Privacy Policy for NotiLens
Effective Date: May 4, 2026
Welcome to NotiLens. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and protected when you use the NotiLens Android application ("App"), developed and maintained by delardiv.
NotiLens is designed with privacy as its core foundation. We believe your digital history belongs strictly to you.
1. Data Collection and Local Storage
NotiLens is a localized notification analytics hub. All notification data, messages, media, and profile pictures captured by the App are stored strictly locally on your device.
Notification Data: We require Notification Access to capture and organize your notification history. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers.
Media and Files: The App requires Storage permissions to save media attachments (images, audio, videos) attached to your notifications. These are saved to your device's local storage.
Biometric Data: If you utilize the Privacy Vault feature, authentication is handled entirely by your device’s native biometric hardware. NotiLens does not collect, store, or have direct access to your fingerprint or facial recognition data.
2. Permissions We Request
To function correctly, NotiLens requires the following device permissions:
Notification Access: Essential for capturing, analyzing, and organizing incoming alerts.
Storage Access: Necessary to save and display media files attached to notifications.
Ignore Battery Optimizations: Ensures the App can reliably capture notifications in the background without being terminated by the Android operating system.
Biometrics/Device Credentials: Used exclusively to secure and unlock the NotiLens Privacy Vault.
3. Third-Party Services
While NotiLens does not transmit your personal notification data, the App does integrate with select third-party services to manage subscriptions and ensure app stability:
RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to process and manage NotiLens Pro subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase identifiers and receipt data to validate your subscription status.
Google Play Services: Used for app distribution, billing, and standard crash reporting.
4. Data Retention
You have full control over your data retention. Through the App's settings, you can define auto-delete rules (Time-to-Live) for specific apps, set database storage quotas, or manually delete your entire captured history. When the storage quota is exceeded, the oldest records are automatically purged from your device.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App and updated on this page with a new "Effective Date."
