The App is a productivity utility designed to help users capture thoughts, record voice memos, create checklists, and attach images to organize their daily tasks. By using the App, you agree to the rules outlined in this Policy.
Local Storage: We value your privacy above everything else. Your text notes, checklists, voice recordings, and attached images are stored strictly on your device's internal storage. We do not run cloud servers, and we never upload or view your personal notes.
Zero Data Collection: We do not collect, track, or share any personal information, usernames, or account details.
Total User Control: All your data belongs to you. You can delete your notes or revoke device permissions at any time.
3. DATA WE HANDLE AND PERMISSIONS USED
To make the note-taking and task-management features function correctly, the App requires specific system permissions. We handle this data locally and ephemerally as detailed below:
Image Attachments: When you add an image to a note, the App links or saves that image locally within your device's secured application database.
Task Lists & Text: All checklists, titles, and text entries are managed through your phone's secure local storage database.
We partner with trusted third-party services to keep the basic app free and process optional premium features:
Advertising Partners: We display advertisements through Google AdMob and its mediation partners (such as Meta, Pangle, and Liftoff). These networks may use your device’s advertising identifier (AD_ID) to combat fraud, manage ad frequency, and deliver relevant ad experiences.
In-App Billing: If you purchase a premium upgrade or subscription, the transaction is securely handled directly by the Google Play Billing API. We never see or store your credit card or financial records.
5. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Data Erasure: Because your notes and checklists are saved strictly in your device's local database, you can completely wipe your data at any time. Simply clear the App's storage/cache through your phone's native System Settings or uninstall the App.
Permission Control: You can turn off microphone access or disable notifications at any time via your device's application permission settings.
Our Note Taker app is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or maintain any personal data from children.
