Ushaw Historic House, Chapels and Gardens, Ushaw Moor, DH7 7DW
We've re-named some of the rooms we'll be using at the Festival. Presentation Room will be Lake - there used to be lake where priests skated in the winter
Meeting Room 1 will be Cat - a racquet game unique to Ushaw
And we'll have a room called Rhododendron, to celebrate the glorious and famous displays in the garden
Refectory - Our headline teacher will teach in one part of this beautiful room and we'll serve food in the other part.
Visitors to the house pay an entrance fee to the building which you’ll have access to when you book into the festival. This includes acess to:-
· beautiful grounds
· the historic house, including renowned buildings such as the St Cuthbert's Chapel, Exhibition Hall Theatre, and Refectory in which our we’ll be holding some of our sessions and having our buffet lunch
· any exhibitions that will be taking place
