NoteMi is a notepad that keeps your notes on your phone. This policy explains what the app stores, what it never touches, and what the advertising that pays for it collects.
Effective: 13 September 2026 onwards App: com.tunix.notemi Developer: Tunix Apps Studio
THE SHORT VERSION
Your notes are not sent to NoteMi or Its server. NoteMi does not operate a server that receives or stores your notes. There is no account, no sync and no server of ours — we cannot read anything you write.
The app is paid for by ads. The ad networks inside it collect your device's advertising ID and ad-interaction data. NoteMi does not include your notes data in advertising requests.
Uninstalling deletes everything the app stored, apart from backup files you exported yourself.
01
NoteMi ("the app") is developed and published by Tunix Apps Studio ("we", "us"), and distributed on Google Play under the package name com.tunix.notemi. This policy covers the NoteMi Android app and nothing else.
Questions or privacy requests go to TunixTech67@gmail.com, and we reply within 30 days. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the app.
02
NoteMi is an offline notepad. Everything you create is written into the app's private storage area, which Android keeps sealed off from other apps. We do not collect it, receive it, or hold a copy of it:
note titles, note text, checklist items and labels;
note colours, pinned, archived and trashed state, and created and edited times;
reminder times, and the note text shown in the reminder notification;
photos you attach, drawings you make and voice memos you record;
your settings — theme, layout, sort order and whether App Lock is on.
There is no account to create, no sign-in and no sync. None of the above is uploaded to NoteMi or stored on NoteMi servers. Android's own backup may handle certain app data as described below.
03
NoteMi is free and supported by ads. Depending on the version installed, ads may be served by one or more of Google AdMob, AppLovin and Meta Audience Network. These networks run their own software inside the app and collect data directly, as independent controllers, under their own privacy policies:
What they typically collect: your device's resettable advertising ID, your IP address and an approximate location (city or region) derived from it, device and app information such as model, OS version and language, ad interactions — which ads were requested, shown or tapped — and diagnostic data about the ad component. They use it to select and deliver ads, cap repeats, measure results, prevent fraud, and personalise ads where you have consented or the law allows.
What advertisers are never given
Your notes are not part of any ad request. Ad partners receive no note text, checklists, labels, drawings, photos or voice memos. Your content is never used to build ad profiles or to train any model. In the networks' dashboards we see only aggregate counts of impressions, clicks and revenue.
04
So that we can tell whether the app is working, NoteMi includes three Google Firebase components. They are run by Google as our processor, under Google's privacy policy, and none of them ever receives anything you write.
Crashlytics records a report when the app crashes or freezes: the error and stack trace, your device model, Android version, app version, and how long the app had been running. We use it to find and fix bugs.
Analytics records how the app is used in aggregate: which screens are opened, how often the app is launched, session length, plus your device model, Android version, language and the country or region inferred from your IP address. It is tied to a resettable app instance identifier, not to your name or account.
Remote Config fetches a small settings file from Google when the app starts, so we can adjust the app — such as turning ads off — without shipping an update. It sends the app instance identifier and receives settings back.
What these never receive: your note titles, note text, checklist items, labels, reminders, drawings, photos or voice memos. Crash reports describe the code that failed, not the content you were editing. We see only aggregate charts — never an individual user's activity.
05
NoteMi asks for the sensitive permissions at the moment you first use the feature, not at launch. You can refuse any of them and keep using the rest of the app.
PERMISSION WHAT IT IS FOR
Microphone Recording voice memos. Recordings are saved only on your device, and the microphone is released as soon as you stop recording or leave the app. Asked the first time you record.
Notifications Delivering the reminders you set. Asked the first time you set one.
Schedule Alarm For reminders you set.
Internet and advertising ID Used only by the ad component to fetch ads and read your resettable advertising ID. NoteMi itself sends nothing over the network.
NoteMi deliberately does not request camera access, photo or media library access, contacts, precise location, or the ability to read your files. If you turn on App Lock, Android verifies your fingerprint, face or PIN and tells the app only whether it succeeded — NoteMi never sees or stores biometric data.
06
These happen only when you choose them, and each is governed by the other provider's privacy policy once your information reaches them.
Dictation. Opens the speech recognition service built into your device — usually Google's. Your speech may be sent to that provider to be converted to text. NoteMi receives only the finished text and does not keep the audio.
Taking a photo. NoteMi has no camera permission; it asks your camera app to take the picture and receives only that one photo.
Adding a photo from your gallery. Uses the Android photo picker, so the app never gets access to your gallery — only the image you pick.
Sharing a note. The text goes to whichever app you choose from the share sheet.
Backup files you export. Settings → Backup writes one .zip containing your notes and attachments to a location you choose. It is not encrypted — anyone who opens the file can read your notes, so keep it somewhere private and think twice before putting it in a cloud folder.
Android's own backup. If you enable Android's device backup, Although NoteMi does not transmit your notes to our servers, Android's system backup feature may back up app data to your Google account if you have enabled device backup. Android may backup certain NoteMi app data to your Google account according to Google's backup system and policies.
07
Your notes live on your device, so you control how long they are kept. Nothing is retained on our side, because nothing reaches us.
Deleted notes go to Trash and are permanently removed after seven days, or immediately with Delete forever.
When a note is permanently deleted, its images, drawings and recordings are deleted from your device too.
Uninstalling NoteMi removes the notes database, your settings and every attachment.
Two things survive uninstalling: backup files you exported yourself, and any Android backup in your Google account. Delete those separately.
Data held by ad partners is kept under their own policies. Resetting or deleting your advertising ID may reduce the ability to associate advertising activity with the previous advertising ID. Other information may still be processed by advertising providers according to their privacy policies.
08
Your notes, images and recordings sit in the app's sandboxed storage, which Android prevents other apps from reading on an unmodified device.
Your content is never sent anywhere, so it cannot be intercepted in transit or exposed by a breach of a server. Ad requests travel over encrypted connections.
App lock/Note lock can require a fingerprint, face or your device PIN before the app opens.
Two honest caveats: exported backup files are not encrypted, and a device that is rooted, compromised or simply left unlocked can expose anything stored on it. No method of storage is completely secure.
09
NoteMi is a general-audience app. It is not directed to children under 13 — or the equivalent minimum age where you live — and is not part of Google Play's Designed for Families programme. NoteMi itself sends nothing over the network. If you are a parent concerned about advertising data on a child's device, reset the advertising ID in Android's settings and write to us so we can help you raise it with the ad partner.
10
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal data processed by our advertising partners, including rights to access, delete, correct, restrict, or object to certain processing. Because NoteMi does not maintain a server containing your notes or account information, requests concerning advertising data may need to be directed to the relevant advertising provider.
11
We will update this page if the app changes in a way that affects your privacy — for example if an ad network is added or a new feature handles a new kind of data. The effective date at the top shows when the current version took effect, and material changes are announced in the app or in the Google Play release notes. Continuing to use NoteMi after an update means you accept the revised policy.
