rd Pyos
1st: Tawa, the reigning Cup Series champion, has shown excellence in dominating tight roadcourse races like the Samsung GP in ESCL, and with these setups being more maneuverable than in ESCL, he will have a much greater chance than most of the field.
2nd: Rookie driver Dark has won multiple championships in Ro-Racing before. He won the ESCL S8 MRI Raceway race, and also won the final S3 tryout race at Nurburgring, which also was a road course.
3rd: Pyos was a championship contender for S2 of VRA. Having won multiple races throughout the last season, she's definitely a candidate for the podium.
Sfire & Bwoah have already confirmed they will not attend this season's Coke Clash.
Overall Predictions:
1. Tawa
2. Dark
3.Pyos
4. Spring
5. Galaxel

Following Friday's incident, we interviewed D1rge about the debate and his perspective; here's what he had to say:
"I think Tawa is just on his high horse over a freaking VRA championship, he obviously doesn’t know that when I actually ran good, I performed better than him. Just because he wins races on the VRA Russian roulette doesn’t mean he knows who is and who isn’t a good fit, but it’s fine we’ll just do what we did last time and make him shut the hell up."
As relations continue to sour between MRI & Un-Famous the question remains: will the team owners interfere and what do they have to say?
6.16.2023
- spring
Defending cup series champion, Tawa has gotten into some off-track altercations with former Un-Famous Teammates, Bwoah & D1rge. Tawa would talk about Bwoah's lacking performance on Un-Famous during Season 1, which started a heated debate. This debate would catch the attention of many drivers and members. One member, in particular, played a role in it. D1rge would step into the argument defending Bwoah. D1rge would call Tawa's bickering "unnecessary," and as many other members agreed, Tawa eventually let off. Tawa said one last thing before leaving the discussion "It won't change." A big question after this is if this will affect relations between Un-Famous and MRI. MRI has many former un-famous drivers racing for them, and with arguments between the two teams driver's over the debate is now in the team owner's hands.

The first tryout race at phoenix has just completed, and there is a bit to talk about. six to seven new driver's participated in the tryouts. Viking and Tawa raced as well as a representative for Cup & Fios. what really caught everyone's eye this race was Bomb's performance. Running in the number eight car Bomb was up front the entire race, qualifying first and having the highest position among the new drivers. Bomb so far is looking like he could be a rookie star if he gets into Cup.

Pole: Spring
Spring ran very fast laps earlier this season at Pheonix and I see no reason why he can't again.
Stage winners: Pyos and Tawa.
After Pyos made a surprise return to the cup series yesterday at Gateway, don't be surprised if she goes and wins at least something during the race. Tawa was also very fast, but didn't have the proper pit strategy to compete for position. You may see both getting good stage points. Winner and podium sitters: I believe that Spring will improve one position from earlier in the season, with Pyos P2 and NTR in P3 as he tries to have another good run this season. Spring got second earlier in the season to Monko, who is no longer racing, so why not?
Overall Predictions:
1. Spring
2. Pyos
3. NTR
4. Raptorz
5. Antolol
6. Manta
7. Tawa
8. Furt
9. Antolol

Starting the race, Park3r quickly pulled away from the pack, setting himself as the favorite to win. Park3r would win stages one & two, but during pit cycles late in the race, Litman_Nick gained the lead. With King and Park3r gaining on Litman_Nick, Nick was under pressure and making mistakes losing more time. He eventually broke under this pressure on lap 52 when he spun out. The Traxxas 300 would be going into overtime, King started in first, but Litman_Nick was quick to catch back up, passing him into turn three and winning the race.
5.13.2023
Pole: Spring
Spring has been fast during the few short tracks that have been run so far in the season, and I can trust him to start off well on pole.
Stage winners: Shadowy and Manta.
I have a feeling that after last weekends performance by Shadowy, he will be able to keep some of the momentum and get a stage win, stealing it from other chase drivers, but as for Manta, he has been fast at shorter tracks and even won at Darlington. Don't be surprised if you see one or both of these guys competing for a win as well.
Winner and podium sitters: I believe that Raptorz will get'er done in the oldest paved track, with Manta P2 and Tawa in P3 while hoping to continue to put a dent into Spring's lead. Raptorz has been fast on shorter tracks so I have every reason to believe that he can pull it off on Saturday.
Overall Predictions:
1.Raptorz
2. Manta
3.Tawa
4. Antolol
5.Spring
6. Furt
7. Shadowy
8. D1rge
9. NTR

