Notes Camera ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information Collection and Use

Our app is designed to help you take photos with embedded location and time metadata.

• Location Data: The App requires access to your device's location (GPS and network-based) to provide the core functionality of stamping coordinates onto your photos. This data is processed locally on your device.

• Camera: The App requires access to your camera to take the photos you wish to stamp.

• Storage: The App requires access to your device's storage to save the stamped photos to your gallery (specifically the DCIM/NotesCameraClicked folder).

• User-Provided Notes: Any notes you type into the app are stored locally on your device within the app's private storage and are embedded into the photos you save.

• Google User Data: Since we offer Google Drive synchronization, we access your Google Account (via play-services-auth) and your Google Drive storage (google-api-services-drive) to back up and restore your notes.

• Usage and Technical Data: We use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Performance Monitoring, and Crashlytics to collect anonymized data such as crash logs, device model, and app usage patterns to improve app stability.

We do not collect or store any of your photos, location history, or notes on our own private servers.

2. How We Use Your Data

•App Functionality: Location and Camera data are used solely to create and organize your notes.

•Cloud Storage: Google Drive access is used only to create a specific folder for your backups. We do not access other unrelated files in your Drive.

•Monetization: We use the Google Play Billing Library to process in-app purchases or donations. We do not store your credit card information; this is handled securely by Google Play.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These services help us improve app stability and user experience:

•Google Play Services: Used for location tracking and app functionality.

•Firebase Remote Config: Used to provide app updates and configuration changes remotely.

•Firebase Crashlytics: Used to collect crash reports to help us fix bugs and improve stability.

•Google Analytics for Firebase: Used to understand general usage patterns (e.g., which features are used most).

4. Data Security

We value your trust in providing us your personal information. Since all your photos and notes are stored locally on your device, you are in control of your data. We do not transmit your personal media to any external servers.

•Local Data: You can delete your notes and photos at any time within the app, which removes them from your device.

•Cloud Data: You can remove the app’s access to your Google Drive through your Google Account settings.

5. Permissions

The app requests the following sensitive permissions:

•CAMERA: To take photos for notes.

•ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION & ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: To attach GPS coordinates to notes.

•READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (depending on Android version): To save and view your photo notes.

6. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
