Kyle graduated from Seattle Preparatory High School in three years. He then went to Seattle University and graduated with a bachelor degree in Humanities/Human Factors (Ergonomics) three years later at the age of 20. He then joined the injury and disability field, working full time, predominantly addressing non-occupational conditions and performing disability accommodations, all while obtaining his second bachelor degree in Psychology at the age of 21. He performed job accommodations, job search and placement services for persons with disabilities. Kyle started working with occupational injuries and entered the Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor field in January 2001. In 2002 he completed Industrial Ergonomics Training Certification with Boeing. In 2003 he was certified with the Department of Labor and Industries for Advanced Office Ergonomics. He continued until 2004 when he started Northwest Injury Management with Mark Worthington performing Vocational Consulting. In 2010, he obtained his Certified Disability Management Specialist certificate. He has developed online and closed-system job analysis databases and has performed over 1,800 high-end job analyses. He provides vocational services, vocational expert witness, second injury fund relief assessments, ergonomic evaluations, disability accommodations and job modifications for multiple self-insured organizations. He is a repeat trainer for WSIA for advanced claims as well as an ergonomics trainer for multiple major corporations.
Kyle's geographic area covers all of Western Washington.
These days, when Kyle is not working, he a volunteer coach for multiple youth soccer and baseball teams. He is a family man that loves going camping with his two young kids and wife. He loves playing golf and will even regretfully lose to his insanely competitive and talented wife..... occasionally. For hobbies, he has worked on and rebuilt classic muscle cars, remodeled houses, played soccer in Europe and has even been a professional whitewater rafting guide. Other than that, you can find Kyle working on home improvement projects and cooking for friends and family when they come over for Seahawks games.
Mark graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in 1991 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. He began his professional career in Vocational Rehabilitation in January 1992 and is in his 26th year in this field. He completed his internship with CorVel from 1992 to 1994. In 1995, he started working for Crawford & Company. In 1997 Mark began supervising Southwest Washington and all of Oregon. He eventually became Manager in 2001 responsible for Washington. Since that time, Mark has worked with NW Injury Management, providing services to customers to include vocational assessments, job analyses, labor market research / projections, second injury pensions and advising on claims of difficult nature. He has provided training to those in the industry on many occasions and has been a repeat trainer of advanced claims for WSIA. In 2010, he obtained his Certified Disability Management Specialist certificate and continues to provide vocational services for multiple self-insured organizations.
Mark's geographic area covers the entire state of Washington, however, his specialty market is Southwest Washington as well as the Tri-Cities area. He enjoys traveling for work throughout the State of Washington and seeing the diversity each geographical area holds.
Mark grew up in Longview, WA, and in 1990, married his high school sweetheart. He and his wife have two grown children and are enjoying an empty nest. In his spare time, Mark enjoys steelhead and salmon fishing, as well as fly fishing for rainbow and cutthroat trout with his dad and brother, taking day trips with his wife, throwing a ball to his ever-energetic golden lab, and spending as much time with his family as possible.