5.12.2023
Furt stole the pole and managed to lead most of the first 10 laps. Furt was looking like a favourite, along with D1rge and Spring. Spring managed to win both stages with D1rge and Furt following behind. But pit cycles is where it all mattered. pitting at the track showed to be difficult, But Tawa perfected it; leaving the pits with an 8-second gap over Arti and Spring. Spring was gaining in the closing laps but it wasn't enough to catch Tawa who won his first race at Kansas.
5.7.2023

Coming back to Phoenix Raceway Litman_Nick was a favourite to win, with his win at the track at the beginning of the season to back him up. Bwoah also wasn't attending. Leaving Litman_Nick's biggest competitor at the track out. On lap 13 a caution came out starting pit cycles. every driver but Viking and Tawa pit. Mid Tawa and Viking pitted as they didn't pit earlier. Galaxel and Litman_Nick were the only cars in contention with Krohnoxx 4+ seconds behind. Litman_Nick ended up pitting with a miscalculation on fuel mileage. Galaxel coming right out of a win at WWT Raceway would win at Phoenix with a 20+ second gap.
5.7.2023

Pole: Raptorz
Raptorz is very fast during his qualifying runs and you shouldn't be surprised to see him starting first at Kansas. Stage winners: Spring and Manta
these two are almost always up front near the end of the stages and the race. Don't be shocked when you see them crossing the line for the Green-Checkered flag.
Winner and podium sitters: I believe that Manta will win in the heartland, with Pyos P2 and Spring in P3 while keeping his first place spot in the chase.
Overall Predictions:
1.Manta
2. Pyos
3.Spring
4. Antolol
5.Shadowy
6. Furt
7. Tawa
8. Raptorz
9. Arti
10. D1rge
11. NTR
12. Beast
5.6.2023
Pole: Antolol
Anto has been fast during qualifying. He has started up front a lot over the season so far.
Stage winners: Tawa and Pyos
These two are up front during every race during the whole event. Don't be surprised if they both get themselves a stage.
Winner and podium sitters: I believe that Antolol will get the win at Indy, with Manta P2 and Furt in P3 getting the final spot in the chase. Antolol has been looking for a win for a long time and I think he can get it done here.
Overall Predictions:
1.Antolol
2. Manta
3.Furt
4. Arti
5.Pyos
6. Raptorz
7. Tawa
8. Spring
9. Shadowy

5.5.2023
Raptorz had struggled for most of the day, as he and Shadowy got together early on in the race, sending him to the back of a field for a long green flag run. Up front, Manta, Pyos, Tawa, and Spring were battling for the stage positions, and the four looked quite strong as they had a commanding gap over the competitors behind them. However, a late caution brought out by Shadowy brought Tawa and Pyos back together with the rest of the field, some barely avoiding going a lap down as a result. The remaining portion of the race would be incredibly hectic - while there were seldom lead changes beforehand, nearly every lap had a new leader for the fifteen lap shootout, and cars were aggressively clawing their way for positions left and right. A second caution brought out by a track error bunched the field together once again for a green-white-checkered, and Raptorz held off Tawa for another win.
4.29.2023
- Pyos
The D2 race would consist of mostly a battle between Bwoah and Nick for the lead, and the two would trade it amongst themselves for most of the race. However, for the final few laps, a three-car tandem of Krohnox, King, and Parker would eventually catch them, cultivating a five-car battle to last the remainder of the race. On the final lap, King spun and collected Parker, knocking the two of them behind, but Bwoah and Nick began to pull away in the final turns. Bwoah, however, would receive a push to try and steal the win in the final few meters, but Nick attempted a late block in resurgence and crashed in front of Bwoah to cross the line first. Due to the nature of the move, Nick was considered to be given a two position penalty, but the positions stood and he would be crowned the winner regardless.

