Privacy Policy for Notepad - Notes, Memo & To Do

HPG Mobile ("we", "us", "our") develops the Notepad - Notes, Memo & To Do app for Android (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. YOUR NOTES STAY ON YOUR DEVICE

The notes, checklists, reminders and other content you create in the App are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data will permanently delete them. We do not upload, read, or have access to your notes.

2. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

The App uses the following third-party services, which may automatically collect certain information from your device:

a) Google AdMob (advertising)

To show ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, app set ID, IP address (which can be used to estimate your approximate location), device model, operating system, language, and information about your interactions with ads.

b) Google Firebase Analytics (usage analytics)

To understand how the App is used and improve it, Firebase Analytics may collect an app instance ID, device information, app version, and events such as screens viewed, features used, session duration, and in-app purchase events.

c) Google Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting)

To find and fix bugs, Crashlytics may collect crash logs, device state at the time of the crash, device model, operating system version, and an installation identifier.

These services do not receive the content of your notes.

3. IN-APP PURCHASE

The App offers an optional one-time purchase to remove ads ("Premium"). Payments are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We only receive information needed to confirm your purchase, such as a purchase token and purchase status, so that Premium can be unlocked and restored on your device.

4. PERMISSIONS

The App may request the following permissions, only to provide the related feature:

- Notifications: to show reminders you set on your notes.

- Alarms and reminders: to deliver reminders at the exact time you choose.

- Biometric (fingerprint): to unlock notes you have locked. Fingerprint data is handled by the Android system and is never accessible to us.

- Internet: to load ads, analytics, and crash reports.

You can change permissions at any time in your device's settings.

5. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use the information described above to:

- display ads that keep the App free;

- measure and improve the App's performance and features;

- detect and fix crashes and technical issues;

- verify and restore your Premium purchase;

- prevent fraud and invalid ad activity.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. SHARING OF INFORMATION

We share information only with the service providers listed in Section 2 (Google AdMob and Google Firebase) and with Google Play for purchases, for the purposes described in this policy. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

7. ADVERTISING CHOICES AND CONSENT

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App will ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time from the App's settings.

On any Android device, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings > Privacy > Ads (the exact path may vary by device). After deletion, apps can no longer use the advertising ID for personalized ads, and you will see non-personalized ads.

8. DATA RETENTION

- Notes: kept on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App.

- Analytics data: retained by Firebase for up to 14 months.

- Crash reports: retained by Crashlytics for up to 90 days.

- Advertising data: retained by Google according to Google's own policies.

9. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or Vietnam's personal data protection law), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

10. DELETING YOUR DATA

- To delete your notes: delete them in the App or uninstall the App.

- To delete data collected by analytics or crash reporting: email us at admin@hpgmobile.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request - Notepad - Notes, Memo & To Do". We will process your request within 30 days.

11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. SECURITY

Data sent to our service providers is encrypted in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
