Answer: Depending on what you job in the Air Force is, depends on how long you will be at Tech School. On average most schools vary from 1 month to 6 months.
Question: How do you go to College and be active duty at the same time?
Answer: Most Air Force jobs are ran like normal business hours. So from 0730-1630 or so. What you decide to do on your time off after 1630, is up to you. We do not control your off time. If you decide to invest your time and go to college then the Air Force will pay for it. You also have the weekends, holidays, family days, and many other days off.
Question: How much does the Air Force cover in Tuition Assistance for college?
Answer: The Air Force will pay up to $4500 per year for every year you are active duty. You can also attend any college you want to go to. We recommend only attending colleges or universities supporting the yellow ribbon program. That is where the school will reduce the normal tuition per class to the government rate of $750 per class. Some schools may charge over $1K per class. So ensure you pay attention to the schools program so you don't have to pay the difference for the classes. While we are on the topic of college, you do not need to take the SAT or ACT to attend college with the Air Force.

Answer: We have a 4 or 6 year contract
Question: How many college credits do you receive for completing BMT and Technical Training?
Answer: Roughly 35 credits. Each career field offers a different amount of credits. But, on average you will have over 1 year of college completed before you even start college.
Question: How much do you make in the Air Force?
Answer: Depending on what rank you start out with depends on your pay. Ask your local recruiter how you can start out as a higher rank. The base pay is below and only accounts for what the IRS can tax you on. While your in the Air Force you get either free housing and food or the Air Force gives you a stiffen for housing and food. We also receive a pay increase every year until your fourth year and then it is every other year. We also receive an annual pay increase in January for inflation of the economy.