Tawa has been on a real hot streak as of late. I believe that he will be fast at Rockingham. This leads me to believe that he will be on pole.
Stage winner: Spring has been very fast recently. I think that if the race goes without many cautions, Spring could end up sweeping the stages, along with a possible win.
Winner and podium sitters: I believe that Pyos will be finishing first, with Spring P2 and Shadowy Earning a bronze metal 3rd. Pyos won twice the past four races and I believe he can do it again. Don't be surprised if she sweeps the win. Overall Predictions:
1. Pyos
2. Spring

Coming into Talladega, the cars already had an issue with bump drafting. Passing cars would be especially difficult, making leading the pack your best option. Talladega would have the most cautions all season since Phoenix, with seven, and two flipped cars. In the final ten laps a bad block by a few cars would cause a chain reaction wrecking Raptorz. A 3-lap shootout would go underway, a huge pileup would occur letting pyos get to the lead & lead the pack to the win.

Toronto would be VRA's first road course race. Many spectators and drivers didn't have high hopes for the track, considering how the drivers handled themselves. Raptorz would win the pole for Park3r, and the race was underway. Galaxel managed to sweep both stages and with only one caution during the entire race Galaxel was able to keep his lead, leading 18/25 laps. Galaxel pulled off a dominating performance and won it.

Fears were drawn from many drivers that New Hampshire would end like Milwaukee - a chaotic, laggy mess of a race that would be looked at as a scorn of the league. However, the race ended up relatively calm to start. Pyos took an early lead in front of the pack, with Raptorz trailing behind. These positions would hold for quite a while, as Pyos would go on to win both the first and second stage, and after green flag pit stops, she was safely set for the end on fuel and over ten seconds ahead of second place, now occupied by Tawa as Raptorz had fallen behind. This ended up being caused by lag, as further issues from Raptorz's car prompted a caution, bunching the spread out field together once again. After reshuffling the order from another round of pits, Raptorz would actually take first place past the initial chaos of the restart. This chaos ended up making tempers flare, as NTR sent Spring on one turn which provoked Spring to aggressively send multiple cars, and the chain reaction of recklessness plagued the entire field. Raptorz, running in first, would be able to dodge all of the chaos and finally break his barrier of winlessness in VRA, over a second in front of Spring in second.

With 3 races left to go in the season, Litman_Nick practically had the regular season championship locked in, but he insisted to get a sub. Drivers needed a good finish here if they wanted to stay above the cutline, especially drivers like Galaxel, Color, & Dreggsome. Dreggsome DNF'd halfway into the race, and Color & Galaxel had substitutes to race for them. Tawa managed to pull away with about 20 to go, but while most of the pack fought for a top 5 finish Park3r and Antolol (subbing for Color) were closing in on Tawa. On the final lap, Park3r was right on his bumper, making the pass into turn 1, only for Tawa to the switchback. Park3r tried to hold the outside lane but Tawa made it stick on the bottom, getting Litman_Nick's fourth win of the season.

When Darlington began, there were no doubts that Manta was the fastest driver. Leading nearly every lap up until the first stage, he was dominating the race in front of Pyos, Tawa, and NTR, who were all battling amongst each other for the other front positions. However, a running theme throughout the entire weekend would be the lack of called cautions, as not a single yellow flag through for the entire race. As a result, green flag pit stops commenced before the second stage, and Manta had a rougher stop, dropping him almost ten seconds behind the new leader, Tawa, who made a shorter pit. NTR and Pyos remained second and third, and while Pyos was closing, the two were still incredibly far off of Tawa until the second wave of pit stops, where the three would bunch together and Pyos would eventually emerge with the lead. It looked like she would end up sweeping both Darlington's events for the weekend, but Manta had brought Spring back with him to slash the massive gap that kept him from the lead. With three laps to go, Manta had an incredible run off of the corner, passing Pyos for the lead. It wasn't over, yet, for Tawa and Pyos continued to battle, with NTR and Spring slightly behind, waiting to capitalize on any possible carnage. The top three kept it clean until the final corner, where Tawa and Pyos overshot, spinning Tawa into the wall. All three recovered quickly, but Manta emerged in front over Tawa and Spring to take a well-deserved win.

