At first, I felt lost, my self-esteem was so low. I didn't have the energy and courage to adapt and learn this new place, because I didn't know the place, languages that were spoken around. I got lost in this place many times, but I never gave up as family gave me support to keep on doing and everything will be okay. First classes were so confusing as the method of studying or learning here is different from the one, I'm used to that is a high school learning method. It was so difficult to cope as at first, I wasn't funded by NSFAS, my mother was the one who was supporting me even though she is unemployed. Luckily, I got funded by NSFAS that made everything better because I was stressed academically and financially that nearly led to depression. I was able to collaborate inside and outside the classroom, as at first, I experienced academic challenge.Â
