Mary Ann Parker

Gone but Not Forgotten

News has come from her family that Mary Ann Parker, wife of Kirby, passed away this spring of natural causes. Mary Ann was a staple at all the contests in the Tri-Cities over the years, helping Kirby keep score and providing support to all of the flyers. She also hosted the wonderful BBQ’s on Saturday evening of the Sun Fly event for many years. Even after Kirby passed, she welcomed many of us out-of-town pilots into her home for overnight stays. Now she is back with Kirby and making a difference . . . up there.

Classes and Tasks:

OPEN, 2M & RES, 1 class per pilot

10 min or CDs choice, man-on-man ALES Format

Equipment:

50’ landing lines

No winches will be provided, make your own arrangements.

Times and Entry Fee:

Flying will begin at 9:00am. Pilots meeting at 8:45am.

AMA or MAAC membership required to ﬂy

$20 per day

Awards

This is a two day contest - Two day total score

1st - 3rd Expert awards

1st - 3rd Competitor Awards

Thermal Wizard

Last round will be 2:00pm Sunday

Location:

Farragut State Park- Flyers Field. 4 miles east of Athol, Idaho.

Everyone pay the park day use fee at the park entrance.

Other Stuff:

lunch will not be available please bring your own food
