For 14 years, I lived inside prison walls. I made mistakes that cost me my freedom, but even more, they cost me my purpose. Prison was a dark place, not only physically but spiritually and emotionally. Yet, in that darkness, I began to search for meaning.

Since being released, I've worked hard to rebuild my life. I completed my undergraduate degree and built a career serving the public as a Wastewater Compliance Supervisor. I am now nearing the completion of my graduate program in Public Administration. Most importantly, I have committed my life to helping others who are still inside or struggling after release. If I can change, others can too.
