NoteSSwim Privacy Policy

NoteSSwim is an Android note-taking app that provides notes, home screen widgets, floating notes, reminders, image attachments, backup and restore features.

Data Collection

NoteSSwim does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal notes or app content with the developer's servers.

The notes, images selected by the user, reminder settings, appearance settings, widget settings, language settings, backup files, and optional PIN setting are stored locally on the user's device.

Data Stored on Device

The app may store the following data locally on your device:

- Note text and formatting

- Note colors and appearance preferences

- Reminder dates, times, and repeat settings

- References to images selected or captured by the user

- Widget, floating note, and app settings

- Backup files created by the user

- Optional 4-digit PIN setting for app access

Permissions

NoteSSwim may request the following permissions:

- Display over other apps: used to show floating notes on top of other apps.

- Notifications: used to show note reminder notifications.

- Camera: used only when the user chooses to take a photo and attach it to a note.

- File or media access: used when the user selects an image or backup file.

- Exact alarm: used to trigger note reminders at the selected time.

- Run at startup: used to restore scheduled reminders after the device restarts.

Backups

Backup files are created and stored locally on the user's device or in a folder selected by the user. Backup files are not uploaded to the developer's servers.

Third-Party Sharing

NoteSSwim does not share user notes, images, reminders, backups, or settings with third parties.

Children's Privacy

NoteSSwim is not specifically directed to children under 13 years of age.
