​1. Local-First Architecture & Data Security

​Note & Smart Expenses operates on a local-first design philosophy. All your personal financial records, expense entries, notes, handwritten sketches, voice dictation transcripts, receipt photos, and decision journal simulations are stored directly and securely on your local device storage using encrypted SQLite databases.

​We do not operate centralized servers that store your financial logs or note documents.

​2. Information We Collect & Why

• ​Profile & Authentication: If you choose to log in using Google Sign-In or Firebase Authentication, we store basic profile credentials (Display Name, Email Address, and Avatar Photo) strictly to personalize your profile and verify your digital in-app purchase entitlements.

• ​Microphone Data: When using the Voice Note Dictation feature, microphone audio is processed in real time by your device's native speech-to-text recognition system solely to transcribe words into your note text. Audio recordings are never stored on external servers.

• ​Camera & Photos: Access is requested only when you choose to capture or attach a bill receipt image to an expense.

​3. Advertisements & Google AdMob

​Free tier users may see non-intrusive banner or interstitial advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Pro and Premium VIP subscribers enjoy a 100% Ad-Free experience across the entire application with all ad SDKs deactivated.

​4. In-App Purchases & Payment Information

​All subscription and digital purchases are processed securely and exclusively through the Google Play Store Billing System. Note & Smart Expenses does not receive, process, or store your credit card, bank account, or payment method details.

​5. Your Rights & Data Deletion

​You have absolute control over your data. You can edit, delete individual records, or clear all app data anytime from the Settings menu or by uninstalling the application.

​Please Note: Because your data is stored locally on this device without centralized remote copies, deleting local app storage or uninstalling the app permanently deletes all records. Note & Smart Expenses is not responsible for data loss occurring from app uninstallation or device storage clearance.
