NoteFlow Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 27, 2026
NoteFlow (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) is an Android application developed by Ice 45 Studios. This Privacy Policy explains how NoteFlow handles information when you use the application.
By using NoteFlow, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information Stored in NoteFlow
NoteFlow is designed primarily to allow you to create and manage notes, tasks, checklists, folders, reminders, and other personal content.
Depending on the features you use, the App may store information such as:
- Notes and text you create
- Checklists and tasks
- Folders, categories, and tags
- Reminders and related settings
- App preferences and customization settings
- Attachments or other content you choose to add
Where supported by the App, this information may be stored locally on your device.
2. Personal Information
NoteFlow does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address simply to use the basic note-taking features.
We do not intentionally request sensitive personal information from users.
However, information processed by third-party services used by the App, including advertising services, may be subject to those providers' own privacy policies.
3. Advertising and Google AdMob
NoteFlow uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
AdMob is provided by Google and may collect or process certain information from your device for purposes including:
- Delivering advertisements
- Measuring advertising performance
- Preventing fraud and abuse
- Providing and improving advertising services
- Personalizing advertisements where permitted
Depending on your device settings, consent choices, applicable laws, and Google's advertising policies, advertising may be personalized or non-personalized.
Google may use advertising identifiers and other device or usage-related information when providing advertising services.
For more information about how Google handles information, please review Google's privacy documentation and advertising policies.
4. Advertising Choices
Where required by applicable law, NoteFlow will request the appropriate consent before serving personalized advertising.
You may also be able to manage advertising preferences through your Android device and Google account settings.
Changing advertising preferences may affect the types of advertisements displayed to you.
5. Third-Party Services
NoteFlow may use third-party services to provide certain functionality.
Currently, the primary third-party advertising service is:
Google AdMob
Third-party services may independently process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
We recommend reviewing Google's privacy practices for more information about data processed through AdMob.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by NoteFlow.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You should avoid storing highly sensitive information in any application unless you understand the associated risks.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
NoteFlow does not intentionally share your notes or personal content with advertisers.
Information may nevertheless be processed by third-party service providers, such as AdMob, when necessary to provide advertising and related services.
8. Children's Privacy
NoteFlow is not specifically designed as a children's application.
The App does not knowingly request children to provide personal information.
If we become aware that personal information has been knowingly collected from a child in circumstances where applicable law requires parental consent, we will take appropriate steps to address the situation.
9. Permissions
NoteFlow may request Android permissions when a particular feature requires them.
For example, permissions may be required for features involving:
- Notifications and reminders
- Files or media that you choose to attach or access
- Displaying the floating/overlay note feature
- Other optional functionality introduced in future versions
Permissions are requested only when needed for the relevant functionality.
You can manage application permissions through your Android device settings.
10. Floating / Overlay Feature
If you enable NoteFlow's floating note feature, Android may require permission to display the App over other applications.
This permission allows NoteFlow to display its floating interface while you are using another application.
The overlay permission itself does not mean that NoteFlow can automatically read the contents of other applications.
11. Data Retention and Deletion
Notes and other locally stored content generally remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App, subject to the behavior of your Android device and any backup functionality you use.
If NoteFlow introduces cloud synchronization or account-based services in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain how those services handle data.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to NoteFlow, advertising services, legal requirements, or our data practices.
When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy will be updated.

14. Important Notice
This Privacy Policy is intended to accurately describe NoteFlow's actual data practices.
If future versions of NoteFlow introduce features such as accounts, cloud synchronization, analytics, crash reporting, online backups, AI services, or additional third-party SDKs, this Privacy Policy should be updated before those features are released.