Everyone racing at Talladega was fighting hard, with numerous slamming and shoving occurring lap after lap, with the lead changing constantly. Despite everything, however, only two cautions flew for the entire race, one for nothing more than a track glitch. With the chaos came drivers teaming up to race to the front, including Dirge and Pyos, subbing for King and Bwoah respectively. While Dirge looked like the favorite to win, Parker was able to find his way to the front in the closing turns, and despite having criticism drawn all day for his driving style, he rode his way to a clean, deserved superspeedway win.

Pole: Pyos
Pyos has been running on pole and high into the field almost every race this season. There have been very few races where she has not been up front.
Stage winners: Pyos, Spring
Pyos and Spring have both been up front and have not had any problems with dropping back without gaining their time back. I think that they will both be in the front when the stages come to an end as well as the race continues to the checkered flag.
Winner and podium sitters: I believe that Pyos will be crossing the finish line first, with Spring P2 and Tawa filing out in 3rd. Pyos has been up front a lot of the races, and she won the D2 Darlington race without much trouble.
Overall Predictions:
1. Pyos
2. Spring

Similar to D2's Darlington, a caution-free race would take place, further echoing it with a difficult pit road. The drivers stayed within a few seconds of one another before green flag pit stops, and Pyos, who'd won the first two stages once again, came out of the pits first, with Tawa trailing behind by one second. The gap would ebb and grow throughout the race, sometimes closing to five car lengths, but Pyos held on to the lead and successfully fended off Tawa and Spring to have won every stage and race for Saturday.

- Pyos
In a completely caution-free race, fuel mileage was of the essence with a tricky pit road forcing a spread-out field throughout the entire race. After winning both stages in close contention with Galaxel, Pyos looked like the favorite to take the win as well, but a fantastic pit stop from Dreggsome cycled him to the lead. Pyos wouldn't be outdone, however, and managed to make the one-second gap back up, passing him for the win with well over twenty laps to go. Manta, subbing for Brandon, almost closed a five-second gap, but Dreggsome managed to hold on to second.

Pole: Spring
Spring has shown that he can run up front the entire time a race is going on. If he can start up front there is no reason for me to not think that he can hold it, or maybe even break away.
Stage winners: Tawa, Spring
Tawa and Spring have both shown speed early on in the races especially on mile and a half tracks. They will be up front and they will both be fast and in contention for the win.
Winner and podium sitters: I believe that Spring will be doing burnouts, with NTR P2 and Arti filling out the podium. Spring has been up front the whole season and has been in contention for the win as the laps close every single time. Overall Predictions:
1. Spring
2. NTR

Road Atlanta
Pole: Beast
Beast is one of the most versatile drivers in VCS; he can do good at anywhere under the right circumstances, so I do think he will pull off pole.
Stage winners: Beast and NTR
Winners and the podium sitters: This would be weird for some, but I think Spring can pull it off and score his first win of the season. He’s a fairly versatile like his teammate, Beast. For the podium I believe D1rge will trail behind in p2, and Monko will cap off the weekend with a P3.
Overall predictions:

The Pennzoil 400, like its Fios Series counterpart, was heavily based on the driver's pit strategy. This would cause over half the field to be a lap down and spread out. The Un-Famous drivers were looking like the favourites all three drivers had the strategy to win it, but when it came to pitting D1rge sped, and NTR & Viking ended up behind the leaders. Manta was your leader until about 10 to go where he pulled it into the pits for fuel. With 3 to go now, Raptorz had a mechanical failure, pulling his car off the racing surface before a caution was eventually called. The field was lined up again for yet another green-white-checkered. Pyos, who was our leader before the yellow, quickly pulled away out of turn 2, but Antolol had the run. Antolol sent it down the inside of Pyos sending her up the track, and Antolol set off from there, pulling a 3-car length gap between the field, and cruising to his first victory of the season.
3.25.2023
- Spring
In a near caution-free race, the main contenders had to use their knowledge of pit strategy to get to the line first. Dreggsome & LeTreaux ended up running out of fuel causing their DNFs. Out of pit cycles, Park3r and Nebulon came out as the two contenders, racing side by side every chance they got. when it came down to the final lap Park3r sent it down to the inside of Nebulon. Park3r then slides up the track letting Nebulon get to his inside. The two bumped and rubbed all their way down the front stretch where Nebulon just edged ahead.

