Travesty of Justice in the Derek Chauvin-George Floyd Case
Officer Derek Chauvin did not "murder" George Floyd but followed standard procedure. The famous Darnella Frazier video only shows the final nine minutes of the confrontation. The police body camera footage proves that Floyd violently resisted arrest before he was pinned on the ground, and that he started claiming he could not breathe even before he began to violently resist arrest. The body camera footage also proves that Floyd had multiple chances to avoid being pinned. The claim that Floyd's death had nothing to do with the massive amount of fentanyl he had consumed before the confrontation is absurd. Floyd arguably would have died from a fentanyl overdose an hour or two after he used a counterfeit bill to steal cigarettes if the police had not been called.
