NotSoSilent Studio is a writing studio focused on the entertainment industry. While we focus on our work in the game development and creation field, we are also open to movie productions, commissioned writing, anthologies, short stories, novels, and so much more. Currently, there is only one member on the team and that is the studio's owner and creator, Dean Clark.
Clark has worked in the game industry since 2016. He started his writing work as a journalist with GameTyrant, but his early work was purely freelance under only his name. During his time as a freelance writer, he joined a number of teams that have since abandoned their ideas, but he also landed some projects that flourished to completion. Among the completed projects include the video game Hegis' Grasp: Evil Resurrected, available on Steam, and multiple anthologies under Celenic Earth Publishing.
Today, Clark has created NotSoSilent Studio in hopes of partnering with more teams and possibly even building a writing team for the variety of projects that are bound to work with him. While our starring genres are horror, sci-fi, and fantasy, there truly is no limit to what creative stories will come from this studio. Just as you see our mascot doing in our logo, we will always break outside the box in order to provide intricate, thrilling, and unique stories for every piece of work we get the opportunity to be a part of!
Here at NotSoSilent Studio we believe in Nature Conservation to be the future. Earth simply can not continue on video games, money, and mankind! We need to put effort back into the wild creatures we coexist with and the continued growth of nature. In an effort to help with this, part of our proceeds go back to the continued progress of nature's beauty. While the charity we support most is The Nature Conservancy, we also put monthly contributions toward the Endangered Wolf Center.
The Endangered Wolf Center is located in Eureka, Missouri and are focused on their mission to preserve and protect Mexican wolves, red wolves and other wild canid species, with purpose and passion, through carefully managed breeding, reintroduction and inspiring education programs. One of the ways they do this is allowing people to "adopt" one of their many wolves, which comes with their own benefits for the adopter. When you adopt a wolf, your monthly contribution goes to the continued care and well-being for that wolf and their pack.
As a wolf sponsor, we were able to help the Mexican Wolf named Rogue (image below). Rogue is part of the continued effort to repopulate the dying breed and has contributed by successfully providing two litters of pups! Four of the pups from the second litter have been released into the wild and accepted by a pack out there, but she currently resides in the wolf sanctuary with her partner Amigo and together they are raising their first litter of pups.
With us continuing to provide care for Rogue through our monthly contributions, we have decided that she makes for the perfect Mascot and deserves all of the attention! One day we plan to meet her in person, but until then we admire her efforts to build a family while growing the almost lost breed of wolves. In our admiration, we decided that she is the perfect inspiration for our logo design and color scheme.
Update January 2020: Due to Rogue being relocated to a new home, the Endangered Wolf Center had us select a new wolf to sponsor. After deliberations, we have decided to adopt Rogue's brother-in-law, Mack! Mack is also a Mexican Wolf who is partnered up with a beautiful wolf, of the same species, named Vera. Mack and Vera has also been doing their part to repopulate the endangered Mexican Wolf breed and continue to do so to this day. Because of this change, Mack will be taking over the role as Mascot, but Rogue will forever be remembered and loved. We will not be changing our logo and will keep Rogue as the one we designed it after.
