https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

This policy explains how Class Notes (授業用ノート, the “App”) handles information. Available features vary by App version and device. No separate App account registration is required.
To create, display, edit, and restore notebooks, the App stores notebook titles, covers, paper settings, handwriting, inserted photos, imported PDFs, writing/creation/update dates, page identifiers, and information about received pages on your device. It also manages optional submitter names, display and drawing preferences, purchase status, and local usage records used to control review-request frequency.
The App may retain recovery records, previous page versions, and protected conflict copies to protect data after a save failure, page replacement, or sync conflict. The developer does not operate a separate server or management feature to automatically obtain or view your notebooks. However, information is processed outside your device when you use the iCloud features or choose to share content or contact support, as described below.
In supported versions, enabling “iCloud Sync” in Settings stores and syncs notebook titles, covers, paper settings, page handwriting, photos, PDF backgrounds, and related dates, identifiers, and received-page information in your private database in Apple’s CloudKit service. This lets you continue using notebooks on devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Sync is off by default.
Sync is for your own devices, not collaborative editing with friends using different Apple Accounts. The App uses Apple’s mechanisms, including background sync notifications. Turning sync off does not delete notebooks already stored in iCloud or on other devices.
App backups are recovery copies of notebooks, handwriting, covers, photos, PDF backgrounds, received-page information, and related data. They also contain creation times, the App version, the device name, and identifiers distinguishing backups and their source. Purchase entitlements are checked separately through Apple’s purchase restoration.
Automatic backup is on by default. When enabled, backups are created according to conditions such as data changes and the backup interval. You can also create backups manually. The App creates a local backup and, when iCloud Drive is available, also stores it in your iCloud Drive. When iCloud is unavailable, the backup remains on your device. Before a restore, the App creates a safety copy of the current state and, when possible, also saves it to iCloud.
Backup and sync are separate features. Turning sync off does not stop automatic backups. To stop automatic backup creation, turn off “Automatic Backup” in Settings > Backup & Restore. Turning this setting off does not delete existing backups.
Data stored through iCloud sync, iCloud Drive, and backup is associated with your Apple Account, processed and stored through Apple’s services, and uses your iCloud storage. Apple’s terms and privacy policy govern its storage, communications, security measures, and processing locations.
https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
Depending on your device settings, App data may also be included in system iCloud Backup or device backups made on a computer. These are separate from the App’s sync and automatic backup settings.
The App uses the system photo picker and copies the images you select into notebook covers or pages. It does not send your entire photo library to the developer. It reads and stores PDFs and editable pages that you select or receive. If you choose a file from iCloud Drive or another external provider, that provider’s services may be used to retrieve it.
Imported content becomes part of a notebook and may be included in sync, backup, export, and page sharing. Check the content and destination before including real names, faces, school names, other personal information, or material belonging to others.
At your request, the App exports pages as images, PDFs, or editable App page files for a recipient or service you choose, such as AirDrop, Files, or email. Editable pages include handwriting, inserted photos, PDF backgrounds, a page identifier, and creation, update, and export times.
If you choose to include a sender name when sharing, the name you enter is also included. A submitter name entered in Settings is printed on image/PDF exports. A received-page label and sender name may also appear on exported pages. Names are self-reported; they are not verified identities or digital signatures.
Sharing transfers a copy that the recipient can save, edit, and share again. The App cannot centrally revoke copies already sent to other people or services. The recipient’s or selected service’s policies apply to those copies.
Premium purchases and payments are processed through Apple’s App Store. The App uses StoreKit to check purchase and restoration status. The developer does not obtain or store credit card numbers or other payment details.
The App does not include advertising SDKs or external usage-analytics SDKs, track users for advertising, or sell user data. Its own usage records, such as those used to limit review requests, stay on the device and are not automatically sent to the developer. Apple’s services, including the App Store and diagnostics, follow Apple’s settings and policies.
You can manage notebooks and photos through the App’s deletion controls. When sync is enabled, deletions may propagate to other synced devices. The App may retain content to protect data, for example when there are unsent changes or protected copies.
Backups are separate from active notebooks. A deleted notebook may remain in older backups. Review and, when needed, delete individual local or iCloud backups in Backup & Restore. Pre-restore safety copies, previous versions retained during page replacement, and protected conflict copies may also remain separately from ordinary notebooks.
Uninstalling the App normally removes its local App data, but does not erase all copies in iCloud, on other devices, with recipients, in exported files, or in system backups. Use the controls available at each storage destination, including Apple’s iCloud storage management, to manage those copies. The developer does not provide an administrative feature to view or delete your iCloud data on your behalf.
If you send email or submit the Google feedback form, the developer receives your message, reply details, and information you voluntarily attach, and uses them as needed to respond, investigate issues, and improve the App. You do not need to send notebooks or confidential information. Contact the address below to request access to or deletion of information you provided to the developer. Requests are handled subject to applicable legal requirements.
This policy website and the feedback form use Google services. Google may process access information, cookies, and related data under its own terms and privacy policy. This does not mean the App automatically sends your notebooks to Google.

The App is intended for lessons and learning. Where appropriate, minors should consult a parent, guardian, or school when deciding whether to use iCloud, share content containing real names, or contact support.
We update this policy when features or information practices change and indicate the update on this page and in its last-updated date.
