# NotiC Privacy Policy

NotiC ("the App") values your privacy and complies with applicable laws and regulations.

This policy explains what information the App accesses, and how it is used, stored, and protected.

## 1. Core Principles

- The App does not collect personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contacts.

- All notification data collected by the App is stored solely on your device and is never transmitted to external servers or shared with third parties.

- The App does not operate any servers. All data is processed and stored locally on your device.

## 2. Information Accessed

### 2-1. Notification Data (Stored On-Device)

The App reads and organizes notifications received on your device. The following information is stored locally:

- **Notification content** — Title, body text, sub-text, timestamp, app name, package name, and category

- **Message information** — Sender name, message content, and group conversation details extracted from MessagingStyle notifications in messenger apps

- **Images** — Images included in notifications (large pictures, profile images, etc.) are saved to the device's internal storage

- **Deep links / Intents** — Intent information is stored to allow opening the original app when a notification is tapped

All of this data is stored exclusively in the device's internal storage and is never transmitted externally.

### 2-2. Information NOT Collected

- Personally identifiable information (name, email, phone number, address, etc.)

- Location data (GPS)

- Contacts, text messages, or call logs

- Device identifiers (ANDROID_ID, Advertising ID, etc.)

- Usage analytics or behavioral data

## 3. Purpose of Use

Notification data stored on the device is used solely for the following purposes:

- Displaying notifications chronologically on a timeline

- Organizing messenger notifications by conversation in the chat view

- Matching keyword filters and sending local push alerts

- Providing bookmark and search functionality

## 4. Permissions

The App uses the following permissions to provide its features:

- **Notification Access (Notification Listener)** — Required to read and collect notifications received on the device. The App's core functionality does not work without this permission.

- **Post Notifications** — Used to send push alerts when a keyword filter matches an incoming notification.

- **Battery Optimization Exemption** — Requested to ensure reliable background notification collection.

- **Query Installed Apps** — Used to display app names and icons alongside notifications. The list of installed apps is not stored or transmitted.

- **Boot Completed** — Used to automatically resume notification collection after a device restart.

Permissions are only used for their stated purposes and can be changed at any time in your device settings.

## 5. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The App currently does not display advertisements and does not use any external analytics tools or third-party services.

If advertising or third-party services are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated in advance.

## 6. Data Retention and Deletion

- All notification data is stored exclusively in the device's internal storage.

- When you delete notifications within the App, the corresponding data is immediately removed.

- When you uninstall the App, all data stored on the device is deleted along with it.

## 7. Data Protection

- Notification data is stored in the App's private internal storage, which is inaccessible to other apps.

- The App does not communicate with external servers, eliminating the risk of data leakage over the network.

## 8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 14 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction) and does not intentionally collect personal information from children.

## 9. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated due to changes in applicable laws or the service. Significant changes will be announced through the App or this page.
