Day Camp

Come join the fun as Girl Scouts travel thru time at a camp in Fairfield Township. Girls entering grades 1–12 in the fall of 2019 are invited. Girls will use their imagination and creativity as they learn new skills, choose unit activities, and discover new things. Campers will enjoy activities such as wading in the creek, daily crafts, songs and games, outdoor cooking, hiking, archery, and sling shots (grade 4 and older). Girls entering grades 4–12 this fall may attend an overnight Wednesday, June 19, 2019. Bus stops will be conveniently located in Fairfield and Fairfield Township. The approximate pickup/drop-off times will be 8:20 a.m./3:20 p.m. at Fairfield Creekside Middle School and 8:30 a.m./3:10 p.m. at Fairfield East Elementary School.

We Need Your Help!

Adult volunteers are needed to ensure girls have the opportunity to attend day camp. Moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and other adult friends are welcome! A Girl Scout background is not necessary. You can find the forms you need online in the Adult Packet. Training, which will prepare you for your role at day camp, is free and held in May. Children of unit leaders working five days will receive a reduced rate on their day camp fee. Your non-Girl Scout children, ages 2 (toilet trained)–12, may attend camp in their own units. Can't remain at camp all day? Adults are also needed to help at bus stops in the morning and afternoon. We need help to set-up camp (dads especially) on Saturday, June 15 and to take down camp on Friday, June 21.

Activity Costs (includes bus transportation, patch and a camp T-shirt for all campers):

Boys (volunteers’ children in grades 1–6 in the fall of 2019) $45

Pixies (volunteers’ children ages 2–5. Must be toilet trained before camp begins.) $40

Adults volunteering for five days will get a $15 per camper discount on the prices below. Send the discounted amount with the registration form. The fees for boys and Pixies are already discounted.

Girl Scout Juniors (Grades 4–5 in the fall of 2019) $75

Girl Scout Cadettes (Grades 6-8 in the fall of 2019) $75

PA training unit (Grades 7-8 in the fall of 2019) $80

PA’s (Grades 8-12 in the fall of 2019 and has completed PA training) $60

Additional fee for non-registered girls and adults $25 (All girls and adults participating in camp must register as Girl Scouts.)

T-shirts for each volunteer attending less than three days $ 7 (optional)
