Welcome to Notivo. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Notivo is developed and maintained by an independent developer. Your privacy is important, and we aim to collect only the information necessary to provide the app's features.
Notivo is a reminders and personal money-tracking app.
By default, everything you create is stored only on your device.
If you choose to enable Back Up & Sync by signing in with Google (a Notivo Pro feature), your data is securely backed up to a private cloud database so it can sync across your devices.
Notivo stores information you enter into the app, including:
Reminder titles and notes
Dates and times
Amounts and currencies
Categories and folders
Budget and bill information
When used in local-only mode, this information remains on your device and is not uploaded anywhere.
If you enable Back Up & Sync, this information is securely stored in your private cloud database.
When you use the microphone to create reminders, your speech is processed using Android's built-in speech recognition services to convert spoken words into text.
Notivo does not separately record, save, or store audio recordings.
To support natural-language input such as:
"Remind me to call Mom Friday at 5 PM"
the text you enter may be sent to Google's Gemini AI model through Firebase AI Logic.
This processing helps extract reminder details such as:
Date and time
Reminder title
Amounts
Spending categories
The text is processed only to generate a result and is not used by us to create advertising profiles or track you across apps.
If you choose to enable Back Up & Sync, you will sign in using your Google account.
We may receive the following information from Google:
Name
Email address
Profile photo
This information is used solely to identify your account and provide cloud synchronization.
If you are signed in, your content may be stored in Google Firebase Firestore, including:
Reminders
Folders
Budgets
Bills and financial entries
This data is stored in a private database associated with your account.
We do not share this information with other users, advertisers, or marketing companies.
If you purchase Notivo Pro, payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play Billing.
We receive only confirmation that an active subscription exists.
We do not receive, access, or store:
Credit card information
Debit card information
Banking details
Payment credentials
Google Play and Firebase services may automatically collect limited technical information, including:
Device type
Operating system version
Crash reports
Diagnostic information
This information helps identify bugs, improve reliability, and maintain app performance.
We respect your privacy.
Notivo does not:
Sell your personal information
Show advertisements
Use advertising trackers
Share your reminders or financial entries with advertisers
Build marketing profiles about you
Your data is used only to provide the functionality of the app.
Notivo relies on trusted Google services to provide certain features.

You remain in control of your data.
You may use Notivo entirely in local-only mode without signing in.
In this mode, no account information is collected.
If you have enabled Back Up & Sync, you can permanently delete your account and cloud-stored data at any time through:
Settings → Back Up & Sync → Delete Account & Data
You may erase all data stored on your device through:
Settings → Clear All Data
Data stored locally remains on your device until:
You delete it
You clear app data
You uninstall the app
If Back Up & Sync is enabled, cloud-stored data remains available until you delete your account or request deletion through the app.
Notivo is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so appropriate action can be taken.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Notivo evolves.
Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date at the top of the policy will be revised accordingly.