Pole: Pyos
Pyos is showing probably the best qualifying pace by far, with front row starts all-around, she’s definitely a contender for the front row at least.
Stage winners: Manta, Spring
Manta and Spring have both respectively shown speed around las vegas, with good finishes from Spring and Manta winning here before in S1. They’ll definitely be fast and in contention for the win.
Winner and podium sitters: I believe that Antolol will pull off the victory, with Manta P2 and NTR grabbing the final podium slot.
Antolol has proven he is fast at tracks like Las Vegas, and he is definitely “the closer” of VRA.

Recently, there’s been a tremendous battle early in the season between King and Nick in the Fios Series. On the final lap of the In-N-Out 300, King lifted on the backstretch while Nick was coming up his outside. The contact made resulted in both losing positions which made Brandon run away with the win. The next day at Phoenix, Nick and King were battling hard for the lead, trading positions and getting more desperate as the laps winded down. Nick felt displeased and wrecked King. After putting King in a decent gap deficit, Nick won the race comfortably with only Bwoah, on pursuit to win only to get put a lap down due to not putting enough fuel. Seeing this, it makes us wonder, is this our early hint to the Fios series championship battle? Both drivers were strong last season in Fios, and they’re definitely hungry and determined to get that championship and maybe a possible shot in the Verizon Cup Series. We’ll see these two clash again on next race at Las Vegas and for the future races to come.

Coming right after a win at Autoclub Monko was ready for yet another. With only a few laps to go the win seemed to be between Tawa & Pyos battling for the lead. A caution was shortly thrown after though. The cause? Monko & Manta; both drivers had been into the wall. The Race would have a two-lap shootout. Tawa would slide up the track losing the lead, and it was a free-for-all from there. Spring had the lead on the final lap with Monko closing in, and into turn 3 Raptorz, from 3rd position, gave Monko the race-winning push from the inside. Monko is now a 3-time Cup Series winner.

The Fios Series at Phoenix only delivered a single caution, leaving the drivers to figure out green flag pit stops. Some drivers got penalized - Color & LeTreaux - While others managed their way through. Bwoah took a very short stop risking himself on fuel. He took the risk and it cost him. Bwoah ended up running out of fuel 2 laps before White. leaving Brandon to try to catch the new leader, Litman_Nick.

In a grueling race that saw many wrecks and calamities, the lead was constantly up for grabs between the whole field, with most having a chance to lead at various points. Throughout a series of late-race cautions, Monko found himself at the front of the field on what would be the final restart preceding the finish. After a strong restart with many drivers falling behind due to spins, Monko was able to pull away from Spring and find himself in victory lane for the first time this season.

With two laps to go the contenders for the race were, Brandon, King, and Litman_Nick. Litman_Nick had been dominating the race so far, with 20 laps led, both stages won, and in contention for the win. King hadn't been far behind, coming 2nd in both stages and leading 10 laps. Then there was Brandon; 3rd in one stage, and only 3 laps led so far. The two juggernauts of the Race were in 2nd and 3rd coming out of a caution. With 2 laps to go Nick tried the move on the outside on King. King wasn't going to let him though. King squeezed Nick into the wall, a costly move for the both of them. Brandon, who no one expected, would come out Victorious. Winning their first race for the team, Manta Motorsports, and Toyota.

The race was set to 25 laps around the 3.7-mile track. The race would finish on a 3rd Overtime attempt. During practice Nebulon ran such a fast lap that VRA officials suspected illegal manuvering causing his lap to be invalidated. Nebulon quickly proved them wrong though, going from last to first and extending it with a 17 second gap on the field. Nebulon had easily been able to win. Spring who had a 12 point cushion had been able to win the championship with a 6th place finish.
