# NoteFlow Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how NoteFlow ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information. By using NoteFlow, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
## 1. Data We Do NOT Collect
NoteFlow is an offline notes application. Your notes, reminders, checklists, and all content you create are stored **locally on your device only**. We do **not** collect, store, transmit, or have access to your note content.
## 2. Advertising
NoteFlow displays advertisements served by **Google AdMob** (operated by Google LLC). To deliver and measure ads, AdMob may collect and process information such as:
- Your device advertising identifier (e.g., Android Advertising ID)
- IP address
- Approximate location from device signals
- App usage and performance data
- Device information (model, operating system version)
AdMob may use this information to serve personalized (interest-based) ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time using your device settings (e.g., Android `Settings > Privacy > Ads > Delete advertising ID / Opt out of Ads Personalization`). ## 3. Notifications
NoteFlow can schedule local notifications (e.g., reminders). These notifications are generated and stored entirely on your device. We do not transmit notification content. You can enable or disable notifications at any time from your device settings or within the app.
## 4. Permissions
NoteFlow requests the following Android permissions, which are used only for the stated purpose:
- **Notifications** (`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`): to show scheduled reminder notifications.
- **Exact alarms** (`SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM`) and **boot receiver** (`RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED`): to deliver reminders on time, including after a device restart.
- **Wake lock** (`WAKE_LOCK`): to keep the device awake briefly when delivering a scheduled notification.
- **Internet** (`INTERNET`) and **network state** (`ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE`): required by the advertising SDK to load and display ads.
No permission is used to access contacts, photos, media, call logs, or personal data on your device.
## 5. Data Security
Your content never leaves your device. We do not operate servers that store your data, and there is nothing for us to back up, share, or sell. You are responsible for backing up your own device data.
## 6. Third-Party Services
The only third-party service integrated into NoteFlow is Google AdMob for advertising. Its collection and use of data is governed by its own privacy policy, which you can review at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
## 7. Children's Privacy
NoteFlow is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. AdMob may display ads in the app as configured by the publisher.
## 8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
