Setup

1. Go to the location where you want your Teleport gate to send people - this is the destination. The destination can be any location in SL within the same maturity rating of the parcel where the gate later will be placed (the origin).

2. Get the SL-URL of the destination where you want your teleport to lead to. There are many ways how to get the SL-URL. Here are two examples:

   • Make a Landmark. Then select the landmark in your inventory with right mousebutton and chose "Copy SL URL"- or -

   • Open the world map and select "copy SL URL"

3. Go back to where you want to set up your Teleport Gate

4. Rezz the gate and edit it

5. Enter into the Description field the SL-URL of the destination which you got in (2), with CTRL & V

6. Make sure you own the land. If your land is deeded to a group you must deed the Teleport Gate to the same group

7. Ready!

Please consider these points:

1. For safety reasons the teleport gate will only work if the position of the gate and the destination both have the same maturity rating ("G", "M" or "A"). Sending people from one maturity rating to another will not work with these tools.

2. Your gate will only work if you are either the land owner too or if you are able to deed the gate to the same landgroup - which is why the object is "transfer" as a deed is technically a transfer to a new owner. (But do not worry - if you collect the gate again it will show up in your inventory with you as owner)

3. On the first use of these gates maybe users will have to agree to the "Experience". This question will only be asked once and if accepted it won't pop up again. More about Experience is below
