Hi everyone, I’m Hannah Norwood! I am a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology. Throughout my time in college I continually came back to my love of sharing knowledge and instilling curiosity about the incredible wonders of science, which is why I ultimately decided to go into education. After finishing my undergraduate degree, I completed many graduate level science education classes through the University of Maine and worked for 4H developing science curriculum.

I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, scuba diving, sailing, and anything to do with the ocean and I bring my experiences into the classroom any chance I get.

I have been passionate about science since I was very young and I am so thrilled to be able to share that passion with you. Science provides a unique avenue for exploration and discovery, empowering students with the tools to make a positive impact on the world around them. I believe that through science education, we can equip our students to become the change-makers of tomorrow.
